Palestine, Lebanon Have No Supporter But Iran: Analyst

IQNA – A Lebanese political analyst described the Islamic Republic of Iran as the sole supporter of the people of Palestine and Lebanon against the enemies.

Lebanese analyst Bilal Al-Lakkis

Bilal Al-Lakkis, who is a university scholar and researcher and member of the political council of the Lebanese Hezbollah resistance movement, spoke to IQNA ahead of the anniversary of the Al-Aqsa Flood Operation, which was carried out by Palestinian resistance fighters against the Israeli regime on October 7, 2023.

He said whenever the people of Lebanon and Palestine decide to stand up against the enemies, they see no one beside them expect the Iranian nation.

“I thank the Iranian nation from the bottom of my heart. (The nation has) endured all of these economic and political pressures - since the West and the arrogance world seek to destroy the Iranian nation- but it has remained steadfast and unwavering,” he said.

He added that the Al-Aqsa Flood Operation shattered all of the plans of the US, the West and the Israeli regime against the Muslim world.

Since then, the West and the Zionist regime have tried to turn the page in their favor again and that is why they have launched the devastating wars on the Gaza Strip and now Lebanon, he stated.

Al-Lakkis said the enemies seek to break the loops in the chain of resistance one by one and they consider Hezbollah to be the strongest before reaching their main goal, namely the Islamic Republic of Iran.

This is obvious from the hypocrisy of the West and the extent of Israeli crimes in Palestine, the Gaza Strip and Lebanon with support from Western governments, he said.

The analyst said, however, that the resistance has managed to stand against the Zionist regime and is not going to give up.

“With the grace of God, we will never allow Israel to reach its goals, destroy the Lebanese resistance and reach Iran,” he added.

The Lebanese scholar went on to say that Hezbollah will continue to support Gaza because the enemies are after breaking the link between Palestine, Lebanon, Syria and Iran but this is not going to happen.

“We are all united and in unison and will never separate from one another,” he said.

“We will sacrifice ourselves for the sake of unity in the Islamic Ummah, for al-Quds and sanctities, and for liberation of all of the oppressed people. We seek justice all over the world and with the blessing of the blood of the martyrs, all of our goals will be achieved, God willing.”
