Malaysian Consultative Council of Islamic Organization (MAPIM) has issued a statement to support a recent message by more than 100 Muslim scholars who backed the Leader of Islamic Revolution in face of threats, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
The signatories of the statement wrote,” We believe that the wise,
courageous, and enlightened positions of the Leader of the Islamic
Revolution, Ayatollah Khamenei, in defending the dignity of the Islamic
Ummah, confronting the system of domination, supporting oppressed
nations, and standing against global arrogance, are derived from the
original teachings of pure Muhammadan Islam (PBUH) and the continuation
of the path of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and his pure Ahlul Bayt (AS).”
“Supporting these positions is considered supporting the dignity, independence, and unity of the Islamic Ummah”, said the scholars.
The Malaysian NGO condemned the hostile policies and actions of Donald Trump and former presidents of the United States of America citing their direct role in fomenting war, imposing cruel sanctions against nations, continuously threatening Islamic countries, assassinating resistance commanders, and openly supporting the crimes of the Zionist regime against oppressed nations.
The Malaysian clerics called on all scholars, thinkers, elites, and free people of the Islamic world to maintain unity, insight, and vigilance, to stand against the projects of global arrogance and to support the Islamic Resistance Front and take steps towards realizing dignity, justice, and a bright future for the Islamic Ummah.
