Tehran (Qodsna) - In an exclusive interview with Qods News Agency, the former member of the Syrian parliament, Maria Saadeh, said on Wednesday that Palestinians are the original owners of the land of Palestine.

 

“Zionists pursue the Judaization of the holy city of Al-Quds (Jerusalem), and at the same time, they have committed crimes against Palestinians and slaughtered them in Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood and other locations of this city. Most importantly, occupier Zionists are distorting and pillaging the history and the culture of Palestinians,” Maria Saadeh added.

 

“The Zionist regime did not established based on democratic, civilized and cultural values, it was created based on occupation, ”the Syrian figure further explained.

 

Referring to the famous statement by Imam Khomeini that the Zionist regime is a cancerous tumor, Saadeh noted that “Israel is trying to challenge and divide Arab and Islamic countries.”

 

She then talked about the importance of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the region and its support for Palestinians.

Maria Saadeh also highlighted the role of martyr General Soleimani in current regional situation, saying that he changed the military equation in the region in favor of the resistance front.
