4 Decades after the Islamic Revolution: What are the reasons behind its Steadfastness?

BEIRUT - Four decades ago, this month, the Iranian people changed the history of their homeland. They all stood firmly to smash the Imperialist hegemony and its Shah Puppet regime. Since then, Iran has witnessed a fundamental change in its diplomatic and political stance.

This article responds to some critics who have recently claimed that if the Supreme Leader Sayyed Ali Khamenei were not orienting the country's policy, Iran would have a leading role in the world and would have solid ties with the United States and other countries. However, it must be said that Iranian political behaviour is rooted in the depth of its ideology.

The ruling system in Iran is not based on a figure himself and what he says but rather on the ideology of the Velayat-e faqih. This ideology has been established by the later founder of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Khomeini, who had originally derived it from the authentic and moderate Islamic teachings. The teachings that guarantee justice and equality for all, despite their gender, race, religion, view, etc. Under this system, the political stance remains firm and those who constitute a threat and show a hostile position against the revolution would always be enemies.

This distinctive regime is feared by the imperialists for its independence and strength. If we draw on an analogy between this regime and the other regimes in the region, we would obviously notice how the U.S. backs them. One might ask why them and not Iran? Well, simply because, from the very beginning, and in its core ideology, Iran has settled to safeguard its sovereignty, wealth and natural resources. Another reason is that Iran is ruled democratically by those members who the public have already freely elected.

On the contrary, the rest of the region's regimes are ruled by families, who the U.S. and the U.K. immensely back, for such regimes lack their free-will and for they are subjects of the imperialist dirty propaganda. They would never reject the American policy as this would lead to their overthrow. Besides, to serve their interests, those colonial powers turn deaf ears and blind eyes to the inhumane human rights violations committed by those autocratic governments against their fellow citizens.

In Iran, the government and the parliament are established through free elections. Accordingly, people say their word and express their voices and concerns. In addition, the leader is appointed neither forcibly nor arbitrarily but by the council of elites, according to a specific and objective criterion. Therefore, one to lead the revolution and to maintain its principles and bodies must undoubtedly be shrewd and wise enough to manage the Iranian domestic and foreign policies.

 Before 1979, Iran had social, cultural, political and economic affiliations with the U.S. and other European countries as Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, the former dictator, had been at their services. The Shah, then, made Iran the U.S.'s lactating cow in the Middle East. During his reign, the Iranians were governed by force and intimidation; their rights as humans were blatantly infringed. The majority were from the lower class and had been subjugated to preserve the interests of the powerful Bourgeoisie. They endured humiliation, oppression, and persecution.

Mohammad Reza Pahlavi had been the U.S. gendarme in the region and directed by the Zionist enemy against the resistance factions. Whatsoever, under his reign, the Iranian suffered from various and critical security, health, educational, civic, social and economic crisis. Class discrimination and injustice have been enough reasons to rebel and make an inevitable change.

The rise of the revolution in Iran caused a terrible shock to many regional, European and U.S. regimes. They had early perceived that this step would endanger their interests. Remarkably, none of them considers the Iranian people's interests and their hostility against the revolution has nothing to do with the mob's desires and aspirations.

 Frequently, the U.S. has tried to intervene to weaken the revolution, as what happened on the 20th of August 1953, 2009, December 2018. Nonetheless, the more the U.S. tries to shake the Islamic Republic, the latter stands firmly and ferociously. Further, the more the U.S. intensifies its inimical conspiracies against Iran, the more the Iranians show alertness and readiness to confront such unethical and imperialist practices. The U.S. still ignore that who safeguard this revolution are the people, their determination, their faith, and their resolution. Again, it is an ideological well-built regime, which no empirical might would be able to force it into surrender.

 The U.S. and other European governments' unfortunate support for the terrorist MKO, reflects the nature of this malicious conspiracy against Iran and those governments' dual-policy. They preach on democracy and claim that they are fighting terrorism, whilst it is vivid that they sponsor criminals and terrorists such as Mariam Rajavi and her followers, who have committed scores of atrocities against innocent people.

The world must remember that despite the prolonged arbitrary sanctions and the U.S. and some Arab countries' provoked war, the Baathist troops were humiliated, defeated and forced to retreat. The imposed economic sanctions turned out to be an opportunity for the Iranians to implement the golden rule: The necessity is the mother of innovation. Unequivocally, today Iran is among the world's top advanced countries at various industrial, scientific, technological, agricultural, medical and surgical, etc. levels.

 Military speaking, Iran is now able to defend itself through its mighty home-made ballistic missiles. In Syria and Iraq, Iran has shown unprecedented capabilities in the fight against the NATO-backed terrorists, along with the governmental and popular resistance movements there. So, while Iran defends the oppressed innocent civilians, other countries spend trillion dollars-worth of logistical and military to support radical and fanatic terrorist groups.

In a similar vein, the violation of Iran’s nuclear deal by the U.S. is yet another stance of aggression against Iran, despite the fact that it was ratified by five European countries and endorsed by the UN Security Council. Meanwhile, Trump is insistently and persistently trying unbridge the gap between the Iranians and the American people, who reject his and their consecutive administrations' colonial policies. The Americans are pretty much aware how, for at least 40 years, have been paying taxes to cover the wars' expenses led by Washington and its unlimited payment for those who plan to spread anarchy and commit suicidal attacks in Iran, and the entire world, such as the terrorist MKO.

MKO and some U.S. affiliated Iranian dissents are like a worm in its cocoon; literally captured in the world of wishes and dreams and rely on an illegitimate and aggressive agenda, which Tehran so far have been accommodated to and ready to smash at any time. Indeed, this self-proclaimed opposition, that the U.S. back by each and every means, is well-aware that the suspicious protests in Iran are to some extent held as a result of the U.S. economic pressure and sanctions. Those dissents, under the pretext of saving the mother, are obviously killing her instead.

The American politicians should have so far acknowledged that this spectrum in Iran is a complete failure and an unmatched dream. Their reputation in Iran is notorious, particularly after the recent abruptly detention of the US-Iranian Journalist Marzieh Hashemi and their predetermined involvement in the murder of the Saudi Journalist Jamal Khashoggi. The Iranians today, the revolutionaries and their sons, after 4 decades of the honourable revolution are stronger and steadily driving their homeland towards a prosperous and bright future.

40 years – Iran is standing firm

On the 40th anniversary of the Ten-Day-Dawn that marks the triumph of the Islamic Revolution that liberated Iran from domestic despotism and foreign hegemony, we present you an interesting article that appeared on the Counterpunch website, titled “40 years – Iran is standing firm”.

The writer is investigative American journalist Andre Vltchek, a philosopher, novelist, and of Czech origin, who was born and grew up in Russia He has covered wars and conflicts in dozens of countries, and is author of the book “Exposing Lies Of The Empire”.

Why should I care whether Iran has nukes? It most likely doesn’t, but even if it does… it never attacked anyone, never overthrew any government, and never performed experiments on human beings. It had not committed a single genocide, and never dreamed about conquering the world.

So why should I even bother to think much about Iran’s nuclear program, big or small, “peaceful” or defensive?

If Iran is capable of defending itself – then excellent; I am only happy! At least it will not be wiped out from the face of the Earth, as happened to its unfortunate neighbors Iraq and Afghanistan or to a bit more distant but not more fortunate countries like Libya.

Do I want this great, ancient Iranian culture to become defenseless and to eventually disappear, to be destroyed, or to get replaced by aggressive Western consumerism, arrogance and pathological lack of compassion? Or more concretely: Do I want Iran to turn into yet another Western colony? I don’t! I want it to survive and to thrive. As I want great Chinese and Arab cultures to survive and flourish. As I want all cultures on Earth to survive and flourish.

But it seems that, as the Empire is on its final bellicose and ideological crusade, unless a truly independent nation begins to roar, unless it shows both its teeth and its missiles, it has almost no chance to survive.

Iran is roaring and it is also logically explaining where it stands. It has both guts and big heart.

Iran is asked to prove its “innocence”, all of the time. There are entire “international” (sponsored and handled by the West) organizations and commissions challenging its course, sticking their muzzles into Iran’s internal affairs.

Iran is told to comply, “or else”. Its tormentors insist on “transparency”, while themselves staying in total murkiness. They are above the law; in fact they are the law. In the world they created, they themselves don’t have to prove absolutely anything, while their victims are routinely challenged, scrutinized, cornered, bullied and humiliated. After suffering, after bleeding incessantly, it appears that Iran had finally enough. It is no longer willing to play this neo-colonialist game. It is now going public with its grievances.

Way back in 2015 (August 31 & September) at the “2nd International Congress on 17,000 Iranian Martyrs”, held in Tehran, I was allowed to speak right after the President of Iran, Hassan Rouhani, who gave a powerful speech about the terrorism in the region, saying: “Maybe for many people it is something new, but not for us… Today there are powers in Europe and the United States – they are silent about some terrorist groups, while supportive of others. Can we really win against the terrorism like this?”

I said after him, in my discourse, as I was designated a keynote speaker of the Conference: “You are being targeted because you are taking care of your people. Iran suffers similar attacks as Latin America. The Western imperialism tries to destroy virtually every revolutionary, socialist country. But the world is changing and you are not alone. As Latin America is not alone.”

Today, the US is openly supporting the MKO terrorists, whose victims are 17.000 Iranians; 17.000 human lives lost. And almost no one in the West seems to know! How convenient. How cowardly. How servile!

The West supports the Saudis, Qataris and other Wahhabi extremists. It had been arming Daesh. It already destroyed almost every socially oriented, moderate and secular nation in the Muslim world, from Yemen to Syria, from Egypt to Indonesia. Little surprise that independent-minded and proud Iran is now at the very top of the Empire’s hit list.

After all, Iran is standing by Syria and it is supportive of Hezbollah in Lebanon, and Hezbollah is the only true social force in that otherwise collapsing country; the only social force that incorporates several religious and ethnic groups. And it is locked in a dogfight with Daesh, and it fights Israel whenever Israel decides to invade Lebanon. That is why Hezbollah is also on that hit list of the West. The fact that Tehran is backing Hezbollah is yet another reason why Iran is ostracized by Washington, London and Paris. Tehran is simply frustrating some of the most outrageous colonialist plans of both North America and Europe.

It is time for the Western public to wake up and pay attention to the fact that thousands of common Iranian people are dying, have been murdered, for absolutely no reasons… both common people, as well as prominent figures, including some of the country’s top scientists.

When I was in Tehran over three years ago, I saw mothers and wives holding photos of their murdered loved ones, in terrible grief. I saw men without legs. I saw archive photos depicting aftermaths of countless horrific terrorist explosions, executed by the MKO terrorists, and by other pro-Western groups.

To me, all this was not new, but it is shocking nevertheless. I saw how the Empire has been murdering thousands, even millions of those who have been reluctant to succumb to its dictate – in West Asia, in Africa, Asia, and Latin America.

But here, in Iran, the West has been behaving with almost absolute ludicrousness. While torturing the country, it was shamelessly insisting that the entire world should actually fear it and despise it. Its propaganda against Iran reached crescendo. And while murdering Iranian people directly or through vicious sanctions, the West has been demanding from Tehran ever newer proves of its “guiltlessness”.

The entire situation would be grotesque, truly laughable, if those thousands of innocent people would not be dying. When I spoke in Tehran, my voice was shaking. I addressed the Iranian government and the academia: “We are all brothers”, I said. Then I recalled the US-sponsored coups in Venezuela, and few moments later, those thousands of innocent, slaughtered Iranian civilians.

I spoke about resistance to imperialism, about new powerful media outlets in Latin America, Russia, and China as well as in Iran itself. I told them about my 1.000-page book “Exposing Lies of the Empire”, depicting virtually all corners of the globe that have already been ravished by the West. I spoke about those fascist, fundamentalist doctrines behind such attacks. I told them what I saw, how devastated I have been, but also how determined to resist! And I concluded: “Why is Iran one of the main targets of the terrorists who are supported by the West? It is obviously because Iran is doing many of the right things, for its own people and for the world!”

Iran, one of the most criticized and scrutinized nations, is in reality one of the most peaceful and long-suffering countries on earth. The West has been tormenting the Iranian people sadistically, continuously and relentlessly.

Since the ancient Greek Empire, Iran (Persia) was continuously invaded and partitioned, although never fully colonized. In 1953 the US and Britain overthrew the democratically elected government of Prime Minister Dr. Mohammad Mosaddeq, a leader dedicated to social changes. During his government, the Iranian people were enjoying subsidized housing, good education and medical care. He also launched a comprehensive land reform. In order to improve life of Iranian people, he nationalized Iran’s oil industry. The British and the North Americans, of course, considered such behavior as unacceptable. Mosaddeq was ousted, and the tyrannical Shah restored to the throne. Cheap oil began to flow to the West, while thousands of Iranian people were savagely tortured and killed. The Empire later committed the same crimes in Indonesia (1965) and in Chile (1973), to name just two places.

After the Shah was forced to leave Iran in 1979 – by the popular grassroots movement led by Imam Khomeini – the West armed and encouraged Iraq to invade its neighbor, Iran. In 1980, a terrible war erupted. As a result, tens of thousands of people died.

When Iran decided to develop its peaceful nuclear program, brutal sanctions were imposed, destroying lives of millions, including women and children. Then the extremist terrorist groups were “put to work” by both the West and Israel. Their goal was to spread fear and devastation, and to murder Iran’s prominent scientists. Attempts to destabilize Iran are constant but had proven to be futile.

Shaken, injured but determined, Iran is facing vicious attacks calmly and with dignity. The more self-respect it radiates, the more vicious propaganda and loud barking are coming from the West, and the more chilling are the threats. The position of Washington, Paris and London is obvious (and it has been for centuries): non-Western countries have no right to defend themselves. They only exist in order to supply North America and Europe with cheap raw materials and labor. They cannot decide their fate. And there is no compromise on the table. Either a country fully submits to the Western dictate, or it is destroyed.

But Iran refused to accept such “arrangement” of the world. Too mighty to be out rightly attacked, it rose against Western global dictatorship. Of course Russia did, too. And so did China. Most of Latin American countries did as well. And now several African and Asian countries are also determined to join those who are refusing to kneel.

The West trembles: its dogmas are being challenged! And it does what it has been doing for many terrible centuries: it is trying to murder, to deceive and to trick. It is desperately fighting for being able to maintain its iron grip on the World.

It is no secret the West has been supporting Wahhabi extremists and militants and using them against Muslims, against countries like Turkey, against several Arab states, against the Soviet Union, China and now against Iran.

The Americans created Daesh in order to support their version of a “new religion”… They do it this way, covertly, because they would not dare to fight Islam openly, fearing a great backlash.”

In this regard, Finian Cunningham, renowned columnist from Northern Ireland, compared the operations of British death squads in his country to other acts of terror that the Empire has been spreading all over the world, including places like Yemen and Iran: “Illegal war of aggression against sovereign nations.”

Western propaganda is depicting Iran as some brutal religious dogmatic state, not as an enormous country of 80-million inhabitants that is re-inventing itself on the values of Islam. The world sees Iran not as it is, but as it is projected by Western media.

The powerful specter of a united, internationalist, and anti-imperialist block horrifies the West. That is why Iran is now under attack. That is why fascist gangsters are hitting Venezuela. That is why the imperialists are encircling Russia and China. That is why Western propaganda is demonizing all proud and noble countries around the world.

17.000 Iranian victims of terrorism sponsored by the West. More than one million victims since the West overthrew the progressive government in 1953. What a tremendous toll! But true freedom is priceless.

I maintain that Iran is standing! And it will not succumb to vicious and senseless attacks. It will never kneel, because it knows – surrendering would lead directly to slavery.

One is of course tempted to ask: how much is too much? How many people have to die, before the patience of the oppressed of the world runs out?

But I have to admit that the Western Empire increasingly disgusts me, as it terrifies billions of people all over the world. It already lost all breaks, all sense of decency. It already ruined and finished billons of lives, by spreading and forcing its propaganda.

That is why I feel that as long as Iran and countries like Iran are standing, so are we!

Iran Has Every Right to Upgrade Military Technology

Every country has the inalienable right to defend its national sovereignty, its territorial integrity, its religious principles, its cultural heritage, its industrial capabilities, its scientific achievements, its economic progress, its influence among the community of nations, and all aspects related to the interests of its people.

In order to defend these vital values and to deter any would-be-aggressor from undermining them, every country is entitled to develop and procure state-of-the-art military technology, without which its peace, security, independence, and progress would be at risk. 

As a matter of fact, God Almighty enjoins Muslims to be prepared for defence and grants permission to thwart the evil designs of the devilish powers run by satans in human form.

In view of these undeniable factors the Islamic Republic has taken giant strides in all fields including defence industries so as to ensure the strengthening of the country and transform it into a formidable bastion for protecting the life, property, and welfare of the citizens.

Faced with enemies intent upon harming Iran and the Iranian people, the Islamic Republic, which is the principal victim of terrorism ever since it ended American hegemony forty years ago, has taken commendable steps to become self-sufficient in the field of defence after the bitter experience of the 8-year war the US had imposed in 1980 through Saddam of the repressive Ba’th minority regime of Baghdad.

Today, Iran has mastered the sophisticated technology of building almost all sorts of armaments, including warships, submarines, jet fighters, drones, tanks, armoured vehicles, heavy artillery, ballistic missiles, and electronic warfare.

As Tehran continues to display during the current Ten-Day-Dawn celebrations marking the 1979 victory of the Islamic Revolution, the latest products in military hardware, the US, which with its stockpile of doomsday weapons is without the least doubt the incarnation of Lucifer, is indulging in wild accusations against Iran as if Iran is a danger to regional and international peace. 

Nothing could be far from the truth. Iran has never threatened its neighbours, let alone invaded them – at least for the past two-and-a-half centuries.

This is the reason the West, especially the US, is angry with the Islamic system of government in Iran. 

Today, as part of its enmity towards Iran and Islam, the US is openly supporting the MKO terrorists, whose victims are 17,000 Iranians, while cowardly backing the the Saudis, Emiratis, and other Wahhabi extremists. It had been arming Daesh. It already destroyed almost every socially oriented nation in the Muslim world, from Yemen to Syria, from Egypt to Indonesia.

No wonder, independent-minded and proud Iran which is now at the very top of the American Empire’s hit list, needs the most sophisticated means of defence. 

Iran is also standing by Syria and it is supportive of Lebanon’s legendry anti-terrorist movement, the Hezbollah, which is locked in a dogfight with Daesh, and it fights Israel whenever the Zionist regime tries to invade Lebanon. 

Thus, in view of these facts, Iran which is frustrating some of the most outrageous colonialist plans of both North America and Europe, needs strong defence.

To sum up, the Islamic Republic has every right to develop, test and manufacture defence requirements, including ballistic missiles and other means of sophisticated defence. 

Poland’s Ingratitude to Iran’s Historical Favours

Both history and the trend of current developments bear testimony to the fact that Iran has neither been hostile towards Europe nor tried to interfere in the affairs of European states.

Yet Europe has not just not reciprocated Iran’s goodwill, but has never missed an opportunity to strike at Iran and at the interests of the Iranian people.

Our intention is not to refer to the wily fox called Britain, which is the source of Iran’s sufferings from the beginning of the 19th century up to the present era, when despite the triumph of the Islamic Revolution in 1979 that ended US hegemony in Iran, London has continued to gang up with Washington to plot against the Islamic Republic. 

We are also not concerned here about France’s unending open hostility towards Iranian people, right since Napoleon backtracked on his military pact with Fath Ali Shah Qajar during the Russian war of 1813 to seize the southern Caucasus region from Iran, and the current asylum Paris has provided to MKO terrorists whose hands are stained with the blood of at least 17,000 Iranians including senior officials.

It is rather unfortunate that the latest European state to join the bandwagon of the Great Satan and its devilish clients scheming against us, is – of all countries – Poland, which ought to be called "an ingrate” in view of our goodwill towards its people not just during World War 2 when we hosted over 120,000 Polish refugees but during the 16th and 17th centuries when Poland was attacked at least on 75 different occasions by the armies of the Ottoman Empire and the Crimean Tatars, with whom the Safavids refused to join in the incursions into Christian Europe despite sharing a common religion.

Poland still has a few survivors who remember the 1942 exodus of Polish people to Iran via the Soviet Union, and how despite political instability and famine in Iran at that time, the Iranian people welcomed the refugees with smiles and generosity. 

The city of Isfahan, which hosted many of the Polish refugees, has still persevered the cemetery, complete with a Christian Church and crosses on graves, of those of the Polish people who passed away during their stay in Iran.

Yet, despite this record of Iranian hospitality and goodwill, Poland has willingly agreed to the US demand to play host in its capital Warsaw – after which a street in Tehran is named – to a criminal conference of all those opposed to the Islamic Republic of Iran, and that too on February 13 and 14, during the 40th anniversary celebrations marking the triumph of the Islamic Revolution.

In response to such ingratitude Iran had no choice but to summon to the foreign ministry in Tehran Poland’s Chargé d’Affaires, Wojciech Unolt, to sound strong protest is helping the US in organizing the anti-Iran circus.

He was told: "This is a hostile measure by the United States against the Islamic Republic of Iran, and Poland is expected to avoid assisting the US in holding the conference.”

It was obvious, Unolt could not provide any proper or satisfactory answer. His faltering words that Poland has a different stance that the US and does not conform to the recent remarks made by US officials, failed to satisfy Iranian foreign ministry officials.

He was warned that the government of Poland should immediately compensate for the move or else face Iran will "inevitably take reciprocal measures”.

For the information of Poland, the Islamic Republic of Iran reserves the right to respond in the proper manner and is keeping all options on the table, which might be used if such a scandalous gathering goes ahead. 

If Warsaw is really sincere in its policy vis-à-vis Iran, as Unolt claimed at the foreign ministry in Tehran, then it should summon the courage to tell the gangster Mike Pompeo and his thuggish boss Donald Trump the Dotard, that the said meeting is cancelled and Poland will not be a party to any anti-Iranian plot.

Ex-MKO Exposes Saudi Arabia’s Covert Funding of Iranian Terror Group

The spurious entity Saudi Arabia, created by Britain in 1932 for the desert brigand of Jewish origin, Abdul-Aziz Aal-e Saud, is actively backing terror activities against the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The following is an article in this regard by Chile-based journalist Whitney Webb for MintPress titled “Ex-MKO Exposes Saudi Arabia’s Covert Funding of Iranian Terror Group”.

The MKO terrorists, popularly known as hypocrites in Iran for their treasonous alliance with Saddam of Baghdad during the 8-year US imposed war of the 1980s, have over the years killed over 17,000 Iranians including senior officials in terrorist bomb blasts.

According to this terror group’s former head of security, Saudi intelligence helped fund the group by smuggling valuables like gold and Rolex watches into Iraq and Jordan for sale on the black market.

Though it had been suspected for years, testimony from a former high-ranking official from the MKO terrorists has confirmed that the group had been covertly financed by Saudi Arabia.

For decades, the minority Wahhabi regime of Riyadh, known for its general hostility towards Muslims – especially Shi’a or followers of the Prophet’s Blessed Household, the Ahl al-Bayt – contributed hundreds of millions of dollars in gold and other valuables to help finance the Marxist militant group, namely the group’s ultimate goal of instigating violent change of government in Iran and subsequently seizing power.

In an interview with the Jordan-based news outlet al-Bawaba, former MKO head of security Massoud Khodabandeh detailed the covert means through which the Saudis helped fund the group, including regional smuggling networks and black market transactions.

According to Khodabandeh, gold and other valuable commodities, such as Rolex watches, were shipped from Saudi Arabia to Baghdad and then sold on black markets in the Jordanian capital of Amman by Saudi-linked businessmen. The proceeds from those transactions were then placed in offshore accounts tied to the MKO and subsequently used to fund their operations.

Khodabandeh also recounted how the Saudis had even given the group a kiswa – the large black gold-embroidered drape that adorns the holy Ka’ba in Mecca. Manufactured at a cost of approximately 5 million dollars, kiswas are often worth significantly more than their cost of production given their religious significance.

The former MKO official also told al-Bawaba that he had personally overseen the transfer of valuables from Saudi Arabia to Baghdad that were then sold in order to fund the group.

In one instance, Khodabandeh had smuggled three trucks filled with gold bars from Saudi Arabia to Baghdad along with two Iraqi and two Saudi accomplices. He estimated that the gold contained in the trucks was worth nearly $200 million, all of which eventually found its way into MKO coffers for carrying out terrorist activities.

Khodabandeh also asserted that Turki bin Faisal Aal-e Saud, former head of Saudi intelligence, was intimately involved in the smuggling rings used to covertly fund the MKO.

Unsurprisingly, Turki bin Faisal has since become a vocal advocate for the group and has spoken at several of MKO’s conferences hosted in Paris.

Khodabandeh went onto to state that, while Saddam of the repressive Ba’th minority regime of Baghdad had once been the main patron of the MKO, Turki bin Faisal of the minority Wahhabi cult of Riyadh, has taken over as the main backer of the Iranian terrorist group in recent years.

He added: “MKO has become an organization run by Maryam Rajavi under the patronage of Turki bin Faisal Aal-e Saud.”

The former terrorist official concluded the interview by stating that the MKO had “changed from a terrorist military organization to an intelligence-based propaganda machine.”

Despite its past as a terrorist outfit responsible for the mass murder of Iranian citizens, the MKO has sought to change its image in recent years and reinvent itself as what it likes to call “a moderate” Iranian opposition group.

These efforts have grown in recent years despite the fact that the group has next to no support within Iran and has consistently been characterized as both “cultish” and “authoritarian.”

The MKO’s facelift from terror group to propaganda machine began in the 2000s, kicking into high gear after former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton had them removed from the US list of foreign terrorist organizations in 2012. The MKO’s propaganda efforts have since kicked into overdrive under the current US administration, given that President Donald Trump has sought to place “maximum pressure” on Iran with the ultimate goal of change of government.

The Trump administration is stocked with known MKO supporters, including Rudy Giuliani, John Bolton and Elaine Chao, who have received thousands of dollars from the group over the years.

Despite its record of killing innocent civilians, Western media horns have turned a blind eye to the fact that MKO terrorists have been trained by the US military in the past and share connections with Israel’s notorious spy network Mossad. The recent exposure of the terrorist group’s connections to Saudi Arabia have also unsurprisingly slipped under the media’s radar.

No French Terrorists in Iran, Why Free Rein to Iranian Terrorists in Paris?

What if Iran were to grant asylum to terrorist groups, and if such purveyors of terrorism had attacked the embassy of their own country in Tehran; let us suppose the French embassy; then what would have been the reaction of France?  

In such a case Paris, joined by other European states and of course, the US, would have raised a hue and cry against the Islamic Republic, subjecting it to all sorts of weird and wild accusations – for instance ‘Tehran is the chief sponsor of international terrorism’, ‘Iran ought to be isolated’, ‘we demand handover of all French dissidents on Iranian territory’, and so on.

These two paragraphs are just suppositions in view of the clean record against terrorists and terrorism of the Islamic Republic of Iran, which is the chief victim of international terrorism, sponsored by certain western regimes, including France, where some of the dangerous cutthroats and killers, whose hands are dipped in the blood of Iranian citizens, are based.

Yesterday on Saturday, a group of these terrorists attacked the Iranian embassy in the French capital, or maybe they were allowed by the regime of Emmanuel Macron to indulge in a token act of terrorism by raising a ruckus, throwing stones, breaking window panes and damaging property – in protest to Iran’s justified missile strike on headquarters of a notorious terrorist outfit in northern Iraq from where these criminals were staging cross-border raids on Iranian towns. 

This is not an unfounded accusation but an undeniable fact, as is evident by the belated appearance of security forces to rein in the terrorists until damage was done.

Moreover, the very presence in France of these lawless elements, including the MKO terrorists – all fugitives from justice in Iran – is a big question mark on the intentions and credibility of the French regime.
Unfortunately, despite the goodwill shown by the Islamic Republic over the past forty years, France has failed to reciprocate positively, as is borne out by the asylum it has granted to convicted killers of Iranian officials and ordinary citizens, while allowing these traitorous terrorists to stage public gatherings in Paris against Iran. 

Iran remembers that nuclear-armed France, playing second fiddle to the US, never missed an opportunity to prevent the Islamic Republic from proceeding with its legal IAEA-cleared peaceful nuclear project, and was part of the pressure group that forced the JCPOA (Joint Comprehensive Plan Of Action) on Tehran after duping Iranian negotiators to agree an unbelievable scale-down from 20 percent uranium enrichment to a mere 3.5 percent, plus unexplained time-barriers, and all this without the complete lifting of the illegal economic sanctions contrary to promises.

Now, following the unilateral breach of the JCPOA by the US in violation of its own commitments, though France says it continues to respect the international nuclear accord, it is dodging the issue of the unwarranted withdrawal of French Industrial giants, such as Total, Peugeot, and Airbus, from agreements signed with Iran, on the unconvincing pretext that Paris cannot stop them from precautionary measures to escape Washington’s vengeance. 

In addition, France, which has no right to meddle in Iran’s neighbourhood – for example Syria, where some terrorist outfits receive military and monetary aid from Paris – has tried to raise undue objections to the Islamic Republic’s stabilization efforts in the region, and has the audacity to call for limiting Iran’s ballistic missile capability and range, which is not more than 2,000 km, in contrast to the 6,000 long range French ballistic missiles, the real danger to world peace. 

Therefore, whatever the motives behind Saturday’s terrorist attack on the Iranian embassy in Paris, the message from the Islamic Republic is loud and clear. 

Iran wants peace and friendship with all world countries – except the illegal Zionist entity that has no right to prolong its precarious survival on Palestinian soil – but on no account will either allow terrorists to undermine its neighbourhood or bow to the dictates of neo-colonial powers regarding its right to develop modern technology, including nuclear, aerospace, missile, nano, stem cells etc. 

Pompeo’s mission to destabilize Iran

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, who carries a mission to establish a global consensus against Iran, spoke to an Iranian self-exile community in California. The summit, titled as (Support to Iranians Voice) was sponsored by America’s Foundation for Defense of Democracies, the foundation itself is sponsored by several well-known Zionist Americans.

Trump's administration is simultaneously working outside the country, aligning international societies that are against sanctions imposed over Iran. United States is currently taking every step necessary for expanding the consensus against Iran.

Currently there are more than 2 million Iranians living in the US, majority living in Los Angeles California. According to many American analysts’ prospects the major factions that intent to participate in the summit are majorly from pro-Shah’s regime Iranian-Americans, according to the analyst’s prospects nationalist Iranian-Americans did not have a positive response to attend the summit.

However analysts did not sit back and assessed the capabilities and the outcome of the summit, according to them Trump’s administration is doing their best to overload Iran under pressures from inside and outside, the summit is very well assessed to pursue Iranians that their domestic financial problems has a source outside Iran and that is by spending budgets and resources in regional conflicts such as Yemen, Palestine, Syria and Iraq. By this Trump’s administration will be able to wag a Psych-warfare against Iran. The administration was indeed successful, contracting MKO terrorists to carry on terror attacks in Iran, but failed to continue the process.

Does this mean US is preparing to wage a war against Iran? Some analyst believe that; yes it is, many others believe vice versa that, Americans don’t  have the intention to prepare a large scale war against Iran, and also are not even prepared for a new large scale war. Because first of all the American society is a lot more chaotic since the consecutive wars of Afghanistan, Iraq and Syria, and also from the other hand a war with Iran is going to be a lot more challenging.

In conclusion, analysts believe that  US is not going to waste time and resources to wage a war against Iran, but they will be spending more time to maintain terror led attacks against the Islamic republic as well as destabilizing Iran’s domestic security by unrests and sanctions that will pressure Iranians to arise against their legitimate government.
