Sheikh Masoud Rahbar, the Sunni Friday Imam of Bandar Lengeh, stated that the Islamic Revolution, through the special dedication of the late Imam and subsequently the current Leader of the Revolution, became a guiding light for unity within the Islamic Ummah.

In an interview with Taghrib News Agency(TNA), Sheikh Rahbar emphasized the pivotal role of leadership in fostering unity after the Islamic Revolution. He noted that the culture of unity, brotherhood, friendship, and solidarity flourished in the aftermath of the Revolution. “Now, forty-seven years after the Islamic Revolution, this strong and deeply rooted tree has matured and stands at its peak,” he said.
He added that the Islamic Revolution, through the dedicated efforts of the late Imam and later the Supreme Leader, has served as a beacon of unity for the Islamic Ummah. “Today, we must strive to strengthen and preserve this unity by keeping the ill intentions of enemies away from this land,” he remarked.
The Sunni scholar further stressed that the enemies of Islam have never ceased their efforts, and therefore unity must remain a central issue for the Muslim world. He called for firm and collective resistance against hostile rhetoric and divisive attempts.
In conclusion, Sheikh Rahbar expressed hope that under the banner of the Islamic Revolution, unity and brotherhood would continue to grow and expand. “We are living at a moment in history that presents an opportunity for growth and advancement. We must value this opportunity and work diligently to reinforce and sustain the Revolution,” he stated.
