One of the Blessings of the Islamic Revolution Is the Return of the Ummah to Shared Foundations

Hojjat al‑Islam Amoli to TNA

Hojjat al‑Islam Seyyed Ali Hosseini Amoli, a senior scholar of advanced jurisprudence and principles in Qom, stated that scholars and intellectuals play a crucial role in explaining the goals of the Islamic Revolution.

He emphasized that they bear a significant responsibility in guiding public thought, especially at a time when media outlets actively shape ideas and narratives.
Speaking to Taghrib News Agency(TNA), he said that the Islamic Revolution of Iran follows the path and tradition of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
He added: “The Islamic Revolution minimized divisions and strengthened the elements of unity and proximity. In reality, the Revolution created the conditions for all Muslims to gather around shared foundations—especially the Holy Qur’an and the Noble Prophet—and to prepare the ground for the appearance of Imam al‑Mahdi.”
The Qur’an and Prophetic Tradition as Shared Foundations
Hojjat al‑Islam Amoli explained that one of the most important shared principles among Muslims is the life and tradition of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), who, according to the Qur’an, is the best model for humanity.
He stressed that scholars and writers have a major responsibility in clarifying the goals of the Revolution and guiding society’s intellectual direction.
“In today’s world, we clearly see how media outlets influence public thinking. Scholars must be as purposeful and active as those who lead the Revolution on the ground.”
Leader as a Unifying Force
He added that the current Leader of the Islamic Revolution guides the Ummah and serves as a model for Muslims.
“Through his conduct and character, he has conveyed to the world that unity and solidarity enable us to overcome any challenge or enemy. We will not allow our Revolution to be harmed.”
A Fatherly Leadership for the Ummah
Hojjat al‑Islam Amoli concluded: “The esteemed Leader of the Revolution continues the path of the Prophet and the great figures of Islam. Like a compassionate father, he has always outlined a clear roadmap for the Ummah so that people do not fall into the traps of the enemies of Islam. Having such leadership is a blessing, for he guides the Ummah with gentleness, wisdom, and care.”
