TEHRAN- The Iranian foreign minister and his Saudi counterpart on Sunday discussed the developments in Palestine, including the intensified Israeli military operations in the Gaza Strip.
The dangerous developments in Gaza and the need to establish a ceasefire were among the main topics of the discussions in the call between Saudi Arabia’s bin Farhan and Iran’s Amir Abdollahian.
The two sides also expressed concerns over the intensified Israeli military operations in Gaza and the surging number of civilian deaths.
Iran's foreign minister met with his Saudi counterpart in Jeddah during the OIC meeting in the current month. Both sides emphasized the need for joint efforts by Islamic countries to end the war crimes and genocide committed by the Zionist regime in Gaza.
