Raeisi at 37th IIUC
TEHRAN, (MNA) – Iranian President Ebrahim Raeisi says that in dealing with the enemy, the option of surrender and compromise has been removed from the table and it should be replaced by resistance.
Speaking at the 37th International Islamic Unity Conference (IIUC) on Sunday, Raeisi considered the issue of unity as a critical matter that its importance is increasing day by day in the Islamic World, saying that today, the concept of unity is not limited to unity only in religions or geography, but also includes unity and cohesion to protect the interests of the Islamic Ummah.
The secret behind the victory of Muslims throughout history has been their unity and cohesion centered on the Qur'an and the Prophet, he said, adding that fulfilling the foreigners' wishes will cause regret.
Today, the domination system knows that the most important barrier against it is the Islamic Ummah, the Islamic Ummah believes in dynamism in their lives and considers stagnation as their death, the president continued.
Saying that the enemy does not want the Islamic Ummah to have unity and cohesion, Raeisi stressed that today, anyone who moves in the direction of unity is in the direction of the strategy of Islam, and if he tries to create division, he has moved in the direction of the enemy's strategy.
Stressing that paying attention to the freedom of the al-Quds and Palestine is the most important criterion for the unity of the Islamic Ummah, he emphasized that seeking to normalize relations with the Zionist regime is a sign of regression for any government, because it is the will of foreigners, this is a regression.
He went on to say that in dealing with the enemy, the option of surrender and compromise has been removed from the table, adding that the option of resistance should be used to make the enemy retreat.
