A member of Iran’s Assembly of Experts stated that today’s Islamic Iran is entirely different from the Iran of half a century ago, and that no regional or global development can take place without Iran playing a decisive role.

In an interview with Taghrib News Agency(TNA), Ayatollah Mostafa Olama, a member of the Assembly of Experts, emphasized that Iran’s global strength is a direct result of the Islamic Revolution.

He said: “We must look back to the pre‑revolution era to understand where we once stood and where we stand today. Our beloved Iran is now a major power with a unique standing in its region, while none of the regional agents of global arrogance enjoy such legitimacy.”

Ayatollah Olama explained that the Islamic Revolution severed the influence of global exploiters and brought full independence to the nation.
“Today, they sit on one side of the table, and we sit on the other. We do not retreat even an inch from the interests of our nation. This alone shows how incomparable today’s Iran is to the Iran of the past.”
Iran’s Role in Global Developments
He added that, as the late Imam Khomeini famously stated, no regional or global development can occur without Iran’s involvement.

Ayatollah Olama stressed that Iran’s power and independence have thwarted the schemes and hostile plans of the United States and the Zionist regime.
“For this reason, the American–Zionist axis continues its efforts to undermine Iran. Scholars and intellectuals worldwide must highlight the achievements and blessings of the Islamic Revolution and clearly explain Iran’s role to the people.”
