Iran 40 years after victory of the Islamic Revolution (7)

Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, in a speech at the holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS) in Mashhad in the beginning of the Iranian 1397 year, said, "In the year that passed the Islamic Republic succeeded to hoist the flag of dignity and might of the Iranian nation in the region and had an important share in breaking the back of the Takfiris and establishing security in the region."

The Leader of the Islamic Revolution, emphasizing on the presence of the Islamic Republic of Iran in some of the regional countries according to the demand of their governments and nations, made it clear, "We have neither bullied nor have we interfered in the domestic affairs of countries. They requested and we helped them and we did this help with logical motives and very rational calculations rather than sentiments."

One of the ideals of the Islamic Revolution has been the promotion of the culture of resistance in the face of the global system of dominance.

The Islamic Republic of Iran in its 40th year of life, has continued the path of defending the rights of oppressed nations as it has been expressly mentioned in the Constitution.

The foreign policy of the Islamic Republic is also based on principles such as unflinching support for the downtrodden and Muslims in the world.

The article 16 of principle 3 of the Constitution stresses the designing of foreign policy on the basis of Islamic criteria, brotherly commitment toward all Muslims and unflinching support for the downtrodden across the world.

Principle 154 also makes it clear that the Islamic Republic of Iran, while avoiding any intervention in the internal affairs of other nations, supports righteous struggle of the downtrodden against oppressors in any region of the world. Dr. Seyyed Jalal-uddin Madani explains this principle in his book, "As long as nations are not determined to realize their rights there will be no possibility of change in them and whenever a nation grows up and demands its violated rights it will cause change. The support of the Islamic Republic for such an uprising is not considered as intervention because the solidity and stability of the system depends on the demand of the people and when a nation asks for help it has used its rights rather than foreign help."

Ayatollah Khamenei says, "Wherever we interfere we say it clearly. We interfered in the affairs against Israel and the result was the victory of the 33-day war and the 22-day war. After this, also, wherever any nation or any group which confronts the Zionist regime we will be behind it and help it and have no fear of saying this."

In view of the Islamic Republic of Iran, every nation should enjoy equal rights in the international system and shouldn't be aggressed or bullied by any country.

The Islamic Republic of Iran is opposed to any aggression, invasion and occupation; and wherever it realizes that a nation is in need of support against aggression it will not hesitate to support it and condemn the aggressor and oppressor. The Founder of the Islamic Republic, Imam Khomeini, said, "We must support the downtrodden of the world because Islam supports the whole downtrodden in the world and Iran spends its power to support other Muslims."

These stances mean opposition against domineering policies and behaviors. The Islamic Revolution has been shaped on the basis of the culture of resistance, self-sacrifice, freedom-seeking, self-belief, bond between politics and religion, justice-seeking and struggle against Arrogance. Since its birth, the Islamic Revolution has fought the Global Arrogance (symbolized by the US) and the Zionist regime of Israel and the most illegitimate entity in the world.

The right to live is one of the birthrights of every human being. But, today the regimes which are supported by the United States of America are committing every crime with full impunity. The fabricated Zionist regime of Israel has committed every imaginable crime for the past 70 years but the US has always supported it shamelessly.

Saudi regime has been a partner-in-crime for the US and Israel at least for the past three decades. Saudis started their military assault on Yemen on March 25, 2015, but the there is no movement or cry of the US human rights on the issue.

Rania Khalek, American analyst tweeted on the barbaric attacks of Saudis on Yemeni people, "In Yemen, every hour a citizen loses his life due to cholera and the US-sponsored Saudi bombardment and siege is the cause of widespread outbreak of cholera."

Although these moves and battles have existed in the past eras, too, the occurrence of the Islamic Revolution caused fundamental development in the teachings of the culture of resistance. Without doubt, it can be said that today defence of values and justice-seeking ideal of the Islamic Republic have turned inspired deprived nations to resists against the hegemonic system in the world. The impacts of this can be seen in the awakening of oppressed nations. Oppressed nations now believe that they can confront despotic regimes. The culture of resistance has been shaped up in the form of Islamic uprisings in the Islamic world and the culture of fighting oppression among deprived nations. Universalization of the values of the Islamic Revolution has made the demand for ending the US hegemony and Israeli occupation of Palestine to a global demand.

Protests against domineering systems, especially the Great Satan (the US) and its continuous violation of international treaties and non-commitment vis-à-vis global issues such as the environment preservation, nuclear disarmament, racism and discrimination have been universalized. In view of this, the demand for basic changes in the structure of the global system and monopoly has been focused on the bodies like the United Nations Security Council and monetary funds and institutions in the first place. The Iranian nation's stiff resistance against the bullying of the US and its allies have created the belief among oppressed nations that it is possible to stand against domineering powers. 

U.S. trying to avenge defeat at the United Nations

TEHRAN - The U.S. House of Representatives and Senate approved a new draft law against leaders of Hamas and Hezbollah. Approval of the draft law follows the recent failure of the United States to condemn Hamas.

Zionist broadcasts have claimed that Hamas and Hezbollah leaders have been using civilians as human shields, among other charges.  The U.S. sources also emphasized that the draft law would be presented for final signature by U.S. President Donald Trump. The law was introduced and approved following efforts of the Zionist lobby in the United States.

Donald Trump, since taking office almost two years ago, has taken a considerable action against the Palestinians, among which the most important is recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of the Zionist regime and, worse, the transfer of the embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. Now, the new aggressions against Hamas is in line with the same basic policy of the U.S. government and Trump particularly.

The recent move by the United States to set up a new draft law against the leaders of the Hamas resistance movement can be seen as a kind of retaliation by Washington because of its recent fiasco in the United Nations General Assembly. The U.S. tried to condemn Hamas. The draft measure required approval by two-thirds of the members of the UNGA (the United Nations General Assembly). The sole governments that voted in favor of this draft were the United States, the Zionist regime, Australia, Liberia, Marshall Islands, and Nauru.

A few minutes before the vote on this draft, another vote was taken at the General Assembly, which determined the majority needed to approve the proposed draft. In the vote, the U.S. proposed that it would be enough to obtain a simple majority of votes, but Kuwait suggested that the adoption of such a draft requires a vote of at least two-thirds of the members. Finally, the Kuwaiti proposal was accepted.

The U.S. and Zionist authorities, after the UNGA vote, have not been able to hide their anger at the non-adoption of a resolution against Hamas.

Nicky Haley said: “We cannot talk about peace in the Middle East unless we agree on the Hamas condemnation.” Zionist ambassador to the United Nations, Danny Danon, also criticized the failure to approve the draft U.S. anti-Palestinian resolution. He praised Haley's efforts on Twitter.

The United States still fails to realize that the world is no longer unipolar. The Americans have shown they continue to believe that the universe is unipolar and that it is only Washington that can put forward the first and last words on some matter. Washington, before the start of the Friday poll on an anti-Palestinian resolution at the UN General Assembly, even threatened the members of the assembly that if there was no positive vote on the resolution, it would have heavy consequences for them.

Americans are pursuing their hostile and discouraging moves to achieve what the Zionists could not accomplish in the military battleground with the Palestinian Islamic Resistance groups in the Gaza Strip. What seems to be clear is that, as much as possible, further efforts of the United States against resistance groups are planned, though they may be as ineffective as the recent U.S. defeat at the UNGA.

As reported by Qods News Agency (Qodsna) a session titled as "The American-Zionist scenario for the Middle East from the Deal of Century to dual conventions" was held this morning at Qods News Agency headquarters in Tehran with the presence of Iranian Parliament members, pro-Palestinian media activists and reporters.

Javad Karimi Ghodusi member of National Security and Foreign Policy of the Islamic consultative assembly, regarding the new middle east plan from the US-Zionist lobbies said: “The tyranny imperial regime of America and Israel were planning to take over the entire region by different tools from creating monarchy regimes, supplying terrorist or even imposing sanction but they failed doing so because of the power of resistance movements which created major obstacles against this conspiracy. The resistance front advanced its operation area so much that today the Zionist regime is worried about its existence; meanwhile the resistance movement is taking it front lines closer to the occupied territories borders and puts Israel's existence into danger. I can easily claim the process of annihilating Zionist regime is 80% complete and some 20% is only left, which is processing in much faster speed phase.”

He continued: “Palestinian cause is one the oldest issues of the Middle East the region is geographically where west and east share a border line. The imperialist tyranny regime created Zionist regime to make things complicated in the region in order to advance their interests.”

He added: “In this modern age they have created unstable political groups in Palestine that not only they stand for the rights of Palestinian people but they stand for the interests of Zionists, the right of return of Palestinians was not defended as well as many other rights.”

After his remarks Mr. Ruyvaran an expert of Midde east policy and a pro-Palestinian activist started his speech by mentioning the Balfour agreement and said: “The Balfour agreement took place due to fears from Islamic awakening and upraise.”

The expert explained: “They created Israel to continue their colonialism over the region to slow down Islamic movements and revolutions. They expanded Zionist regime’s lands and gave them all necessary tools from classic weapons to nuclear weapons as well as political and financial support.”

He added: “The Islamic revolution of Iran was a climax point, before the Islamic revolution of Iran the west was thinking that Israel is capable of controlling the entire region.”

He continued: “Iran Islamic revolutionary views mentioned Palestinian issue as Islamic world's top priority issue meanwhile same conflicts were witnessed in Kashmir and elsewhere is Islamic regions but Imam Khomeini chose the Issue of Palestine is top priority for all Muslims to stablish an Islamic unity and provide an opportunity to end the occupation as soon as possible.”

Javad Karimi Ghodusi continued: “Mossad is world's first terror brand, they have convicted large numbers of terror attacks throughout the globe, and one of them is the assassination of Emad Moghnie. They have assassinated Iran’s nuclear scientists, but Iran stood against this situation and took the arena into collateral damage arena, several collateral damages were convicted in response, in one case resistance forces snapped Netanyahu’s son while he was resting in his bed to prove that they can kill him in collateral damage.”
