Head of Iraq’s National Wisdom Movement warned against intensifying tensions across the globe emphasizing dialogue as the shortest way to protect region from escalation.

Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim said imposition of wills through force will put to danger the international peace and security, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
Expressing support for continuation of dialogue between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States, the senior Iraqi cleric called on Washington not to pursue adventurist calls to war stressing that tension is not in the interest of anyone.Al-Hakim asserted that tensions will only benefit the war merchants while the regional nations will pay the toll from their security and stability.
The leader of Iraq’s National Wisdom Movement concluded,” The stability of the Islamic Republic makes a pillar of the regional stability and Iran-U.S. negotiations is a necessity for protecting all from intensifications.”
The remarks by Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim comes as the U.S. has boosted its military buildup near the Persian Gulf waters amid the ongoing indirect nuclear negotiations with the Islamic Republic.
