TEHRAN, (MNA) – Iran's national tennis team became the champion of Davis Cup Asia/Oceana in Sri Lanka after four successive victories.
The final match of the tournament was held Saturday between Iran and Pacific, during which Iran managed to win over its opponent with the result of 2-0.
In the group stage of the same competition, Iran had managed to win against Vietnam, Saudi Arabia and Sri Lanka, before advancing to the second world group.
The Davis Cup Asia/Oceana was held in Sri Lanka Tennis Association Courts on July 26-29 2023.
