Pakistani Scholar: Western Powers Target Iran Because It Rejects the System of Modern Slavery

Speakers emphasized that the intellectual and practical foundations of Iran’s leadership are rooted in the Qur’an, the prophetic tradition, and the teachings of the Ahl al‑Bayt. They highlighted belief in God, justice, popular legitimacy, human dignity, independence, national honor, and support for the oppressed as the core pillars of this model of governance.
Gaza, Palestine, and Regional Resistance Reflect the Decline of Western Cultural Influence
Ayatollah Ghulam Abbas Raisi described the religious legitimacy of Iran’s leadership within the framework of representing the Imam of the Age. He said the Islamic Republic, under Ayatollah Khamenei, stands like a solid mountain against global hegemonic powers.
He identified the principles of “dignity, expediency, and wisdom” as key to the Islamic Republic’s success and likened Iran to a deeply rooted, resilient tree. Referring to statements by Donald Trump, he argued that U.S. policies reveal a clear desire for dominance, and that developments in Gaza, Palestine, and the broader resistance axis demonstrate the decline of Western cultural influence.
Akbar Issazadeh, Iran’s Consul General in Karachi, thanked the Pakistani government and people for their solidarity. He referenced Ayatollah Khamenei’s book “The 250‑Year‑Old Human”, noting that the ethical and governance qualities of the Prophet Muhammad can be clearly observed in Ayatollah Khamenei’s leadership—qualities such as justice, equality, unity, insight, and national cohesion. He also described the Leader’s guidance during recent sensitive and conflict‑ridden periods as decisive.
Western Media Present a Distorted Image of Iran
Saeed Talebinia, head of the Iranian Cultural Center in Karachi, highlighted key elements of Ayatollah Khamenei’s governance philosophy, stating that belief in God and reliance on divine guidance form its foundation. He identified independence as one of its central principles and argued that Western media portray a distorted image of Iran, whereas the reality is the strong bond between the Iranian people and their leader—clearly visible in public gatherings and national mobilizations.
He also referred to hybrid warfare, media operations, and foreign interference as contributing factors in recent unrest.
Ayatollah Khamenei’s Principled, Courageous Leadership Is a Source of Pride for the Muslim Ummah
Maulana Mahmood‑ul‑Hassan al‑Husseini of Jamiat Ulema‑e‑Islam described the Islamic Republic as unique due to its foundation in divine law. He argued that colonial powers target Iran because it rejects domination, division, and what he called the “system of modern slavery.”
International affairs analyst Talat Ayesha criticized U.S. and Israeli policies toward Muslim countries and described Ayatollah Khamenei’s principled and courageous leadership as a source of pride for the Islamic world.
Media analyst Maulana Naqi Hashmi emphasized the moral and spiritual dimensions of leadership, stating that without self‑purification, governance becomes tyrannical. He argued that Ayatollah Khamenei’s leadership is rooted in sincerity, ethics, and God‑centeredness, reflecting the example of the prophets. According to him, the Leader governs not through force but through public trust and moral authority.
Participants concluded that Ayatollah Khamenei’s governance model—grounded in the Qur’an, the Prophet’s tradition, and the teachings of the Ahl al‑Bayt—is coherent, effective, and inspiring for the Muslim world. They attributed the strong bond between the Iranian people and their leader to sincerity, insight, and service‑oriented leadership, describing it as a key factor in the failure of external plots.
