Thousands of protesters took to the streets of Geneva on Saturday to condemn the Zionist regime’s actions in Palestine, calling for an immediate end to the conflict in Gaza and the imposition of military and trade sanctions against Israel.

The massive demonstration, which centered on the heart of the city, saw participants marching for hours to demand an end to Israeli military aggression. According to a report by Reuters, protesters carried Palestinian flags and chanted slogans in Arabic, English, and French.
The demonstrators condemned the “ethnic cleansing” being carried out in Palestinian territories—a grave concern that the United Nations has repeatedly warned against.
Protesters also targeted Switzerland’s role in the conflict, chanting “Switzerland as an accomplice” and demanding an end to the hostilities in Gaza. Demonstrators criticized the Swiss government for its perceived indifference and support of the Israeli government over the past three years.

The crowd called for a total severance of all commercial, scientific, and cultural ties with Israel. Furthermore, they demanded an immediate halt to all Swiss military cooperation with the Israeli regime.
This protest follows a broader trend across the continent; in recent years, Europeans have frequently organized large-scale demonstrations to voice their opposition to the Zionist regime’s actions. Last month, solidarity movements were observed across various parts of Europe, including France, Sweden, and the Netherlands, through both major rallies and localized gatherings.
