Prominent Arab analyst Abdel Bari Atwan highlighted the recent remarks of Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, noting that the tone and confidence reflected in his statements are exceptional in the context of regional tensions.
In a video posted on his social media account, Atwan stated that Ayatollah Khamenei is not merely a political figure but also a religious leader whose words carry significant weight. He noted that the certainty expressed in the Iranian leader’s remarks is unusual compared to previous periods of regional confrontation.
Atwan added that this confidence is not rhetorical but based on concrete assessments. According to him, Iran has developed capabilities that give credibility to its strategic messaging.
