Najmeh Fatemeh, emphasizing the necessity of cohesion, she noted that the minor gap between different schools of thought should not be a barrier, but rather an opportunity for mutual understanding and spiritual growth.
She noted that the path to true unity lies in recognizing the shared devotion to the Prophet and his progeny, asserting that this common bond is the most effective tool against external attempts to fragment the Muslim world.
Regarding the role of leadership, she elaborated that the vision of the martyred Leader of Islamic Revolution, Seyed Ali Hosseini Khamenei, provides a guiding light for Muslims in India and beyond to transcend sectarian boundaries.
Referring to the essence of faith, she further noted that the love for Ahlul Bayt is a universal value that can unite all Muslims regardless of their jurisprudential differences.
It is through the practical application of these values that the Ummah can move from theoretical unity to a tangible, strategic alliance, she underscored.
Commenting on the impact of the martyred Imam's guidance, she underlined that his unwavering support for the marginalized and the oppressed has resonated deeply across the Indian subcontinent.
Elsewhere in her remarks, she stressed that the call for unity is not just a religious duty but a strategic necessity, emphasizing the urgency of a unified front to protect the dignity of Muslims globally.
As to the current challenges, it is remarkably essential for Muslims to reject divisive narratives and instead embrace a humanistic approach to faith, she underscored.
She further noted that the martyred Leader, Ayatollah Seyed Ali Hosseini Khamenei, called for a revival of the true spirit of Islam, observing that if the Ummah prioritizes love and unity over conflict, it will inevitably regain its lost glory.
The 40th International Islamic Unity Conference, organized by the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, will be held from August 27 to 30. This year's conference carries special significance as the first major gathering of the Muslim world following the martyrdom of prominent leaders of the Resistance Front, and will focus on the theme: "Islamic Unity in the Thought of the Martyred Imam, Grand Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Hosseini Khamenei" .
The annual Islamic Unity Conference is an international forum that brings together Muslim scholars and intellectuals from different countries and Islamic schools of thought to discuss challenges facing the Muslim world and explore ways to promote unity, understanding, and closer relations among Muslims.
