: Sunni Scholar in an interview with TNA
Mamosta Mohammad Ali Foroutani, the Friday Prayer Leader of Mowchesh, in an interview with the Taghrib News Agency (TNA), called Sacred Defense Week a reminder of the three trenches of the Islamic Ummah's steadfastness, and while explaining the longstanding covenant of Sunni scholars with the revolution, described the President's speech at the United Nations as "the word of truth among the oppressors" and an exposure of the disgraceful crimes of America and Zionism.
The Friday Prayer Leader of Mowchesh, referring to the three sacred defenses of this nation, said: "The fighters of Islam in three sacred defenses – the eight-year war, the twelve-day war, and the Ramadan war – did not allow the pure soil of the homeland to fall into the hands of the unworthy, the ignorant, the colonialists, and the arrogant. We wish dignity and honor for all the fighters of Islam, and we ask for elevation of rank for all the martyrs and sacrificers."
The longstanding covenant of scholars with the revolution; from supporting the Imam to martyrdom in the path of the ideal
Reviewing the history of the bond between Sunni scholars and the Islamic Revolution, he stated: "In the very early days of the Islamic Revolution, Sunni scholars, alongside the great founder of the revolution, Imam Khomeini (may his soul be sanctified), declared that the Imam saved not only Kurdistan but all of Islamic Iran from the oppression of the Shah, and truly handed the fate of the nation over to the people themselves, bringing dignity and honor to Islamic Iran so that the great Iranian nation could decide for its own future, rather than having the future of this country determined by colonialists. That is why the great scholars of both Sunni and Shia, at the very beginning of the revolution, made a covenant of unity, solidarity, and harmony, and Sunni scholars supported Imam Khomeini."
Mamosta Foroutani added: "In the very early days of the revolution, a large number of Sunni scholars were martyred in the path of Islam and the revolution, because they knew well that Imam Khomeini's ideal was an ideal and school for defending the oppressed of the world and reciprocating against the arrogant; it would even save the countries of the region from the hands of world-devouring America and expel America from the region. The Imam of the Revolution knew well that America is not a well-wisher of the Islamic Ummah, and that this great Satan is the greatest colonialist in the world and seeks to plunder the property of the Muslim Ummah. After the passing of this great man of Islam, the helm of this ship of the Islamic Revolution was entrusted to the next righteous one, and Sunni scholars, just as they had made a covenant with the Imam of the Revolution, renewed their allegiance with the martyred Imam and always implemented his guidance."
The Islamic Revolution and the exposure of the face of arrogance; a warning of the fall of Islam and the promise of victory
The Friday Prayer Leader of Mowchesh, explaining the global fruits of the Islamic Revolution, noted: "The Islamic Revolution, during these three sacred defenses, offered many martyrs to dear Islam, and for this reason, God willing, it will be fruitful. From my perspective as a Sunni scholar, this revolution had a colorful fruit on the world stage, because it awakened the world, breathed the spirit of resistance among the freedom-seekers of the world, and exposed the true face of the world's arrogant and America's leadership to the people, because the people were truly unaware of the main mask of world-devouring America. This is how the importance of the Islamic Revolution for the world became apparent, and the nature of America as an aggressor and colonialist country was revealed. Today, everyone has witnessed with their own eyes that America places no value or credibility on the governments of the world, and its only priority is its own interest."
Warning about the fate of the Islamic Ummah, he said: "Today, America and the Zionist regime know well that as long as the Islamic Republic stands, they cannot encroach upon the Islamic Ummah and the Islamic nations. If, God forbid, the Islamic Republic falls one day, Islam will certainly fall, and a new and abrogated religion will certainly replace Islam. This is a warning, because distorted religions are like poisoned food and will certainly make a person ill. The only religion that has not been distorted to this day is the religion of Islam. But global arrogance will certainly never reach its goal, namely the destruction of the religion of Islam. The good news I must give is this promise of God in the Holy Quran that the Islamic Ummah is a victorious Ummah; let us have no doubt that one day America will leave the region and the terrorist Zionist regime will also be destroyed in this region."
The word of truth on the global tribune; from seeking justice for Minab to renewing allegiance to Wilayah
The Friday Prayer Leader of Mowchesh, regarding the President's recent stance at the United Nations, stated: "The dearest one is the one who speaks the word of truth among the oppressors." Our dear President at the United Nations truly expressed the words of truth worthy of the Iranian nation. The enemy intended to deceive the world and the dear Iranian nation, but the President, with documents and images, brought the martyrs of Minab and other oppressed, innocent, and civilian martyrs to the fore at the United Nations and showed the world that it was the aggressor country of world-devouring America and the terrorist Zionist regime that attacked the Shajareh Tayyebeh school in Minab and martyred more than one hundred and sixty-eight students; also, by attacking a sports stadium in Lamerd county, they elevated our athletes to the lofty rank of martyrdom. All of these were innocent and civilian. The President at that assembly sought justice from the international system and declared to the world that the leaders of America and the leaders of the terrorist Zionist regime are all criminals and must one day be tried in an international court."
In conclusion, emphasizing unity and insight, he added: "We once again, all Sunni scholars, renew our allegiance and covenant with the leadership of the revolution and remain firm on the same covenant we made – the path of the revolution, the path of Islam, the path of Imam Hussein (AS), and the path of the Holy Quran. If the enemy wants to create division among us, we must recognize the enemy well, which is America and the Zionist regime. Praise be to God, today they have been weakened in the region and have no credibility left in the Middle East, but this same hypocritical enemy can harm the Islamic Ummah through division. The vigilance of the fighters of Islam and the insightful, Wilayah-oriented, and ever-present people of Islamic Iran, alongside their nightly gatherings over these seven months, will certainly neutralize all the enemy's conspiracies. I ask Almighty God that all the fighters of Islam succeed and that the enemies of Islam, foremost among them world-devouring America and the terrorist Israeli regime, which is the same modern Dajjal, be destroyed; by the blessing of blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad."
