Iran condemns Israeli attack inside Jenin hospital as ‘organized terrorism’

Tehran, IRNA – The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson has strongly condemned a deadly attack by Israeli forces inside a hospital in the occupied West Bank, saying such heinous action pays the way for normalizing “organized terrorism” in the world.

“It is expected that the countries of the world will not be indifferent to Israel’s act of terrorism against a hospital in the Jenin camp and condemn this brutal behavior that can provide grounds for normalizing organized terrorism in the world,”  Nasser Kanaani said on Tuesday.

An Israeli hit squad, disguised as medical staff, entered the Ibn Sina Hospital in Jenin early on Tuesday and shot three Palestinian men to death.

Kanaani said that it was regrettable that supporters of the Israeli regime, who have put any kind of pressure on the oppressed Palestinian people, remain silent in the face of such blatant crimes.

Hospitals and medical centers have been a frequent target of Israeli attacks in Gaza since the occupying regime launched its genocidal war against the besieged Palestinian territory early in October.

The United Nations and human rights organizations have warned that the health system in Gaza has collapsed as a result, putting the lives of thousands of Palestinians at risk.
