TEHRAN, (MNA) – Women held a big gathering to mark Ashura on Sunday at Shah Abdol-Azim shrine in Rey in the south of Tehran.
Ashura Day is the 10th day of the mourning month of Muharram, during which the third Shia Imam, Imam Hussein, was martyred along with his companions in the battle of Karbala.
