Yusuf Dhia-Allah

This is evident from the manner in which they have responded to the defeat of their mercenaries at the hands of Ansar-Allah in Yemen. They resorted to outright lies to delegitimize Yemen’s Islamic revolutionaries by accusing them of attacking Makkah and al-Madinah.
What possible benefit—military or strategic—would the Ansar-Allah gain by committing such a sacrilegious act? Both the ulama in Yemen as well as well as Ansar-Allah leader, Abdul Malik al-Houthi have said, far from attacking Makkah, they will defend it with their life and blood.
The Yemeni Armed Forces (YAF), erroneously referred to as “Houthis”, have made clear that they intend to liberate the whole of Yemen from the clutches of the Saudi mercenaries and end Bani Saud interference in their country’s internal affairs.
Last month, the Ansar-Allah made good on this pledge when they liberated the entire western coast of Yemen along the Red Sea from the clutches of Saudi-backed mercenaries. In three days (September 9-12), they reclaimed 5400 sq km of territory, surprising friends and foes alike.
Occupied by Saudi mercenaries during fighting in 2017 and 2018, they tortured Yemeni prisoners and carried out other atrocities against innocent civilians under their occupation. Lacking a unified command structure, the Saudi mercenaries are a patchwork of militias run by tribal warlords.
Like the Saudis, these mercenaries also lack conviction. Despite possessing huge quantities of weapons and other military paraphernalia, they are no match for the highly motivated Ansar-Allah fighters who are fighting to liberate their country.
For years, the Bani Saud thought they could decide who should rule in Yemen. In 2012, they forced the long-time president Ali Abdullah Saleh from power and handed it to Abdurabuh Mansour Hadi. He resigned in 2022 and was replaced by Rashad al-Alimi.
The Saudi-appointed “presidents” of Yemen reside in hotels in Riyadh. Since the Bani Saud are the paymasters, they decide who should be in power in Yemen but have failed to take into account the Ansar-Allah’s motivation and determination.
To understand the genesis of recent developments, we must go back to March 2015 when the Bani Saud launched a vicious war on the Ansar-Allah. The latter had taken control of Sana‘a, the capital city, driving the Saudi puppets from power in 2014. Hadi fled to Riyadh. The Najdi Bedouins considered this an affront to their hegemony in the Arabian Peninsula.
Acting as imperialists lite, they thought they would easily defeat the Ansar-Allah. The Bani Saud had the backing of the UAE, the US, Britain and France as well as hired mercenaries from Africa and South America. The mismatch was huge but the Ansar-Allah more than made up in motivation and conviction what they lacked in material possessions.
For nearly eight years, they fought the Saudi-led coalition to a standstill despite suffering a siege that prevented food and medicines from being delivered to the Yemeni people. An estimated 500,000 Yemenis, most of them children, have died of starvation or disease.
The Bani Saud’s inability to defeat the Ansar-Allah, exacerbated by differences with the Emiratis, ultimately forced them to agree to a UN-brokered ceasefire that theoretically went into effect in 2022. Under the deal, the Bani Saud were to lift the siege of Yemen and send humanitarian aid. There would also be an exchange of prisoners.
True to their treacherous nature, the Bani Saud did not fulfill their part of the agreement. While a tenuous ceasefire went into effect, the Najdi Bedouins continued the siege and plotted to undermine Ansar-Allah’s control over shipping in the Red Sea that had blockaded vessels delivering goods to the zionist entity during the war on Gaza (2023-2024).
The Ansar-Allah extended this control to Saudi tankers as well when the blockade of Yemen continued. The Bani Saud violated an Ansar-Allah red line by bombing Sana‘a airport in July. A Mahan Air flight was bringing back a Yemeni delegation from Tehran that had gone to attend the funeral ceremonies of Iran’s martyred leader, Imam Seyyed Ali Khamenei.
The Bani Saud perpetrated a war crime by attacking a civilian airport. The Ansar-Allah did not allow this to go unpunished. They retaliated by attacking the Saudi airport at Abha as well as the oil refineries in Jizan and Yanbu. At the same time, the Ansar-Allah routed Saudi-backed mercenaries from large parts of Yemen.
Embarrassed by these setbacks, the Bani Saud sought help from Pakistan, the US, Egypt and even Israel. With the exception of the latter, the rest politely turned them down. The Najdi Bedouins faced a dilemma: how to camouflage their defeat?
They resorted to the old trick of using the Islamic card. For years, the de facto ruler of Saudi Arabia, Muhammad bin Salman (MbS) has presented himself as a “modeniser” who has no use for Islam, suddenly discovered its utility.
While seeking help from the genocidal imperialists and zionists, the Bani Saud want to hide their subservience by accusing the Ansar-Allah of attacking Makkah and al-Madinah. The allegation is so outrageous that no sincere Muslim would fall for it. Regrettably, there are some simple Muslims that swallow such propaganda without thinking.
Before jumping to conclusion, Muslims should ask a few simple questions.
1: Are the Americans and zionists friends of the Muslims?
2: Do the Bani Saud really care about Islam; if so, why have they done nothing to help the people of Gaza and Palestine facing a genocide at the hands of the zionists?
3: Why are so many human rights activists languishing in Saudi prisons for merely asking for basic rights that Islam grants them?
4: Why are the Bani Saud so hell-bent on obliterating the historical sites of Islam in Makkah and al-Madinah?
5: Can committed Muslims be subservient to mushriks and zionists, the avowed enemies of Allah, His Prophet and the sincere Muslims?
Answers to these questions will clarify what the Bani Saud war criminals are upto.
