The Gulf nations’ spent billions of dollars to fight a non-existent enemy

The US spent the last 70 years building bases with sophisticated radar systems and different kinds of advanced interceptors in the Middle East. The Arab nations were told it was meant to defend them against Iran, which has not initiated a single war against any country in the last 400 years. The Gulf nations’ leaders have paid the US billions and billions of dollars in cash, kind, and investments in the US economy, believing the deal was real.

These bases are actually meant to encircle Iran with sufficient military power and render it very weak in defending itself against a long-term plan for Israel to destroy it and emerge as the unchallenged military power in the region. The bases in the region are never there to protect the Arab nations; they are there to facilitate the Greater Israel project. When they thought all was set, they moved in to start the final war, with two nuclear powers against one non-nuclear power.

To the surprise of the Gulf states, which have invested generational fortunes in the purchase of American radars and interceptors, these bases were obliterated by Iranian conventional power within the first few hours of the war. The bases that were supposed to protect the Gulf countries could not even protect themselves against Iranian old technology.

Beyond that surprise, there was something much more intriguing. As the radars were being serially obliterated in the Gulf states, the warning time of radars in Israel was reducing progressively from 30 minutes to 20, 15, 10, 5, and finally to 1 minute after all the radars in the 27 major bases in the Gulf states were destroyed.

Unknown to these Arab leaders, the bases in their countries were sited there to feed radars in Israel and protect only Israel. Iranian intelligence seems to have had that knowledge beforehand, so they focused more on those bases initially and later began retaliation against Israel after rendering the US bases useless, blind, and deaf.

What did the US do? They scrambled to South Korea to remove radars and interceptors meant to defend it against North Korea and bring them to Israel. The Gulf nations were as shocked as South Korea, but there was nothing they could do at that moment because it has never been about them, it is about the US and Israel interests.

This is a reality check for the leaders of the Gulf Arab vassal states of the US: the US has never been and will never be a reliable defense partner. There is always a different agenda behind their offer of help in nations’ security challenges, which can be extremely detrimental to such nations’ unity, security, and economic survival.
