Yemen calls for practical action by Arab and Islamic countries regarding the violation of Al-Aqsa Mosque

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Yemen called on Arab and Islamic countries to take practical measures in response to the Zionist regime's actions against Al-Aqsa Mosque and the city of Al-Quds.

In a statement, Yemen's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, while condemning the entry of Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of the Zionist regime, and Zionist settlers into the tunnels and excavation sites of Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Western Wall (Al-Buraq), called on Arab and Islamic governments to take practical positions regarding these actions.

 
The ministry, referring to officials and scholars who claim to defend Islamic sanctities, asked why they have not taken any action in response to this incident.

Yemen's Ministry of Foreign Affairs also emphasized that those who expect the Zionist regime to remain committed to treaties and agreements are deluded and deceived, and must understand the nature of this regime's behavior.

Yemen, in this statement, emphasized its readiness for coordination and cooperation with member countries of the Islamic Ummah in order to confront the Zionist threat and support the Palestinian cause.

This statement was issued after Netanyahu's visit to the tunnels and excavations beneath Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Western Wall, and concurrent with the continued incursions of Zionist settlers into the mosque's courtyard – actions that have increased concerns about the Zionist regime's efforts to change the status quo around one of the holiest Islamic sites.
