Serbian analyst highlights raising awareness on Palestinian situation

Tehran, IRNA — Vukašin Žunić, a member of the Student Front Activists Movement in Serbia, attaches importance to the dissemination of information about the status of Palestinians through uncovering the true nature of the Zionist regime. 

Žunić made the comments to IRNA on the sidelines of the 8th International Conference on Solidarity with Palestinian Children and Youths held in Tehran on Sunday. 

Touching on the Israeli-imposed war against Iran, he said that the Zionist regime proved that it is an entity seeking to spread war as much as it can in the region. 

"We show solidarity with the Iranian people," he said.

Elsewhere in his remarks, he hit out at US President Donald Trump for advocating for war in the world.

Over 100 participants from 32 countries attended the international event in Tehran on Sunday.

The event is held to commemorate Mohammed al-Durrah, a young Palestinian boy, killed by Israeli forces in 2000.

The international event features attendees from various countries, including Palestine, Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Lebanon, Turkey, Bangladesh, Tunisia, Serbia, Malaysia, and Zimbabwe, among others.
