Pezeshkian: The mentality of some European countries about Iran is not accurate and consistent with reality

The President, at the ceremony of receiving the credentials of the new Danish Ambassador, referring to some perceptions and conceptions formed in Europe regarding the Islamic Republic of Iran, said: "The mentality that has formed among some European countries regarding Iran is not an accurate mentality consistent with the realities of Iran, and I am confident that during your stay in Iran, you can closely observe the realities of Iranian society, culture, and civilization and play a role in correcting this mentality and conveying a more accurate and realistic image of Iran."

Masoud Pezeshkian, at the official ceremony of receiving the credentials of "Christian Aetzen," the new Ambassador of Denmark to the Islamic Republic of Iran, emphasizing the peace-seeking and interaction-oriented approach of the Iranian nation, stated: "The Iranian nation has always been a peace-seeking nation throughout history and has pursued peace, tranquility, constructive communication, and healthy interaction with other countries, and Denmark is one of the countries with which Iran seeks to develop relations and interactions."

The President, referring to some perceptions and conceptions formed in Europe regarding the Islamic Republic of Iran, stated: "The mentality that has formed among some European countries regarding Iran is not an accurate mentality consistent with the realities of Iran, and I am confident that during your stay in Iran, you can closely observe the realities of Iranian society, culture, and civilization and play a role in correcting this mentality and conveying a more accurate and realistic image of Iran."

Pezeshkian, emphasizing the readiness of the Islamic Republic of Iran to develop bilateral interactions and cooperation, added: "We welcome any cooperation, exchange of experience, and participation with various countries, including Denmark, in economic, scientific, and cultural fields, and we believe that the development of interactions in these areas can pave the way for deepening relations and strengthening ties between the two countries."

The President expressed hope that the new Danish Ambassador, during his mission in Tehran, can take effective steps toward consolidating and developing bilateral relations, and said: "I hope that during your stay in Iran, you will be successful in expanding the relations of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Denmark in all fields."

The new Danish Ambassador to Iran also, in this meeting, while expressing pleasure at the beginning of his mission in the Islamic Republic of Iran, stated: "I am pleased to be in Iran and have been impressed by the beautiful civilization, history, and unique culture of the Iranian people."

"Christian Aetzen," emphasizing his responsibility for conveying the realities of Iran to his country, said: "As the Ambassador of Denmark, I will try to convey an accurate, realistic, and fair description of Iran. I have this commitment and will fulfill it with complete sincerity."

Referring to his diplomatic mission to strengthen ties between the two countries, he added: "I hope to be able to play an effective role in the path of developing and deepening Iran-Denmark relations and to provide new grounds for expanding bilateral interactions and cooperation."

The Danish Ambassador further, referring to his country's principled approach in the field of international relations, stated: "Denmark is committed to multilateralism and the rule of law, and my mission will also be based on these principles."

He emphasized: "I will try, within the framework of my diplomatic responsibility, while strengthening mutual understanding, to help develop relations and interactions between the two countries."
