Leader of Palestinian Hamas resistance movement in Gaza, Yehya Sinwar, challenged the ‘Israeli’ occupation regime’s cowardice as he made an hour-long walking tour in most Gaza streets despite the occupation’s threats to assassinate him.
After a press conference in Gaza, Sinwar explained that “the biggest gift may be offered by ‘Israel’ is that I die as a martyr.”
Sinwar also unveiled that he wanted to take to the street for the first time after the Palestinian resistance bombed Tel Aviv, but the leadership advised not doing so to prevent ‘Israel’ from marketing his killing as an ‘achievement.’
In his conference, Sinwar challenged the ‘Israeli’ entity’s leaders as he said: “I will finish this meeting in ten minutes, and then I will be walking for half an hour in the streets. ‘Israel’ can make its decision and implement it.”
During the recent 12-day aggression against Gaza, ‘Israeli’ occupation leaders threatened to assassinate Sinwar. The brutal ‘Israeli’ campaign against the besieged enclave failed to make a single achievement.
‘Israel’ began the aerial bombardment of the Gaza Strip on May 10, after weeks of violence against Palestinians at the al-Aqsa Mosque compound, where ‘Israeli’ occupation forces and settlers attacked Palestinian worshipers, and in Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood, where the regime tried to force Palestinians out of their homes to build more illegal settlements.
The Zionist regime killed at least 232 Palestinians, including 65 children and 39 women, through its aerial bombardment of Gaza. Palestinian resistance groups responded with thousands of significantly improved rockets, which caught ‘Israel’ off guard.
