The White House promotional campaign against Iran is defeated

The United States Secretary of State, who is one of the symbols of assassination, violence, killing and disregard for international law, has accused the Islamic Republic of Iran of recent attacks in the Oman Sea. This charge comes from Mike Pompeo to Iran, the nature of the Trump government has long been outlined for the world's public opinion!

The reality is that the propaganda squad and the psychological warfare of US officials against Iran will fail this time. Recent statements by Mike Pompeo show that the US Secretary of State has been involved in a craft that he and other members of the White House have created.

“Taken as a whole, these unprovoked attacks present a clear threat to international peace and security, a blatant assault on the freedom of navigation, and an unacceptable campaign of escalating tension by Iran,” Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said, vowing the U.S. would defend itself and its partners.

Interestingly, Mike Pompeo called for the cooperation of the members of the UN Security Council in negotiations with our country! This comment comes as the White House officials over the past two and a half years have not been essentially following multilateralism in the international system. When they left the nuclear deal with Iran and re-imposed unlawful and cruel sanctions against the Iranian people, they showed that they were not reliable at all. Also, actions such as the withdrawal from the Paris Pact by the Trump, or the violations of the NAFTA Treaty in North America, have shown that Washington is in delusion! The president of the United States thinks that it is the post-Cold War era and that Washington is absolute power in the world! However, recent Secretary of State remarks showed the White House is severely vulnerable. As time passes, Washington will be closer to the point of failure and collapse.

Ultimately, the Trump government will soon become one of the hallmarks of the United States' defeat in the world. Undoubtedly, the game of people like Mike Pompeo and John Bolton against Iran could not save the president of the United States from the current situation.

Youths are Iran’s greatest asset, scholar says

TEHRAN - Modjtaba Sadria, a prominent scholar, has said that the people between ages of 25 to 40 are the main social group in the Iranian society which form the main wealth of the country.

“Today, for the first time over the last 200 years, the youths between 25 and 40 years of age are the main group in the society. Today, our society has the youngest and most qualified population. It is a great and extraordinary situation,” he said during a speech at a conference in Isfahan on Thursday.

He said the youths and their capabilities should be used to boost the country’s economy and counter the U.S. sanctions.

“We should invest on our youths,” the scholar suggested.

Sadria added, “We should accept this fact that we should not rely on oil revenues anymore. The youths should be allowed to create jobs through relying on their own abilities and creativity.”

It is through small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that Iran can improve its economic situation, the scholar pointed out.

“You have heard about Japanese corporations such as TOYOTA, NISSAN, MAZDA and SONY. The biggest Japanese corporations constitute only 7 percent of Japan’s economy. Small and medium enterprises form the main part of Japan’s economy,” he explained.

President Donald Trump withdrew the U.S. unilaterally from the 2015 nuclear deal in May and ordered sanctions against Iran. The first round of sanctions went into force on August 6 and the second round, which targets Iran’s oil exports and banks, were snapped back on November 4.

‘Trump’s policies are cry of U.S. desperation’

Sadria also said that policies being adopted by U.S. President Donald Trump in quitting the international agreements and organizations are “cry of desperation”.

“I believe that Mr. Trump is not an expression of the U.S. power. I deeply believe that he is cry of desperation of the U.S.,” remarked Sadria, a psychoanalyst.

He added, “A year before the end of the Second World War, the representatives of Britain and the U.S. held a meeting in Bretton Woods and organized the international system after the war. This system includes the United Nations, World Bank and the International Monetary Fund.”

However, he said, the U.S. is aware that its influence on international affairs through these organizations has been weakened and that is why Trump decides to quit international deals and organizations such as the Iran nuclear deal (officially called the JCPOA) and UNESCO.

“The U.S. failures and inability should be an opportunity and lead us to become more capable. We should want to become capable. The U.S. lack of power should lead us to strengthen our greatest wealth which is our youths,” he noted.

During his presidency, Trump quit a number of international agreements such as the Paris Climate Agreement and Trans-Pacific Partnership, the UN Human Rights Council, UNESCO, JCPOA. On February 1, the Trump administration also announced that the U.S. will leave the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces (INF) Treaty.

Could Pyongyang Trust Washington?

The US, especially its Chief Executive, is talking of the possibility of another summit with the Leader of North Korea, while the American press continues its propaganda of portraying Pyongyang as a threat to Washington’s security – diabolical policies indeed which raise questions about the sincerity of the White House.

North Korean leaders are well aware of the fact that they cannot trust the United States. Having been deceived once before during Bill Clinton’s presidency regarding its nuclear projects, Pyongyang ought to be extra cautious of the feelers and intentions of Washington.

How could North Korea scale down its atomic nuclear weapons capability when the US shows no signs of reducing its own stockpile of doomsday weapons? 

Is the US prepared to practically dismantle part of its own weapons of mass destruction in order to prove its sincerity for peace, which requires withdrawal of its occupation troops from South Korea and other provocative acts of unwarranted military presence in East Asia.

In other words, the US is an unreliable partner, and it has long been one, even before Donald Trump withdrew from the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP), the Paris agreement on climate change, the JCPOA (Joint Comprehensive Plan Of Action) with Iran, and the 1955 Treaty of Amity with Iran (following the recent decision of the International Court of Justice against its illegal sanctions). 

Trump has also ended the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) with Canada and Mexico, and eventually a preliminary deal was reached out. The new name for the agreement will be the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA).

History is witness to the treaties that the US has signed but not ratified; signed and then unsigned, and even refused to sign after pushing everyone else to sign.

The Dotard in the White House thinks he is clever – all fools do – and might not realize the lasting damage he is causing to the US and to world peace, as villain of the piece in every matter.

Kim Jong-un knows better than to trust the US. The US has violated every treaty, every agreement, every accord, every pact, and every commitment it has made. In fact, it was the US that first nuclearized the Korean Peninsula in 1957 in violation of the 1953 Armistice Agreement.
If not for American meddling and greed to grab the lands of others, the Korean Peninsula would neither have witnessed war of 1950 nor its unnatural and illegal division in two parts at the 38th parallel – factors that are cause of the tension of the past seven decades.
Korea needs peace, and people on either side of the border, fed up with American mischief, are yearning for reunion, which the US doesn’t want.
North Korean Vice Chairman Kim Yong Chol paid a rare visit to Washington and met with Trump and other top US officials on Friday. Later on it was announced by White House that Trump will meet with leader Kim in February for the second time after they held their first summit in Singapore last June.
Over six months have lapsed since then and nothing concrete has come out. Diplomacy is a necessity in international relations but deceit is deplorable. All said and done, Pyongyang needs to be on full alert while negotiating with either Trump or his team.
