Iran’s Commitment to Religious Principles Has Made It a Target for Dominant Powers

Maulana Ibrahim Faizullah, one of the prominent Sunni scholars of Bangladesh, stated that Iran’s steadfast adherence to religious principles is the main reason behind the hostility and continuous pressure exerted by hegemonic powers.

According to Taghrib News Agency(TNA), Maulana Faizullah said in a televised interview that throughout its history, Iran has never bowed to oppression or tyranny and has always stood firmly on the path of truth and in support of the Ahl al-Bayt (AS).
He added that this unwavering commitment to religious and historical principles has made Iran a target of enmity for dominant global powers.
The Bangladeshi Sunni scholar compared current circumstances to historical events such as Karbala, emphasizing that resistance against injustice has always come with a price, and that the struggle between truth and falsehood has repeated itself throughout history.
Maulana Faizullah also pointed to the role of certain global powers and the silence—or even complicity—of some Muslim countries in these dynamics.
He stressed that awareness of history and religious principles is the key to confronting external pressures and preserving Iran’s religious and national identity.
