The Sacred Defense is a culture and an enduring movement in Iran's history

The Friday Prayer Leader of Ravansar County, congratulating on Sacred Defense Week, considered this era as one of the golden pages of the history of the Islamic Revolution, and emphasized: "The Sacred Defense should not be considered an event or incident; rather, it is a culture and a movement in the history of this land."

Mamosta Molla Mohammad Mahmoudi, in an interview with the Taghrib News Agency (TNA), stated: "Islamic Iran, in the very first years of the revolution's victory, faced a very important challenge – namely the imposed war."

This Sunni scholar emphasized: "In this war, the enemy was very hopeful of breaking the resistance of the Iranian nation in the shortest possible time and achieving its promise of conquering Tehran, but this satanic desire of the enemy was never realized."

Mamosta Mahmoudi stated: "By God's will and contrary to all expectations, after eight years of war, it was Iran that emerged victorious – an Iran that at that time had neither weapons nor facilities, but it was the firm faith and conviction of the warriors in the leadership of Imam Khomeini that determined the fate of this long war."

The Friday Prayer Leader of Ravansar County continued: "The Sacred Defense should not be considered an event or incident; rather, it is considered a culture and a movement in the history of this land."

He emphasized: "The Iranian nation, especially its young and adolescent generation, with belief in Islamic principles such as jihad against enemies, was able to disturb all the troubled dreams of the enemies of this land through general mobilization."

This Sunni scholar stated: "In the eight-year war, Iran achieved a very important self-belief. It was at that time that Iran's defense and missile industry gradually took shape, and today we are at a point where the entire world is astonished by this power."

Mamosta Mahmoudi stated: "We hope that the culture and movement of the warriors of Islam during the Sacred Defense will not only not be forgotten, but will be transmitted to the new generation of society day by day through cultural work and appropriate groundwork."

The Friday Prayer Leader of Ravansar County noted: "Undoubtedly, if the culture of sacrifice and jihad exists in our society and is given attention in practice, many cultural, social, and even political and economic anomalies in the country will be eliminated."
