Sheikh Abdullah Jabri, Secretary-General of Lebanon’s Ummah Movement, has stressed the need for Muslim unity and collective resistance against enemies.

Addressing the second international conference on the “Prophetic Mission of the Muslim Ummah,” organized by the Qademoun World Assembly, Jabri cited the Quranic verse, “And hold fast, all together, to the rope of Allah, and do not be divided.”
He said God has called on Muslims to preserve their unity and stand together in a cohesive front against oppression and aggression.Sheikh Abdullah Jabri, Secretary-General of Lebanon’s Ummah Movement, has stressed the need for unity among Muslims in support of the Palestinian cause, saying resistance movements across the region form what he described as a “crescent of resistance.”
Speaking at the second international conference on the “Prophetic Mission of the Muslim Ummah,” organized by the Qademoun World Assembly, Jabri said supporting Palestine had been one of the main objectives of the Islamic Revolution in Iran from its outset.
He referred to the slogan “Today Iran, tomorrow Palestine” as reflecting the approach of Imam Khomeini (RA), adding that the Iranian people have continued to support Palestine and al-Quds despite more than 47 years of sanctions and pressure.
Jabri described Imam Khamenei as continuing this approach and said resistance movements in Iran, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Palestine and Yemen had come together as what he called the “Axis of Resistance.”
He said what opponents had sought to portray as a “Shia Crescent” was, in his view, actually a “crescent of resistance” extending from Tehran to Baghdad, Damascus, Beirut and Palestine, with Yemen also playing a role.
Jabri urged Muslims to strengthen their unity, awareness and knowledge of their shared resources, sacred sites and responsibilities, and to stand together against what he called the “US-Israeli-Western project.”
