Small but noisy protests by Iranians living abroad have one common slogan among them: “Mr Trump please liberate us.”
Western media outlets—Global News or the CBC, for instance—have tried to amplify the number of protesters.
On January 13, they both claimed “thousands” participated in a rally in Toronto outside the US consulate.
The actual number was a few hundred.
Three days earlier (January 10), the media made similar fantastic claims about a rally in Montreal.
Monarchists waving flags from the Shah’s regime held a rally outside the US Consulate in Montreal.
Media reports said “thousands” participated.
Freelance journalist and human rights lawyer Dmitri Lascaris went over to see for himself.
He said there were no more than 300 people.
Video footage captured on his camera showed fewer than 300 but he was being generous.
Dmitri even interviewed a couple of protesters.
They were all begging the US and Israel to “liberate” them.
This does not sound like people who are confident of overthrowing the Islamic government in Iran.
True, these people cannot do so from Montreal, Toronto or Washington DC.
But the people who have indulged in terrorist acts inside Iran at the behest of the US and zionist Israel are a tiny minority.
They have murdered more than 100 security personnel and hundreds of civilians.
They have also indulged in arson setting properties, buildings, shops, mosques and ambulances on fire.
They have even beheaded people and shot a three-year-old girl in the arms of her father.
What kind of people would indulge in such ghastly behaviour?
Both American and Israeli officials have admitted that Mossad agents are operating on the ground in Iran.
Israeli heritage minister, Amichai Eliyahu boasted that Israeli agents are active in Iran.
These people know that the overwhelming majority of Iranians support the Islamic system.
This was evident from millions of people coming out in the streets of Tehran, Yazd, Isfahan and many other cities on January 12 pledging allegiance to the Rahbar, Imam Seyyed Ali Khamenei and support for the Islamic government.
The anti-government rioters, backed by the American CIA and Israeli Mossad, are a tiny minority.
They have been effectively neutralized, hence the threats by Donald Trump that he will take “very strong action” against Iran.
Iranian officials—both civilian and military—have warned that if attacked, Tehran will take effective action against the US and zionist Israel.
There are many American military bases in the region.
The Islamic Republic has warned countries hosting those bases that if they are used to attack Iran, it will retaliate against them.
The US has also ordered the evacuation of some military personnel from al-Udeid air base in Qatar.
This is the base that the Americans often use for carrying out attacks.
Today, Iran is militarily much stronger than it was in June 2025 when the zionists and the Americans carried out their criminal attacks.
The question that needs to be asked is, why is the US—or more precisely Trump—threatening to attack Iran?
He faces serious problems regarding the internal crisis arising from ICE agents attacking people throughout the US.
Second, the Epstein files and the dirt they contain about him hangs over his head like the Sword of Democles.
The indicted war criminal Benjamin Mileikowsky (aka Netanyahu) faces corruption and bribery charges.
Constant threats of war delays his trial.
Further, the threats of war against Iran also divert attention from the ongoing genocide of Palestinians in Gaza.
Should the evil duo—Trump and Netanyahu—make the mistake of attacking Iran, they will get a fitting response.
One hopes saner heads will prevail and it will not come to war.
