Leader of the Revolution: Targeting of Martyr President Al-Sammad was American, & Saudi Arabia bears full responsibility

Sana’a – Saba:

The Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, affirmed that the targeting of the martyred President Saleh Al-Sammad was American, and that the Saudi role was directly linked to the crime. These are confirmed details that reveal the fundamental truth of the American role.

In a speech delivered today on the anniversary of the martyrdom of President Saleh Al-Sammad, the Leader of the Revolution held the Saudi regime fully responsible for targeting Al-Sammad, as it is the leader of the aggression.

He said: “On the anniversary of the martyrdom of President Saleh Al-Sammad, we recall his great contribution to confronting the aggression and defending his people and their just cause. We also remember his exemplary model in assuming responsibility when he was serving as President of the Supreme Political Council.”

He added: “The foremost distinguishing quality of Martyr President Saleh Al-Sammad was his faith-based spirit in fulfilling responsibility, and his commitment to that spirit in his movement for the sake of God and in His cause,” stressing that Al-Sammad was characterized by responsibility, patience, integrity, humility, care for others, and tireless work day and night.

He pointed out that Martyr Al-Sammad was among the officials whom the enemy did not want to see in positions of leadership and responsibility, nor did the enemy want officials who are free, guided by faith-based responsibility, sincere advisers to their peoples, loyal to God and their nation, and committed to the just causes of the Ummah.

He continued: “We remember Martyr President Al-Sammad in tribute to his giving and sacrifice for the sake of God and his major contributions in serving the Yemeni people and the Islamic nation. Along with him, we remember all his fellow martyrs on the jihadist, faith-based, and liberation path of our dear people.”

The Leader of the Revolution noted that the Yemeni people have offered many martyrs in various positions of responsibility and on the battlefields against the enemies of God, humanity, and truth. He stated that Professor Ahmed Sharaf al-Din was martyred in the cause of God within the framework of the faith-based liberation path of the Yemeni people.

He explained that Yemen has sacrificed many officials as martyrs, foremost among them the martyred prime minister and his fellow ministers, as well as figures from the academic community. These sacrifices, he said, testify to Yemen’s steadfastness, resilience, and determination to uphold its just stance, just cause, and rightful grievance.

He described the martyrdom of President Al-Sammad as evidence of the injustice suffered by the Yemeni people and by the martyrs themselves, stressing that the Yemeni people’s grievance is among the greatest and most enduring injustices on Earth.

He added: “The injustice against our Yemeni people took the form of an aggression engineered by Zionism, overseen by the United States, Britain, and Israel, and carried out by the coalition led by Saudi Arabia, which bore the greatest share of this enormous burden.” He emphasized that the aggression against Yemen was indeed engineered by the United States, Britain, and Israel, and that the matter is so clear that the aggression was openly announced by the United States itself.

He noted that the American role in the aggression against Yemen has been evident from the beginning until today, and that the aggression coalition committed the most heinous crimes against Yemen, with mass killings and genocide continuing for eight uninterrupted years.

He continued: “The crimes against our people testify to the magnitude of the injustice—children, women, the elderly, and the young killed in cities, villages, occasions, markets, roads, hospitals, and everywhere.” He explained that the criminal and brutal targeting of Yemen reflected the coalition’s deep hatred toward the Yemeni people, aimed at breaking their will and morale.

Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi affirmed that the aggression coalition launched its war against Yemen without any right and committed the most atrocious killings, including crimes against prisoners and detainees—among the clearest manifestations of the Yemeni people’s suffering.

He said that among the injustices was the comprehensive destruction of homes, facilities, service, economic, and civilian infrastructure of all kinds, expressing astonishment that the aggression coalition even went so far as to target a shelter for the blind.

He stated that the coalition targeted ports and government facilities of all types across the provinces, even livestock and poultry farms, hundreds of mosques, historical and Islamic landmarks, and all forms of infrastructure and life, through hundreds of thousands of indiscriminate airstrikes.

He explained that another major front of the aggression was the siege and economic warfare, targeting the Yemeni people’s livelihoods. He noted that the coalition first sought to seize Yemen’s sovereign and oil wealth and deprive the people of it.

He stressed that oil sovereignty represented the greatest source of revenue for services and salaries, relied upon by successive governments to pay wages and provide essential services.

He also affirmed that the aggression coalition targeted Yemen by controlling most ports—especially in the occupied provinces—and banning air travel. He noted the severe restrictions imposed on ships and, at times, their complete prevention from reaching Hodeidah port.

He stated that the coalition sought to suffocate Yemen by fully blocking food and medicine, preventing fuel imports, and implementing multiple conspiracies, including against the Central Bank and its revenues, and against institutions and companies—under American engineering and supervision—while bombing factories, ports, markets, and farms under the banner of “economic targeting.”

He said that economic warfare, deprivation of sovereign resources, and various siege measures are still ongoing, alongside the occupation of large parts of Yemen, including most islands and territorial waters.

He affirmed that the coalition did not stop at occupation but sought to occupy all of Yemen, turning it into an occupied country and its people into an occupied population—stressing that without the Yemeni people’s resistance, all of Yemen would have been occupied.

He attributed Yemen’s steadfastness to the blessing of genuine faith-based belonging, which God granted to the free people of Yemen, enabling their resilience and making Yemen’s steadfastness a model for all generations in confronting an unprecedented aggression.

He described the scale of aggression as unparalleled in history—hundreds of thousands of airstrikes, comprehensive destruction, suffocating siege, and total targeting—adding that without God’s support and the Yemeni people’s faith, Yemen would today be an occupied and subjugated nation.

He noted that after consolidating control and occupation, enemies typically weaken countries, fragmenting them into conflict over trivial issues.

He said: “Had the Americans, British, Saudis, and their allies fully occupied our country, they would have exploited its strategic location for military bases and their ambitions, and looted its vast untapped resources.”

He stressed that Yemen’s oil wealth in Hadramout, Al-Mahra, and elsewhere is a target of American, Israeli, British, and Saudi greed, and that Yemen’s strategic location overlooking Bab al-Mandab and the Arabian Sea makes it a focal point for imperial ambitions.

He added that full occupation would have led to internal conflicts fueled by regional, sectarian, and racial divisions, draining the Yemeni people while occupiers controlled resources and decision-making.

He explained that when a people lack awareness, faith, and vigilance, they are easily dragged into manufactured conflicts while occupation and plunder continue.

He affirmed that enemies consolidate control and then exploit local tools in other conflicts, emphasizing that Yemen has the right to be free—not subjugated to Saudi Arabia, which itself is subservient to the United States and Zionism.

He said that the targeting of Yemen continues in all forms due to Yemen’s stance in support of the Palestinian people and against the Zionist assault on Gaza, and that regional tools—chief among them Saudi Arabia—act under American supervision.

He added that Saudi Arabia cares neither for Yemeni unity nor separation, but seeks total control, occupation, and domination over the Yemeni people and decision-making process.

He cited examples of Saudi manipulation of allied tools and decisions, noting that all such decisions are Saudi-crafted under American oversight.

He concluded by reaffirming: “The targeting of Martyr President Saleh Al-Sammad was American, and Saudi Arabia was directly involved in the crime. Saudi Arabia bears full responsibility as the leader of the aggression.”

He stressed that the United States targets the entire region within the Zionist project—either directly or through its tools—and seeks to ensure that those in high office serve American and Israeli interests, noting that no Arab or Islamic regime can replace Israel as America’s primary regional agent, regardless of how much it offers in money or services.

He said: “No matter how much Arab and Islamic regimes try to ingratiate themselves with the Americans, and no matter how much money and services they provide, they will never replace Israel as America’s exclusive agent in the region.” He pointed out that whatever services and funds the Saudi regime and other Arab and Islamic regimes have provided, and whatever aggressive conspiracies they have carried out in service of the United States, will not make them take Israel’s place.

He noted that the Americans seek to benefit from all roles, describing these regimes as being treated either like a “milking cow” or mere servants. He affirmed that Arab and Islamic regimes provide their services to the Americans from a position of servitude and subjugation—nothing more—and that the Americans exploit them to the extent they wish and benefit from them as much as they are able.

He added: “Those who adore Trump, adore the Zionists, and adore the Jews—none of that will benefit them in any way, no matter what they offer. For the Americans, Israelis, and British—for the Zionists—Israel remains a matter of exploitation and investment, accompanied by enduring hatred and conspiracy.”

He stated that at any time, the enemies either dispense with a given party that serves them or, based on calculations of interest, decide that eliminating it serves their interests—and they eliminate it immediately, without hesitation.

He continued: “Those who rush to serve the Americans and imagine themselves clever and brilliant because they have rejected the truths of the Holy Qur’an will ultimately discover their great loss.” He stressed that leaders who rendered extensive services to the United States were not spared when American interests dictated discarding, selling out, or abandoning them.

The Leader of the Revolution affirmed that American targeting is a targeting of the entire region within the framework of the Zionist plan, “Greater Israel,” and the reshaping of the Middle East.

He said: “Any free system, any free individuals, any free popular movement—the American seeks to eliminate it because he sees it as an obstacle to his domination and enslavement of the peoples of the region. We are a targeted nation, and even our choices of liberation, independence, and dignity are not the core reason for the targeting of our Ummah.”

He added: “Even with options of taming our Ummah—such as normalization and the banner of ‘peace’—our Ummah remains targeted by the Americans and Israelis. What the Americans and Israelis want is complete control over this region, its peoples, its wealth, its resources, and its geographic position.”

Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi paused at the American arrangements in the region, noting that they are not merely arrangements of “peace,” “normalization,” or “stability,” but aggressive arrangements against the Ummah, aimed at domination, appropriation, and exploitation.

He explained that the Israeli enemy continues daily killings in the Gaza Strip, that the siege persists, and that all forms of oppression, injustice, and torture against the Palestinian people continue, as seen in the West Bank, despite the Authority’s choice of “peace.”

He pointed out that the siege, restrictions, and all forms of suffering against the Palestinian people continue, especially during weather depressions and rainfall. He noted that the enemy practices all forms of assault in the West Bank—killing, systematic destruction, looting, theft, and the burning of crops, among other crimes.

He continued: “A full year of destruction in Jenin, and today a new declared campaign against Hebron—this is comprehensive targeting, daily torture, ongoing oppression, and continuous violations of the sanctity of Al-Aqsa Mosque with near-daily incursions. Sadly, this has become almost routine for Arabs and Muslims.”

He went on to say: “In Lebanon, despite the existence of an agreement, there are violations of airspace, ongoing killings, incursions, kidnappings, continuous airstrikes, and all forms of aggression. In Syria—despite the pro-American orientation of the groups controlling it and their readiness for normalization—there is continued violation of Syria.”

He added: “There is extensive violation and control over southern Syria, full violation of airspace, movement, incursions, and more.”

He affirmed that Israel, along with the United States, gives no weight to agreements—even those with guarantees, clear accords, and explicit clauses.

He asked: “When the announcement came about the second phase in the Gaza Strip, what did the Israeli and American sides implement in the first phase? What was the scale of violations and failure to honor commitments—despite the Palestinian side fulfilling its obligations, the Lebanese side doing the same, and the Syrian side giving everything to no avail?”

He said: “Then came the announcement of Trump’s council under the name ‘Peace Council,’ when in reality it is Trump’s council that seeks domination, thuggery, tyranny, money collection, and the seizure of the interests and wealth of peoples.” He stressed that Trump’s character needs no effort to explain; it embodies the Zionist orientation and American, Israeli, British, and Western greed.

He stated that the priority of Trump’s council for the so-called second phase in Gaza is disarmament—even the ordinary personal weapons of the Palestinian people. He affirmed that Trump has openly expressed his projects, dreams, ambitions, and desires for investment activities in the Gaza Strip and its territorial waters, including oil and gas resources.

The Leader of the Revolution noted that Trump’s council will not fulfill the hopes and aspirations of Arabs and Muslims—even for the regimes that joined it. It will focus primarily on American and Israeli interests, while exploiting others for benefit.

He said: “People will see the reality of Trump’s council in the coming phase, although matters are already clear. American thuggery is more blatant than ever, and the American and Israeli exposure of greed and ambition is unmistakable.”

He affirmed that the United States seeks to control Greenland, despite already having bases there and open access for economic benefit through Denmark and the island’s residents and authorities. He explained that America is not satisfied with presence and access—it wants full takeover. He described this as a major lesson and important warning for our Ummah, both peoples and regimes.

He added: “What the Americans do in Latin America is humiliation, oppression, repression of its peoples, and plundering of their wealth and resources. They were not satisfied with their thuggery and blatant aggression in kidnapping the president of Venezuela and his wife, while openly declaring that their goal is Venezuela’s oil, wealth, and strategic position.”

He explained that the United States has targeted countries in Latin America for decades through oppression, looting resources, and interference in all their affairs.

He said: “It is important for our peoples and the entire Islamic Ummah to realize that no matter what deceptive and false slogans the Americans and Israelis raise, the practical projects are something else entirely. Our Ummah will find no peace from America, from Trump, from Israel, or from the Zionist lobby worldwide.”

He described the American project in the region as one of targeting, appropriation, domination, and resource plunder, alongside the removal of any obstacles. He noted that American targeting of the Islamic Republic of Iran was intense but failed completely, and that criminal gangs collapsed.

He added: “There is full control over the situation in Iran, and America failed utterly there,” stressing the need for awareness and vigilance, and warning against being deceived by American slogans, no matter how much some regimes promote and hype them—they are merely deceptive titles.

He pointed out that success and prosperity for the Ummah come when it moves with free and independent will. Any activity within the Ummah that operates as an extension of the American, Israeli, or British agenda is unjust, corrupt, false, and brings no good to the Ummah—it is part of targeting it.

He continued: “Our refuge as Muslim peoples and Islamic countries in the Arab world is to move on the basis of our authentic faith-based and Islamic identity, to be a free Ummah. We must confront the enemies’ challenges and conspiracies by seeking God’s help, trusting Him, taking the necessary means, and rising as a free, independent Ummah.”

He affirmed that regardless of the scale of challenges, difficulties, and conspiracies, trust in God, acting according to His guidance, and adherence to faith-based identity will bring the Ummah God’s support and victory. He explained that this faith-based identity rests on great values and principles that make the Ummah free, aware, perceptive, not deceived by its enemies, and not submissive to them.

He concluded by saying: “The true hope for our entire Ummah is God Almighty—what He has guided us to and shown us—and that we move authentically within this correct path, without placing our hopes in our enemies.”
