Enemies of Mankind Trying to Destroy the Planet

God Almighty created this vast, wonderful, and beautiful world for the benefit of the best of His creation, mankind, so that the gift of the intellect on the basis of faith in Him, would inspire and encourage the human race not just for promoting peace, prosperity, and justice in harmony with the nature and environment, but also for the superior goal of striving to achieve the bliss of paradise, whose lasting beauty is beyond imagination.

And if this dynamic balance between human life and ecology were to be disturbed by the ungrateful and faithless among mankind then the resulting havoc of injustice, aggression, exploitation, breach of agreements, wars, bloodshed, and the destruction of the environment, most surely presents the picture of the more intense fires of the eternal inferno awaiting the devils in human form in the Hereafter.

If Donald Trump the despicable enemy number one of humanity is the prime example of a denizen of hell, there are other who do not lag behind him, such as those who have ignited forest fires in the Amazon, in Central Africa, and other regions of the world, where the blazes have increased temperatures to 220 degrees centigrade. 

The US president not just withdrew his country from the Paris Climatic Accord coupled with his criminal violation of the Joint Comprehensive Plan Of Action (JCPOA) and launching of economic terrorism against Iran, but has ordered the manufacture of more deadly nuclear armaments. 

In related news, many environmentalists were dismissive of the $20m the G7 offered to support firefighting operations in the Amazon.

The Amazon fires make the point that the world is facing a very serious crisis. But it is not just the Amazon, the world is also facing the destruction of other forests and ecosystems, resulting in the broader and rapid degradation of nature.

Scientists fear that this could produce cascading collapses of natural systems.

The Amazon forest is not just burning in Brazil but fires have also engulfed other areas of South America. Most of the fires ravaging parts of the Amazon rainforest, have been set by farmers and ranchers.

According to reports, there are more than five times as many fires in central Africa than the Amazon. While the fires are mostly confined to savanna, they could threaten the Congo Basin.

The Congo Basin is the second largest rainforest in the world. As the forest fires in South America’s Amazon rainforest blaze on, concurrent disastrous fires are raging in large swathes of Central Africa and parts of Southern Africa.

One of the regions at risk is the Congo Basin forest, the second largest tropical rainforest in the world. The majority of the rainforest is in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The region absorbs a great deal of carbon dioxide and hosts rich and diverse animal and plant life.

To sum up, as long as criminals and terrorists such as Trump and his ilk rule the roost, humanity cannot be saved from disasters, and the Planet would turn into a picture of hell, rather of paradise.

However, there should not be any despair, especially for the true believers, as practical proven by the Islamic Republic of Iran and the faithful in the region and around the world, who fearless of the satanic plots of the US, have faith in the Mercy of God Almighty, and are awaiting the reappearance of the Redeemer of Mankind to end corruption and oppression on Earth through establishment of the global government of peace, prosperity, and justice of Imam Mahdi (AS). 

Local US Terrorists Take Cue From Racist-Terrorist President

When an avowedly racist president indulges in unlimited economic terrorism against Iran, blatantly backs Zionist terrorism against Palestinians, openly assists with supply of more lethal arms the Saudi terrorism in Yemen, terrorizes Hispanic migrants to death for seeking better opportunities across the northern borders, and threatens to unleash terrorism on a grand scale in Afghanistan to slaughter at least ten million men, women, and children in a few days; how would white-skinned US citizens with barely suppressed racist terrorism in their veins, act in their own localities?

With frequent outbursts of terrorism, of course.

This was evident in El Paso and Dayton within 24 hours on Saturday/Sunday – the 250th and 251st incidents of mass killings in the US in only 216 days of the current year, making 2019 the deadliest in American history, with 169 days left for election year 2020 and far more deadlier days awaiting the ordinary citizens, especially those of colour, whom Donald Trump criminally derides.

In Dayton, Ohio, at least nine were killed dead and 16 hurt, while in El Paso, Texas, 20 were confirmed killed and 27 injured, and in both cases, a lone gunman indiscriminately sprayed people with gunfire. 

Many of the injured are reportedly in critical condition, which means the death toll is likely to rise. 

If official figures are to be believed, so far this year, more than 520 people have died in mass shootings and over 2,000 have been injured, all of which indicate the psychopathic nature of the US society from the top to the bottom.

The Dayton terrorist is said to have been killed by police in the entertainment district which he targeted, but his name, identity and motivation – despite the personal cards recovered from him along with the type of the undisclosed weapon – are not being disclosed by the white authorities to the public. 

As for the El Paso terrorist who massacred unsuspecting shoppers, he has been nabbed and reluctantly acknowledged to be a white-man venting racist violence on Hispanic people in the town (actually illegally occupied territory like the rest of the southern US states from Florida to California) which is very close to the Mexican border and is frequented by workers and businessmen legally crossing from Mexico.

It is an irony, or more properly injustice on the national scale, that local terrorists – although mainstream media never uses this term for them except in the rare case of a socially-wronged Muslim indulging in violence – are either killed in the shootout with police or put behind bars, but the top notch terrorists, such as President Donald Trump and his team of thugs who promote wars, bloodshed and terrorism around the world, are never denounced, let alone impeached.

Here we take the liberty to reproduce what we wrote in our Viewpoint Column of June 1st on the mass killing that happened on the Virginia Beach Municipal Center on May 31:
"…What has happened in Virginia, and what will happen in other places in the US in the coming days, and what happens routinely all over the country almost every day, with either white skin police psychopaths shooting to death a hapless Afro-American or a lone wolf gunning down shoppers, passersby, students at schools and colleges, and workers, are all proof of the terrorist mentality of the US, from the lower wrung of the society to the topmost echelons of the administration, which is notorious for its policy of state terrorism around the world.

"There is, however, a wide difference between everyday violence and deaths in the US, and the death and destruction the administration in Washington rains down on countries and peoples that do not follow American dictates. The ordinary killer – except for the murderous police personnel – is killed, caught, convicted and jailed, but the mass murderers who destroy entire nations like George Bush, Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld and others (Trump), are never brought to trial.”

We in the Islamic Republic of Iran express our condolences to the bereaved families of the victims of the Dayton and El Paso acts of terrorism, since we are not uncivilized, uncouth, ignorant, and inhuman like the US president to call the United States of America as a nation of terrorists and psychopaths.     

As we go to the press, unfortunately more acts of terrorism might be in the offing in the US, or by the CENTCOM terrorists spread from Afghanistan to North Africa, because, as we said earlier at the start of today’s Viewpoint Column, when the Chief Executive of a country happens to be an avowedly racist terrorist, then the rest of the nation is likely to imitate him, as per their own capabilities and in their own localities.

To sum up, as long as Donald the Dotard is not brought to justice for his crimes against humanity, and as long as US arms manufacturers in league with the greedy politicians continue to exploit the weird gun laws of the country (both for local supplies and export of state-of-the-art military technology), American citizens will continue to be killed – whether at home in shopping malls, clubs, offices, streets and schools, or whether as terrorists meddling in the affairs of Syria, Iraq, the Persian Gulf region, Afghanistan, and other places. 

US Economic Terrorism, Trade Wars Have Consequences

TEHRAN (FNA)- Iran’s Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif couldn’t be more accurate when he described new US sanctions against Iran as "economic terrorism," warning of “consequences" if the US keeps up its pressure against the Iranian nation.

In his words, "If the United States decides to cause so much pain on the Iranian people by imposing economic warfare, by engaging in economic terrorism against Iran, then there will be consequences. We don't differentiate between economic war and military war. The US is engaged in war against us, and a war is painful to participants. We have a very clear notion that in a war, nobody wins. In a war, everybody loses, [but] the loss of some will be greater than the loss of others."

This is not the first time that the US is torching the international order and it won’t be the last.

The US is no longer playing an internationalist role it used to play in trade and finance, security and environment. This new policy has had profound effects on global security and prosperity, while friends and foes bear the consequences.

Courtesy of the Trump administration, the US has torn up many international pacts. It has walked out of the nuclear arms control treaty with Russia, called the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces treaty, even if it risks sparking a new nuclear arms race.

To this end, Trump cares little if in his ruinous trade war with China there are also losers on both sides of the Pacific, or global markets grapple with a tariff war that seems to benefit no one or protectionism in the form of tariffs on Chinese goods is actually hurting the US economy, companies, and consumers. He likewise doesn’t care if the International Monetary Fund is warning that his trade wars and economic terrorism could sink business and financial market sentiment, derail global energy supply chains, and subtract the projected recovery in global growth.

Regrettably, Trump's one-man foreign policy, executive orders, disruptions, and measures against the rules-based international order are not limited to trade wars and economic terrorism. Under pressure from Washington, Japan and Russia are yet to formally end their World War Two hostilities. Japan refuses to conclude a peace treaty with Russia, which depends on the fate of the islands of the South Kuril Ridge. Tokyo refuses to guarantee that after a deal is reached the islands won't be populated by US military personnel.

In this hostile environment, if you think that's all there is to it, you are mistaken. The 11th Ministerial Meeting of the Arctic Council on May 6-7 in Rovaniemi, Finland, was all about "scientific collaboration, cultural matters, and environmental research trade" before the Trump administration pushed it off the cliff.

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo showed up and trashed the party by a brash speech plagued with lies and baseless accusations against Russia, China, and Arctic countries. He even threw the kitchen sink at the participants to make sure they didn't reach a formal Ministerial Declaration at the end of the long-anticipated meeting.

These are just some of the recent examples that discern how the Trump administration is doing everything it can to uptick the international order through diplomatic vandalism. They put in view how the US has become a rogue state and trashed its own leadership and engagement in international affairs. The US government is increasingly playing a confrontational role in the world, making sure countries do not get along with each other on any issue of regional and international concern.

This provocative policy is designed to maintain unipolarity and prolong geopolitical tensions in the Middle East as well. The disorders and distrusts the core axis of this policy has created, or the way regional institutions and treaties have been made obsolete, will only worsen in places like Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan and Yemen.

The official Washington should realize that in this hostile environment, other countries won’t sit on their hands. They will adopt a similar confrontational strategy toward the US and its wasteful agendas in trade, security, and energy. It makes no sense for other countries to conduct their activities in accordance with international law, regional security arrangements, and trade agreements, if the same shared commitment doesn't exist in Washington.

In response to Trump's decision to bin the nuclear deal and impose sanctions, Iran has warned to end its compliance with two particular obligations of the 2015 nuclear deal in coming weeks. Russia has slapped economic and financial sanctions on American businesses and officials, and might restart low-yield nuclear tests. China has imposed tariffs on American goods and might cut off rare earth minerals exports to the US as a countermeasure in the escalated trade conflict. Others are also imposing their own tariffs on American goods.

As it turned out, foreign policy changes along with circumstances. In most cases, many countries cannot control the behavior of Washington and its economic terrorism, trade wars, diplomatic shenanigans, and insecurity arrangements and policies, but they can always choose how they respond to them. Many are responding in kind.
