TEHRAN - Following the increasing brutality of the Zionist regime in bombarding residential areas in the Gaza Strip, West Asia has witnessed an escalation in tensions. This is while Hamas dealt an unprecedented blow to the Tel Aviv regime that it has not seen since its establishment in 1948.
The Storm operation, launched by the Hamas resistance fighters on October 7, was pronounced as a “shock” to the Israeli leaders. It was a defeat with an unprecedented scale which led to the killing of some 1,400 Israeli settlers, more injuries, and over 200 captives.
The resistance fighters have attacked Israel, yet the Tel Aviv regime is exacting revenge on the innocent civilians in Gaza.
The shocking death toll in Gaza has surpassed some 7,000, mostly children and women. The released images of Palestinians in Gaza provoked public anger worldwide.
While atrocities against civilians have stirred up public anger against the Israeli leaders, some Western governments such as England, Germany, and France have fully supported the Zionist regime's infanticide.
Though the U.S. and Israel have shifted the blame on Iran because of their failures in the region, the Islamic Republic has been pioneer among the governments who have voiced their support for the oppressed Palestinians.
In its October 22 edition, the New York Times ran a story titled “U.S. sends more missile defense systems to Middle East”, quoting Biden who “warned Iran to not join the war”.
Referring to the sending of the U.S.S. Dwight D. Eisenhower aircraft carrier in the region under the control of CENTCOM, Andrés R. Martínez, the author of the article, says the deployment is intended to protect Israel.
This is despite the fact that the Western think tanks have repeatedly admitted that there are no signs of Iran's involvement in the Gaza-Israel war.
Ayatollah Khamenei, Leader of the Islamic Revolution, recently rejected Iran's involvement in the design or execution of the Storm operation, stating in one of his speeches that the movement is “entirely Palestinian”.
Nevertheless, Resistance groups in Lebanon, Yemen, Iraq, and Syria are strong enough to deal with the Israel issue, so claims seeking to link the Hamas operation to Iran do not seem logical.
As can be seen from the New York Times story, the resistance front is so strong that Biden has even warned the Zionists against war with Lebanon's Hezbollah.
Iran is not afraid of the deployment of missile air defense systems, warships or increase in the number of American marines in the region.
Though Iran has nothing to do with the Hamas operation, in case military intervention comes to Iran’s doorsteps, the Islamic Republic would act as it showered the Ain al-Asad military base with missiles that houses U.S. forces in western Iraq or shot down the Northrop Grumman RQ-4 Global Hawk.
Iran would not hesitate to target the U.S. ships and military bases if it comes under direct military intervention.
Iran and its allies control the region. The military might of Iran and its allies have turned the situation in their favor compared with the U.S. having a limited number of bases and warships in the region.
The deployment of warships, air defense systems and troops by the West in West Asia are intended to prevent the downfall of the Zionist regime.
The Leader of the Islamic Revolution also stated in remarks on October 25 that the continuous visits to Tel Aviv by Western leaders are due to the fact that the fake regime is collapsing.
There is no more room for threats and terror in the region by Westerners since some people in West Asia are waiting to participate in the war against Israel.
According to some security and political experts, the fate of the Gaza war heralds the fall of Israel and the end of the American occupation in West Asia. Anyway, we have to wait and see what happens!
