Followers of Imam Hussein (AS) Will Never Submit to Humiliation, Will Defeat the Enemy

:Hojjat al‑Islam Jazayeri in Interview with TNA

He emphasized that the Islamic Ummah will never accept humiliation and will ultimately overcome oppression.

In Interview with Taghrib News Agency(TNA), Hojjat al‑Islam Seyyed Nour al‑Din Jazayeri said that Imam Hussein (AS) is a source of blessing and unity among nations of all backgrounds and orientations. One of the unique characteristics of Imam Hussein (AS), he noted, is the deep reverence he receives from followers of various sects, religions, and nations—an influence that fosters cohesion and solidarity.
Jazayeri explained that Imam Hussein (AS) strengthens affection and harmony not only among Islamic schools of thought but among all humanity. This universal appeal, he added, is rarely found in other Imams—except in his noble descendant, the Promised Savior (may God hasten his reappearance), whose presence will spread the word of monotheism across the world.
The Qom Seminary scholar noted that followers of many religions in non‑Muslim countries, as well as various Islamic sects including Sunni communities, hold deep love for Imam Hussein (AS). This is because he has penetrated the hearts of humanity and played a pivotal role in preserving Islam and reviving the religion of his grandfather.
He added that both the birth and martyrdom of Imam Hussein (AS) contain divine mysteries. The Imam constantly saw himself as surrendered to the will of the Almighty, and for this reason, he willingly embraced martyrdom in Karbala so that Islam would endure and spread across humanity. Thus, the blessings of his existence are universal.
In conclusion, Jazayeri emphasized that Imam Hussein (AS) continues to gather people around his message and remains a symbol of unity. The global attention given to ceremonies centered on Imam Hussein (AS), along with the story of his life, martyrdom, and the captivity of his noble family, have become lessons for future generations. These lessons affirm that the Islamic Ummah will never submit to humiliation and will ultimately bring oppressors to their knees.
