Speaker urges all political factions to promote voter turnout

TEHRAN- Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, the Iranian Parliament Speaker, has called on all political factions to prioritize active voter participation in upcoming elections.

Speaking at a public session of the parliament on Sunday, Ghalibaf said that the people’s presence on Dey 9 is a testament to the Iranian people's unwavering support for the Islamic Revolution.

He echoed the Leader’s call for high voter turnout, saying that those who prioritize security, stability, and peace should actively promote participation in elections.

He stressed that unity and solidarity are essential in overcoming challenges and adversity.

Ghalibaf emphasized that the people's active participation in the upcoming election is a key factor in fostering national unity and progress.

"Passionate elections and high voter turnout determine the country's destiny," Ghalibaf declared.

Addressing the recent Israeli attacks on Gaza, Ghalibaf stated that the more crimes the Zionist regime commits, the closer it comes to its demise.

In a message of condolence to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Khamenei, the Iranian nation, and the family of General Razi Mousavi, who was killed in an Israeli airstrike, Ghalibaf warned that any attempt to target the resistance's commanders or infrastructure would result in severe repercussions for the United States and Israel.
