National Unity Shields Iran from Threats: Intelligence Minister

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s national unity makes it resilient to threats, Intelligence Minister Esmaeil Khatib said, noting that as long as the Iranian people remain united, no intimidation or orchestrated incidents can weaken or defeat the nation.

Addressing a cultural event on Tuesday, Khatib referred to the large public turnout on January 12 in support of the Islamic Republic and in condemnation of the recent violent riots, noting that throughout its history, Iran has repeatedly faced the crimes of terrorist groups and persistent efforts by enemies to undermine national cohesion.

He added that adversaries have spent decades attempting to weaken a united Iran, but their efforts have consistently failed.

The minister said Iran’s enemies are well aware that, despite pressures and the bloodshed endured, the Iranian nation will never allow the country’s territorial integrity to be compromised.

Khatib stressed that as long as national unity persists, no threat—whether repeated warnings or staged incidents—can force Iran into submission.

Truth will always prevail and cultural works will preserve enduring chapters of the nation’s history for future generations, the intelligence minister stated.
