IQNA – The Al-Azhar Electronic Fatwa Center condemned the recent production of a song insulting the Holy Prophet (PBUH).

They express moral and intellectual decadence that contradict the simplest standards of human and legal responsibility, it said, Youm7 website reported.
It is truly astonishing that those who are so impudent hide behind false slogans such as freedom of expression or artistic daring, while in reality, they commit a blatant violation and shameful mockery that has no intellectual value, cognitive content, or human message, but can only be described as moral corruption and the decline of civilization, the statement said.
“This is where the role of responsible and judicial institutions in ending this absurdity, preventing those who insult the sanctity of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), protecting society from inflammatory and hateful speech, and holding accountable those responsible for broadcasting, publishing, promoting and distributing such works becomes clear.”
The Al-Azhar Electronic Fatwa Center emphasized the need to adopt legal and technical measures to prevent the publication of works such as music, images or digital works that include any insult to the sanctity of the Prophet (PBUH).
“The greatest response to these insults is adherence to the religion of our Prophet, Muhammad (PBUH), and following his moral character and conduct in life, and adherence to the behavior and actions, justice and mercy of the Prophet.”
