: Sunni Cleric
According to him, this is the long‑standing strategy of the enemies of Islam: divide and rule.

Mawlavi Seyyed Ebrahim Fazel Hosseini, a member of the Supreme Council of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, in an interview with the Taghrib News Agency(TNA), referred to the recent remarks of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran regarding the preservation of unity and solidarity among the people and officials.
He emphasized that a strong, dignified, and resilient Iran can only flourish in an atmosphere of cohesion and collective purpose. The enemy, he said, fully understands that as long as the nation and its officials remain united and steadfast against sedition and conspiracies, it has no chance of victory, and defeat becomes inevitable.
Hosseini added that conveying truths accurately and acting with sincerity are essential in safeguarding unity. Therefore, all groups and communities — including Sunnis, Shias, and followers of other religions and denominations — must act with awareness and responsibility in this regard. This Sunni scholar stressed that anyone, in any position or rank, who contributes to division or incitement must be confronted. Adding fuel to the fire of discord weakens the Islamic community and strengthens the enemy — a strategy historically used by adversaries of Islam: divide and rule.
The distinguished scholar from Khorasan noted that the Supreme Leader has consistently emphasized the need for vigilance in the face of sedition. The enemy exploits even the smallest cracks of division to undermine the credibility of officials and the government. Such attempts, he said, must be met with wisdom to prevent any rift between the people and the state.
In conclusion, he expressed gratitude for having a wise and farsighted leader at the helm of the Islamic Revolution. He stressed the importance of appreciating this blessing and overcoming contemporary challenges through unity and proximity. He reiterated that the Leader’s words serve as the final and authoritative guidance for the Islamic world.
