No enemy able to confront Muslims, If they act upon Islamic unity

Pakistani scholar

While the enemies of Islam are united in hostility against Muslims, many leaders of Islamic states have fallen into a slumber of negligence and seek the satisfaction of arrogant powers.

Mufti Muhammad Dawood, president of the Union of Scholars of Mahaz Karachi, Pakistan, speaking at the second international webinar “Islamic Iran: The Front of Islamic Dignity in Confrontation with the Zionist Regime” organized by the Qadimun World Assembly, said the Muslim Ummah today needs awakening, unity, and a return to the teachings of the Qur’an and Sunnah more than ever before.

Quoting the Qur’anic verse “And hold fast, all of you together, to the rope of Allah, and do not be divided” and the Prophet’s traditions on brotherhood and the unity of Muslims, he stressed that silence in the face of oppression is complicity in sin, and the Islamic Ummah must not remain indifferent to the crimes of the Zionist regime.

Mufti Dawood criticized many rulers of Islamic countries, saying: “While the enemies of Islam are united in hostility against Muslims, many leaders of Islamic states have fallen into a slumber of negligence and seek the satisfaction of arrogant powers. Yet the Qur’an commands us to prepare strength against the enemies of God and our own enemies.”

Referring to the catastrophic situation in Gaza, he added: “In this land, once the cradle of prophets, today calling the adhan has become a crime, and cities and villages have been destroyed. The silence of many Muslim rulers makes them partners in this crime.”

The Pakistani scholar emphasized the necessity of Islamic unity: “If Iran and Pakistan unite and spread the message of unity from pulpits, mosques, seminaries, and universities, no global power will be able to confront them. The 14‑century‑old sectarian differences should remain in books, while Muslims focus on commonalities and sacred values.”
