Palestine tops Rahbar's concern in address to Muslim ambassadors, guests of Islamic Unity Conference

Crescent International
With Zionist Israel’s barbarous onslaught on the besieged Gaza Strip continuing, it was appropriate that the Rahbar of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Seyyed Ali Khamenei would address the issue of Palestine.
In a meeting today with ambassadors of Muslim countries and participants of the Islamic Unity Conference in Tehran, the Rahbar emphasized that the Islamic Republic will continue to help the Palestinians without reservation.
He also called upon other Muslim countries to follow suit, describing Palestine as the greatest challenging facing the Muslim world.
Describing Tehran’s stance on Palestine as principled and clear, the Rahbar said: “Since the beginning of the Islamic Revolution, we have maintained this position. We have helped and will continue to help Palestine and the Palestinians without any reservation. We view this the duty of the entire Muslim world.”
He rejected attempts by Zionists and their enablers worldwide to “distort” statements by the Father of the Islamic Revolution, the late Imam Khomeini and Iranian officials about the elimination of Israel.
“We are in favor of Palestine and its independence and salvation, but the elimination of Israel does not mean the elimination of the Jewish people. We are not against them, as a large number of Jews live safely in our country.
“The elimination of Israel means the elimination of the fake Zionist regime. The Palestinian people—be they Muslim, Christian or Jewish—who are the original inhabitants of that land, should be able to choose their own government,” the Rahbar said.
They should also be able to “kick out the outsiders and thugs like [Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin] Netanyahu and run their own country, which of course will happen,” the Rahbar emphasized.
Stressing on the significance of unity among Muslim countries in resolving the Palestine issue, the Rahbar said: “Had Muslim countries maintained even the minimum level of unity, we would not have such dire plight of Muslims in the world today.”
More than 350 guests from some 118 countries have assembled in Tehran for the annual Islamic Unity Conference on the occasion of the birthday of the noble Messenger (pbuh). It is observed as Muslim Unity Week.
The Islamic Unity Conference is organized by Majma at Taqrib bain al Madhahib (The Assembly of bringing various Schools of Thought closer together).
The 33rd assembly was inaugurated on Thursday November 14 with an address by President Hassan Rouhani who also emphasized the importance of Palestine.
This year’s theme was “Islamic Unity in Defense of Masjid al-Aqsa”.
This was the second year in a row that the conference has chosen Palestine as the theme signifying its importance.
While touching on the enmity of US and Zionist Israel toward the Islamic Republic, the Rahbar said they were opposed to all Muslim countries.
He pointed to US President Donald Trump’s insulting remarks about the Saudis.
“The nature of Islam is based on the rejection of tyranny, arrogance and hegemony; therefore, they are opposed to Islam and all Muslim states in principle.”
The Rahbar cited US presence in the region as the main source of trouble, corruption and insecurity, and the formation of such groups as Daesh.
He called on Muslim countries to understand Washington’s “true and hypocritical face.”
The Rahbar warned that the US’ main weapon today is infiltrating sensitive centers, creating divisions among people, creating mistrust among governments and exerting pressure that giving in to Washington is the only way to resolve their problems.
“This weapon is even more dangerous than military and hard weapons,” the Rahbar warned.
The way to confront the enemies is to obey Allah’s command of resisting on the path of righteousness.
“Of course, this resistance will have hardships, but enduring these hardships is a righteous act and will be rewarded by Allah. Moreover, giving in to the enemy will have more hardships, and Allah will punish those who give in to oppression,” the Rahbar warned.
He also called for unity among people as well as cooperation between Muslim governments in various fields for the benefit of all the people.
Heads of Muslim organizations and governments should pay heed to these wise words.

Unity Week Special (2)

These days most Muslims all over the world are marking the Islamic Unity Week on the occasion of the blessed birth anniversary of the Messenger of Mercy, Prophet Mohammad (blessings of God upon him and his progeny). According to Sunni Muslims, on the basis of the narrations of the Sahaba, he was born on the 12th of Rabi’ul Awwal, while Shi’a Muslims who regard the accounts of the Prophet’s Ahl al-Bayt or Impeccable Household as more reliable, he was born on the 17th of this month.
Forty years ago, in order to bridge this 5-day gap and to bring the Islamic Ummah on the platform of solidarity, the Father of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Khomeini (RA) took the dynamic initiative of declaring the Prophet’s birthday as Islamic Unity Week.
We use this opportunity to study in brief some of the merits of Allah’s Best-Ever Creation. Please stay tuned for the second episode of the Unity Week Special.
Today, it is very unlikely to find a person who has not heard the name of the Prophet of Islam. He is undoubtedly the Messenger of Mercy and the Prophet of Peace. His name Mohammad (blessings of God upon him and his progeny), was mentioned in all the previously revealed scriptures to the Prophets of the past, such Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus and others (peace upon them). He was entrusted by God Almighty with the universal message of Islam for the benefit of all mankind. Today, Muslims, as those who claim to be his followers, call themselves, number almost 1.8 billion all over the globe, where his name is glorified day and night than that of any other person, as is evident by the Azan or the call to prayer that is recited from the mosques five times a day, and the ritual prayers that Muslims perform throughout the world.
The human being always seeks an exemplar to follow. Exemplars have a high status in education, psychology, management and so on. Islam has also paid attention to this fact. As we said yesterday in the previous episode of this series, God says in ayah 21 of chapter Ahzaab of the holy Qur’an, “Indeed, in the Messenger of Allah there is certainly for you an Excellent Exemplar, for those who look forward to Allah and the Last Day, and remember Allah greatly.”

This ayah addresses all Muslims in every age and place. It is obvious that the Prophet of Islam is the Finest Exemplar for every believer as long as the transient world exists. The holy Qur’an has not referred to his excellent characteristics. On the one hand he is mentioned as other persons; i.e. he lives like others, he eats food, he sleeps and so on. But, on the other hand, he is the unmatched jewel of creation which shines forever. Each and every deed and word of the Last and Greatest Messenger is an example to be emulated by the believers.
The Prophet lived a simple life. He worked like all other people. For instance during the siege laid to Medina by a combined army of pagan Arabs and Israelites, the Prophet rubbed shoulders with the rest of the Muslim defenders, in digging the ditch around the city, on the suggestion of his new companion, the Iranian, Salman Farsi. The Prophet, besides reciting the ayahs of the Qur’an to the people on their revelation to him through Archangel Gabriel, the emissary of God Almighty, used to engage in humour with his companions in a polite manner, as part of his policy of educating them and imparting to them the finesse of faith. He always encouraged people, in addition to cautioning them against the conspiracies of the hypocrites. In all fields, he was the epitome of perfection to be emulated by his followers.
The holy Qur’an says in ayah 4 of surah Qalam, “Indeed, indeed you possess a great character.”
The holy Qur’an even stresses that the Prophet owes his success in attracting the people to his kind and lenient manners and the fact that he was more loving toward them than their own parents. Ayah 128 of surah Tawba says, “There has certainly come to you a Prophet from among yourselves. Grievous to him is your distress; he has deep concern for you, and is most kind and merciful to the faithful.”
The Prophet of Islam would act very prudently and he was very quick in his decisions although he was the most forbearing of the people. He was the most generous. He would ear simple food and would sit on the ground like ordinary people. His disposition would impact every viewer. His silence was as instructive and impressive as his speech. Anas ibn Malek, his servant, says, “I was the servant of God’s Messenger. By God, he never uttered a scornful word to annoy anyone. He never reprimanded for anything and never disputed with me.”
The love and affection of the Prophet was a byword among people. Prophet Mohammad (blessings of God upon him and his progeny) would always ask about the state of his companions and if they were on a journey he would look after their family. If he didn’t see a person for three days, he would ask from his whereabouts. If the man had come on a trip, the Prophet would pray for him; and if he was at home the Messenger of Mercy would pay a visit to him.
Even the enemies enjoyed his mercy. During the battle the Arab polytheists had imposed upon the Prophet at a place called Badr near Medina, the Muslim defenders took control of the water wells of the region. They made ponds and filled them for consumption. When the enemies approached the ponds, the Prophet of Islam ordered the Muslims not to block their way but to let them avail of this elixir of life!
The justice of the Prophet of Islam was very famous in every aspect. He would even divide his looks among the attendees justly. This was stressed by his sixth Infallible Successor, Imam Ja’far Sadeq (AS) when he said, “The Messenger of God would divide his glances among his companions and would look at this and that justly.”
One of the congenial characteristics of human being is his logicality and reasonability. The Prophet too, invited the people on the same basis. Now, the Islamic Ummah is increasing in number every day. The Prophet of Islam staged the greatest revolution in the history of mankind.
The Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Khamenei, says, “Almighty God has ordered us Muslims to follow the Prophet. This following is in every aspect of life. That Great person, not in his speech, but through his behavior, way of living, interaction with people and family, dealing with friends, engagement with enemies and strangers, in his treatment of the poor and the weak, in everything he is the exemplar. Our Islamic society will be the perfect Islamic society, in the real sense of the word, only when it adapts its behavior with the Prophet’s behavior. If it is not practical to act 100% as he did- which is not- let us at least be similar to him; not the way that the opposite of his way of living rules in our life. Let us move in that line.”

Unity Week Special (1)

Trustworthiness is one of the most prominent characteristics of divine messengers. But, this was very obvious in the Prophet of Islam so much so that years before he was ordered by God Almighty to formally announce his universal mission of Islam, he was known among the people of Mecca and beyond as Amin or Trustworthy, and Sadeq or Truthful. Trustworthiness is the first and foremost virtue for the divine messengers as they are duty-bound to discharge the commandments of God and communicate His words to the masses without any blemish or shortcoming. The trustworthiness and honesty of the Prophet of Islam was so outstanding that it attracted the people towards his mission, although the powerful and rich infidels of Mecca strongly opposed him for fear of losing their their position and wealth. God says in ayah 21 of chapter Ahzaab of the holy Qur’an, “Indeed, in the Messenger of Allah there is certainly for you an Excellent Exemplar, for those who look forward to Allah and the Last Day, and remember Allah greatly.”
The Prophet’s way of living was so perfect and comprehensive that he was regarded as the Most Excellent Exemplar in every aspect of human life.
The Prophet would divide his time into three parts: The first part was dedicated to worship and prayer; the second part was dedicated to the family and fulfilling their material and other needs; and the third part was the special time for dealing with the problems of people and social engagements.
Family is based on love and kindness as God says in ayah 21 of surah Roum, “And of His signs is that He created for you mates from your own selves that you may take comfort in them, and He ordained affection and mercy between you. There are indeed signs in that for a people who reflect.”
Love and affection can compensate many defects in the marital life. The Prophet of Islam used to say: “The more a person’s faith increases, the more he expresses his love towards his spouse.”
This great personality used to recommend men to treat their wives kindly and affectionately. Once he said, “The man who has married a woman, should respect her. If he tells his wife, ‘I love you’, this will never leave the wife’s heart.”
As a matter of fact, the love of the Prophet for Lady Khadija (peace upon her), his first and only wife for 25 long years till her death, has been mentioned in the history of Islam. She was as a very virtuous and monotheist lady and he greatly respected her and even after her death used to glorify her. He would stress that no other woman could match Lady Khadija as she offered her entire wealth to the Prophet to use it in the way of God. The Prophet called a man’s work at home as charity and alms-giving. He told his cousin, son-in-law and divinely-designated Vicegerent, Imam Ali (AS), “O Ali! Serving the wife at home is the atonement of great sins and it cools down God’s wrath.”
The Prophet used to sit with the family and would say that sitting with the family is better in the divine court than staying and worshipping at the mosque. He has said, “A man who spreads the table, calls his wife and children and starts eating the food in the name of God and ends it with thanking God, God will send His mercy and forgiveness to them as long as the table is there.”
When his Immaculate Daughter, Hazrat Fatema Zahra and her husband Imam Ali (peace upon them) sought his advice for division of their daily work, the Messenger of Mercy said, “The housework will be done by Fatema and the works outside home will be done by Ali.”
Dear listeners, this does not mean that a man should always expect his wife to do the housework no matter how tired she is. There are other statements narrated from the Prophet of Islam that helping one’s wife with the house chores is very valuable and will have great reward in the divine court.
As for the children, the Prophet of Islam would always try to make them happy. He stated, “Anyone who gladdens a girl it is as if he had freed one of the children of Prophet Ishmael; and he who gladdens a boy it is as if he had shed tears for the fear of God.”
The Messenger of Mercy, Prophet Mohammad (Blessings and greetings of God upon him and his progeny) emphasized that the duty of parents begins with the choice of spouse. In other words, to have good and decent children we should first take care of choosing a decent and chaste wife. The Prophet said, “If any of you is engaged in raising his child it is better than giving half of his wealth everyday as alms in the way of God. You should choose good names for your children and leave them the best legacy through correct training.”
In the view of the Qur’an, the highest stage of lifestyle is “Hayaat Tayyiba” (Virtuous Life). For sure it is the lifestyle that the divine Prophets and Friends of God maintained. This concept has been mentioned in ayah 97 of surah Nahl, “Whoever acts righteously, [whether] male or female, should he be faithful, —We shall revive him with a good life and pay them their reward by the best of what they used to do.”
While the west exerts its utmost to confine religion in the personal life, it is essential to introduce the comprehensive social programs of Islam. Islam has instructions for all minutiae of human life and the Prophet of Islam has shown the best example for humans. Islam guarantees the human happiness both in this world and the Hereafter.

Historic 4th of November, Another Feather in the Iranian Cap

By S. Nawabzadeh

As predicted, millions of marchers took to the streets of Iranian towns and cities on the historic 13th of Aban (November 4) with vociferous chants of "Death to the US” to mark the timely takeover of the American embassy in Tehran 39 years ago by revolutionary students who caught spies in the process of shredding secret documents, and thus exposed to the free world the dirty work of espionage that is done at US missions abroad under diplomatic guise.
The "Second Revolution” as the Father of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Khomeini (RA), had called the historic move in 1979, nipped in the bud the American plot to topple the Islamic Republic in league with hypocrites, traitors, and anti-revolutionary terrorist elements.

Yesterday’s rallies, the largest of which was held in front of the former US spy den in the capital and covered by the foreign media as well, was a resounding slap on the face of the delusional Donald Trump who in a suicidal psychological move imposed yet another set of illegal sanctions on Iran on November 4 after having withdrawn criminally last May from the 7-nation international nuclear accord, on the assumption that his futile bid to block Iranian oil exports would force the Islamic Republic to renegotiate the Joint Comprehensive Plan Of Action (JCPOA) by agreeing to scrap its IAEA-monitored peaceful atomic energy project, dismantle its ballistic missile defence system, and leave Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Yemen, and Bahrain and the whole region to the mercy of US-supported terrorists and the hereditary terroristic regimes.

As the effigies of Trump went up in flames all over the country to remind the overgrown Lilliput in the White House of his quixotic quest, Speaker of the Parliament, Dr. Ali Larijani rightly remarked to a thundering applause: Donald Trump is too small to challenge the Iranian nation, and be assured Iranians will make the White House regret its decisions.
This was not rhetoric as is confirmed by the facts of the past forty years, to which the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, had referred a day earlier by taking note of the continuous victories of the Islamic Republic of Iran since 1979 over every plot Washington has hatched including invasion, aggression, sanctions, and propaganda.
Ayatollah Khamenei who safeguards Iran’s religious, national, cultural, social, political, scientific, and economic identity and prestige, was pointing to realities which the American analysts themselves admit by acknowledging the growing power and influence of the Islamic Republic for the stability of the region in contrast to the failure of the US to destabilize West Asia through terrorist outfits and client regimes.
The Leader was not playing with words as politicians who get elected for a term or two and then fade away from the scene do with eyes only on the people’s vote, while their hearts and intentions might not tally with what they speak.
As a loyal servant of Prophet Muhammad (SAWA) and the Infallible Imams of the Ahl al-Bayt, through sheer dedication to the dynamic teachings of Islam Ayatollah Khamenei has achieved the status of Ijtehad (independent reasoning on the basis of the holy Qur’an and Hadith), and then risen to higher degrees to become the Wali-e Faqih or the Supreme Jurist, who is always cognizant of the ubiquitous presence of God the Omnipresent.
This is where Trump stumbles and is constantly stumped whenever he tries to go for what he thinks a big hit against Iran, little knowing that the Iranian people are made of sterner stuff and never capitulate.

The US president is nothing but a demagogue and a characterless person as is evident by his lies, ignorance of realities, adulterous un-Christian affairs, ungodly withdrawal from Washington’s commitments to international treaties, and lust for wealth, which he extorts from the unelected, unrepresentative, and tyrannical Persian Gulf Arab regimes
Thus, in order to uplift the sagging morale of these murderous regimes, which on his instructions have sold their souls to the devil by entering into open alliance with the illegal Zionist entity, he has adopted a hostile posture against Iran, unaware of his own disgraceful end.
In the next and subsequent years, the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Iranian people will be celebrating on November 4, along with the capture of the US spy den in Tehran, the end of US hegemony in the region, stretching all the way from Afghanistan to Egypt, as Iranian arms and Iranian-trained popular mobilization forces wipe out American-trained terrorists and American-supported spurious entities for the sake of peace, security and stability of the whole neighbourhood.

Excuse Me, but Israel Has No Right To Exist

The Zionist entity called Israel is a spurious state planted on the soil of Palestine by the British in 1948 through the illegal settlement between the two world wars of hundreds of thousands of East European Khazar Jews, who had no connection, whatsoever, to the ancient Israelite tribes.
Since then Israel has embarked on a policy of state terrorism to seize more Arab lands and stockpile a dangerous nuclear arsenal with the help of the US, which has now forced Arab reactionary regimes to make common cause with the Zionists against most of the Muslim world. These Arab regimes, who do not represent the people they rule, have, to the agony of the oppressed Palestinians, officially recognized the illegal Zionist entity, which the Father of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Khomeini (God bless him) had said in clear words that “this cancerous tumour should be weeded out”. Beirut-based Palestinian researcher and political analyst Sharmine Narawani, explicitly says in one of her interesting articles “Excuse Me, but Israel Has No Right to Exist”.
The phrase “right to exist” entered my consciousness in the 1990s just as the concept of the two-state solution became part of our collective lexicon. In any debate at university, when a Zionist was out of arguments, those three magic words were invoked by him to shut down the conversation with an outraged, “are you saying Israel doesn’t have the right to exist??”
Of course, at an American university, you couldn’t challenge Israel’s right to exist – that was like saying you were negating a fundamental Jewish right to have…rights, with all manner of Holocaust guilt thrown in for effect.
Except of course the Holocaust is not my fault – or that of the Palestinians. The supposed program of ethnically cleansing Europe of its Jewish population has been so callously and opportunistically utilized to justify the ethnic cleansing of the Palestinian Arab nation, that it leaves me utterly unmoved. I have even caught myself – shock - rolling my eyes when I hear Holocaust and Israel in the same sentence.
What moves me instead in this post-two-state era, is the sheer audacity of Israel even existing.
What a fantastical idea, this notion that a bunch of rank outsiders from another continent could appropriate an existing, populated nation for themselves – and convince the “global community” that it was the moral thing to do. I’d laugh at the chutzpah if this wasn’t so serious.
Even more brazen is the mass ethnic cleansing of the indigenous Palestinian population by persecuted Jews, newly arrived from their own experience of being ethnically cleansed.
But what is truly frightening is the psychological manipulation of the masses into believing that Palestinians are somehow dangerous – “terrorists” intent on “driving Jews into the sea.” As someone who makes a living through words, I find the use of language in creating perceptions to be intriguing. This practice – often termed “public diplomacy” has become an essential tool in the world of geopolitics. Words, after all, are the building blocks of our psychology.
Take, for example, the way we have come to view the Palestinian-Israeli “dispute” and any resolution of this enduring conflict. And here I borrow liberally from a previous article of mine…
The United States and Israel have created the global discourse on this issue, setting stringent parameters that grow increasingly narrow regarding the content and direction of this debate. Anything discussed outside the set parameters has, until recently, widely been viewed as unrealistic, unproductive and even subversive.
Participation in the debate is limited only to those who prescribe to its main tenets: the acceptance of Israel, its regional hegemony and its qualitative military edge; acceptance of the shaky logic upon which the Jewish state's claim to Palestine is based; and acceptance of the inclusion and exclusion of certain regional parties, movements and governments in any solution to the conflict.
Words like dove, hawk, militant, extremist, moderates, terrorists, Islamo-fascists, rejectionists, existential threat, holocaust-denier, determine the participation of solution partners -- and are capable of instantly excluding others.
Then there is the language that preserves "Israel's Right to Exist" unquestioningly: anything that invokes the Holocaust, anti-Semitism and the myths about historic Jewish rights to the land bequeathed to them by the Almighty – as though God was in the real-estate business. This language seeks not only to ensure that a Jewish connection to Palestine remains unquestioned, but importantly, seeks to punish and marginalize those who tackle the legitimacy of this modern colonial-settler experiment.
But this group-think has led us nowhere. It has obfuscated, distracted, deflected, ducked, and diminished, and we are no closer to a satisfactory conclusion…because the premise is wrong.
There is no fixing this problem. This is the kind of crisis in which you cut your losses, realize the error of your ways and reverse course. Israel is the problem. It is the last modern-day colonial-settler experiment, conducted at a time when these projects were being unraveled globally.
There is no “Palestinian-Israeli conflict” – that suggests some sort of equality in power, suffering, and negotiable tangibles, and there is no symmetry whatsoever in this equation. Israel is the Occupier and Oppressor; Palestinians are the Occupied and Oppressed. What is there to negotiate? Israel holds all the chips. They can give back some land, property, rights, but even that is an absurdity – what about everything else? What about ALL the land, property and rights? Why do they get to keep anything – how is the appropriation of land and property prior to 1948 fundamentally different from the appropriation of land and property on this arbitrary 1967 date?
Why are the colonial-settlers prior to 1948 any different from those who colonized and settled after 1967?
Let me correct myself. Palestinians do hold one chip that Israel salivates over – the one big demand at the negotiating table that seems to hold up everything else. Israel craves recognition of its “right to exist.”
But you do exist - don’t you, Israel?
What Israel fears is “de-legitimization” more than anything else. Behind the velvet curtain lies a state built on myths and narratives, protected only by a military behemoth, billions of dollars in US assistance and a lone UN Security Council veto. Nothing else stands between the state and its dismantlement. Without these three things, Israelis would not live in an entity that has come to be known as the “least safe place for Jews in the world.”
Strip away the spin and the gloss, and you quickly realize that Israel doesn’t even have the basics of a normal state. After 69 years, it doesn’t have borders. After almost seven decades, it has never been more isolated. Over half a century later, and it needs a gargantuan military just to stop Palestinians from walking home.
The fact of the matter is that Israel is a failed experiment. It is on life-support – pull those three plugs and it is a cadaver, living only in the minds of some seriously deluded foreigners who thought they could pull off the heist of the century.
The most important thing we can do as we hover on the horizon of One State is to shed the old language rapidly. None of it was real anyway – it was just the parlance of that particular “game.” Grow a new vocabulary of possibilities – the new state will be the dawn of humanity’s great reconciliation. Muslims, Christians and Jews living together in Palestine as they once did.
‘Naysayers’ can take a hike. Our patience is wearing thinner than the walls of the hovels that Palestinian refugees have called “home” for three generations in their purgatory camps.
These universally exploited refugees are entitled to the nice apartments – the ones that have pools downstairs and a grove of palm trees outside the lobby. Because the kind of compensation owed for this failed western experiment will never be enough.
And no, nobody hates Jews. That is the fallback argument screeched in our ears – the one “firewall” remaining to protect this Israeli Frankenstein. I don’t even care enough to insert the caveats that are supposed to prove I don’t hate Jews. It is not a provable point, and frankly, it is a straw man of an argument. If Jews who didn’t live through the Holocaust still feel the pain of it, then take that up with the Germans. Demand a sizeable plot of land in Germany – and good luck to you.
For the so-called anti-Semites salivating over an article that slams Israel, ply your trade elsewhere – you are part of the reason this problem exists.
Israelis who don’t want to share Palestine as equal citizens with the indigenous Palestinian population – the ones who don’t want to relinquish that which they demanded Palestinians relinquish over 69 years ago - can take their second passports and go back home. Those remaining had better find a positive attitude – Palestinians have shown themselves to be a forgiving lot. The amount of carnage they have experienced at the hands of their oppressors – without proportional response – shows remarkable restraint and faith.
This is less the death of a Jewish state than it is the demise of the last remnants of modern-day colonialism. It is a rite of passage – we will get through it just fine. At this particular precipice in the 21st century, we are all, universally, Palestinian – undoing this wrong is a test of our collective humanity, and nobody has the right to sit this one out.
Israel has no right to exist. Break that mental barrier and just say it: “Israel has no right to exist.” Roll it around your tongue, tweet it, post it as your Facebook status update – do it before you think twice. Delegitimization is here – have no fear. Palestine will be less painful than Israel ever was.
