Any aggression against Iran amounts to attack on Islam

A senior Iraqi cleric has condemned the recent terrorist attacks in Iran calling for Islamic unity in the country.

Ayatollah Sheikh Hassan Jawaheri warned that any aggression against Iran amounts to attack on Islam urging the world Muslims to defend the holy religion in face of enemies, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

He said,” The Islamic Republic has once again been targeted by the enemies, a country that defends Islam, Muslims and the oppressed people of the world.”

Ayatollah Jawaheri condemned the recent attacks against Iran as blatant aggression led by the world arrogant powers and explicit efforts to weaken the stance of the Islamic Republic.

The professor at Najaf Seminary stressed,” The Islamic Republic is facing a plot to undermine Islam, tarnish its image and targeting of the countries that support the oppressed people against arrogant powers.

Ayatollah Jawaheri urged the world Muslims to defend the Islam manifested in the Islamic Republic.

The message by the Iraqi cleric follows a wave of terrorist attacks that targeted the different Iranian cities leaving hundreds of casualties and damage to public property.
