Tehran, IRNA – Leader of Iraq’s National Wisdom Movement Ammar al-Hakim has strongly condemned the latest bomb attacks in Pakistan that left dozens of people dead, calling for more efforts to uproot terrorism across the world.
In a statement issued on Friday, Hakim denounced the criminal acts that target innocent civilians, and called on the international community, especially countries harmed by terrorism, to enhance cooperation to uproot it.
The attacks in Pakistan took place earlier on Friday, targeting religious gatherings in the southwestern province of Balochistan and the northwestern province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The blast in Balochistan ripped through a rally near a mosque in Mastung, which was held to mark the birthday anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa attack took place during Friday prayers in the city of Hangu.
