Tunisian Researcher to TNA

Iran’s Experience: A Model of Unity and Rejection of Division
Referring to his visit to the Islamic Republic of Iran, Al-Kharrat said he witnessed firsthand the active role of scholars and religious institutions in promoting Islamic unity and countering division.
He noted that in Iran, scholars reject all forms of sectarianism and discrimination among Islamic schools of thought and intellectual orientations, working instead to raise the banner of Islam—something he described as a source of pride for the Muslim Ummah.
Justice
and Resistance: Qur’anic Foundations for Confronting Oppression
Al-Kharrat stressed that Islam has always called for supporting the oppressed and standing firm against aggressors. He explained that Qur’anic verses and Prophetic traditions form the ethical basis for confronting injustice, particularly Zionist oppression.
He cited several Qur’anic verses, including:
1-“Fight in the way of Allah those who fight you, but do not transgress…” (Al-Baqarah 190)
2-“Indeed, Allah commands justice and excellence…” (An-Nahl 90)
3-“Permission [to fight] has been given to those who are being fought because they were wronged…” (Al-Hajj 39)
He also referenced Prophetic traditions urging avoidance of injustice, support for the oppressed, and resistance against tyrannical rulers.
According to him, these teachings form the core of the Qur’an and the Sunnah, with the ultimate goal of establishing justice and confronting arrogance.
Iran and Its Effort to Act Upon the Qur’an
Commenting on the policies of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Al-Kharrat said Iran is known for its serious efforts to act upon Qur’anic teachings—especially the verse:
“And prepare against them whatever force you can…”
He described adherence to this verse as evidence of a deep understanding of the Qur’an and its call to responsibility and action.
Warning Against Media Warfare and Division
Al-Kharrat described the actions of the enemies of the Islamic Ummah—including spreading division through media and social networks—as deliberate attempts to distort
the image of believers and Islamic countries.
He said these methods are a continuation of colonial policies aimed at fueling discord and sectarianism.
He emphasized that confronting suspicious media outlets and acting upon the divine command:
“Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, and those with him are firm against the disbelievers and merciful among themselves”
is a collective duty.
The Role of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution in Promoting Unity and Resistance
The Tunisian researcher described the Leader of the Islamic Revolution as one of the most prominent defenders of proximity between Islamic schools of thought.
He noted that the Leader has issued clear religious rulings prohibiting insults to the sanctities of different Islamic sects and any action that fuels division—practical steps toward Islamic unity.
According to Al-Kharrat, the Leader’s emphasis on shared religious principles, strengthening Qur’anic authority, reviving the culture of Qur’an recitation and memorization, and working toward the formation of a new Islamic civilization based on love, tolerance, and rejection of discrimination are key features of this approach.
Admiration for the Iranian People’s Steadfastness
In conclusion, Al-Kharrat praised the steadfastness of the Iranian people in the face of threats and sanctions, saying that their calm, courage, and resilience reflect the continuation of Imam Khomeini’s path and are inspired by the light of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them).
