TEHRAN - Mohammadreza Toiserkani, the representative of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution to the IRGC’s Aerospace Force, discussed the ongoing Palestinian issue in an interview with Iranian media on Saturday.
Toiserkani attributed primary responsibility for the ongoing genocide in Gaza to the United States.
While Gaza engages in direct conflict with Israel, Toiserkani underscored the U.S. role as the strategic mastermind behind this widespread conflict.
Diving into the details of Operation Al-Aqsa Storm, Toiserkani highlighted that this movement inherently rose from the spirit of Palestinians. He emphasized the strength and evolution of Palestinian resistance groups, noting significant advancements in training, planning, and strategic approaches during the unfolding of Operation Al-Aqsa Storm in the occupied territories. This showcased the resilience and self-sufficiency of the Palestinian people.
"The United States is the strategic architect behind the Gaza conflict," declared Toiserkani, placing primary responsibility on the U.S. for orchestrating the conflict. He noted, "Since the initial days of the conflict, the U.S. has assumed command, consistently vetoing UN resolutions and embodying the core of its policy."
Toiserkani commented further, stating, "As the world undergoes transformative changes and equations shift, the Gaza conflict will mark a historical defeat for the United States due to the policies they have adopted."
As the Israeli bombardment continues, over 70 percent of Gaza's homes have been destroyed, the Government Media Office reported. In Gaza, at least 21,822 people have been killed, and 56,451 have been injured in Israeli attacks since October 7.
Despite the grim statistics, the United States continues its aids to the Zionist regime. Recently, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu expressed gratitude to the administration of U.S. President Joe Biden for its continued support during the war, including the approval of a new emergency weapons sale, the second this month.
