New Law Confirms Israel as Apartheid State

Thieves and hustlers like to give legal cover to their acts of larceny. This is what the Zionist racist entity (aka Israel) has just done. The Palestinians and people of conscience — whether of Jewish or non-Jewish origin — know this all too well since the illegal implantation of Israel on the land of the Palestinian people. Yet whenever Israeli apartheid is mentioned, apologists for the racist entity go berserk. They accuse Israeli critics of “anti-Semitism.” The new “Nation State law” confirms Israel is an apartheid state. Let us take a closer look.

Passage of the Nation State law on July 19 has codified into law the racist policies and practices of the Israeli State. It is not just any law; it is the Basic Law that defines the state. It is officially named “Basic Law — Israel as The Nation State of the Jewish People” and has become one of the state’s Basic Laws. In the absence of a constitution, it has constitutional standing (Israel is the only country in the world that has no defined borders, leaving room for perpetual theft of others’ land to expand!).

To be sure, the law was hotly debated. Such hardcore Zionists as Benny Begin (son of the former terrorist and Likud prime minister Menachem Begin) and another Likudnik, former defence minister Moshe Arens, initially supportive of the law, opposed it in its final form because the revisions were too toxic even for their taste. It was approved by 62 votes to 55, with two abstentions.

Let us examine some of its features. It says, “The purpose of this Basic Law is to secure the character of Israel as the National State of the Jewish People in order to codify in a basic law the values of Israel as a Jewish state” (emphasis added). Palestinians, who constitute 20% of the population inside pre-1967 borders, have been rendered stateless and without any rights.

“The right to exercise national self-determination in the State of Israel is unique to the Jewish people,” says the new law. Palestinians are excluded from exercising self-determination in Zionist Israel, something guaranteed under International Law. This is what blacks suffered in the US during slavery. Reflective of the toxic environment, Palestinian members of the Knesset who protested the law were physically ejected from the chamber!

Another article of the Basic Law states, “The state sees developing Jewish communities as a national value and will act to encourage, promote and establish them.” This provides not only legal cover to racism, inequality and exclusion of Palestinians but gives carte blanch to Zionist squatters (aka Jewish settlers) from North America and Europe to forcibly evict Palestinians from their homes, villages, and towns and take over their land to set up exclusively Jewish communities. How else does one define apartheid?

It goes beyond that. While Palestinians are rendered second- or third-class citizens, they are coerced into participating, without their consent, in the promotion of discrimination against them. They continue to bear all the tax obligations as citizens/residents but the Basic Law serves the interests of only the Jewish population. Again, like slaves in the US whose sweat and blood built the country, the white slave masters and the state acted to negate their identity and status. The Zionists are doing the same to the Palestinians.

We must also emphasize that the “Jewish population” does not refer merely to those living in Israel today. It includes Jews worldwide. Thus Palestinians who have lived on the land for thousands of years are denied basic rights, while Jews living anywhere in the world have full rights under the new law. They can come and occupy the Palestinians’ land by evicting them but the latter have no recourse to legal remedy anymore!

The “Basic Law” also imposes Hebrew as the sole state language. Arabic — language of 20% of the population as well as that of all other indigenous Palestinians — is being systemically erased. Again, like European colonialists in North America and Australia, the European usurpers of Colonized Palestine are also wiping out the identity, status, culture, and language of indigenous Palestinians.

The new “Basic Law” claims further that the entire unified Jerusalem is the capital of Israel. This violates international law as well as UN resolution 181 that call for the holy city to be an entity on its own whose future status must be determined through negotiations. As with its other practices, Zionist Israel is simply creating facts on the ground. That such acts are illegal is no bar to its racist expansionist drive.

The new law confirms Israel as an apartheid state, even worse than what existed in South Africa prior to its abolition in 1994.

It is time to restore the UN resolution that Zionism is a form of racism

In a strange combination of fascist ideas and ideology, the Israeli Knesset has passed the so-called Nation Law, going beyond the racist policy that Israel has continued to adopt in its direct confrontation with Palestinians in the territories occupied in 1948 and the Arabs residing in territories occupied in 1967. This is considered a very dangerous development in terms of adopting the idea of the Jewish people’s supremacy as identity remains legally monopolised by the Jews. As for the others, they are considered mere residents with no rights other than those granted to them by the Jewish state.

Many Israelis, including those who regard themselves as very right-wing and racist including Moshe Arens, Israel’s ambassador to Washington in 1982, and Yitzhak Shamir’s foreign minister, consider this law to be unnecessary and excessive. This is because the previous laws regarding the Jewishness of the state and Jerusalem as the united capital of the Jewish state is more than sufficient to determine the identity of the Jewish state, according to Haaretz. I am not referring to the Israeli left-wing or the parties opposed to Netanyahu’s government that voted against the law, but to right-wing forces and elites that considered the law a mere addition that Israel did not need to debate for over for seven years and pass with a weak majority.

Why, then, is this redundant law being passed on the last day of Knesset sessions before the summer vacation, which ends in mid-October? The new Nation Law fundamentally contradicts the provisions of the Declaration of Independence on non-discrimination between the residents and citizens of Israel. This is the document that the Israeli judiciary referred to in order to revoke a number of racist laws passed through the Knesset. They do so in adherence to the declaration, which stipulates that discrimination based on ethnicity, gender, or religion should not occur. The debate in recent months between the radical right-wing and the Supreme Court over some discriminatory racist laws, reaching the point of calling for the reconsideration of this court’s authorities, makes the new law a constitutional reference to the Supreme Court. It also becomes a reference for all courts to base its rulings on since this law is considered a part of the Israeli Basic Laws, considered Israel’s constitution.

 Jewish Nation-state Law: Why Israel Was Never a Democracy

In this context, it is noted that the Knesset passed a similar or supportive law two days before the Nation Law was passed. This similar law, proposed by Minister of Justice Ayelet Shaked, revokes the Supreme Court’s power to look into the appeals and petitions filed by Palestinians living in the territories occupied in 1967. It authorises the Central Court in Jerusalem to discuss administrative decisions made by the occupation authorities in the occupied territories regarding planning, construction, and restricting the travel of its Palestinian citizens. This reflects one of the most important issues related to the annexation of the West Bank in terms of the judiciary, as this judiciary in the Jerusalem court will control these matters if the West Bank is considered a part of Israel.

The new law will provide a legal basis for the possibility of annexing the West Bank in practice away from the positions of the High Court of Justice which believes, like many elites in Israel, that the annexation process would pose “demographic risks” to the identity of the Jewish state. This is due to the increase in Palestinian residents and citizens.

In addition to the Nation Law’s violation of previous laws relating to the status of the Arabic language, which now is considered a special status law instead of an official language according to the British Mandate laws, we must also take a serious look at the law’s sixth article.  This article violates the rights of foreign countries and is a blatant interference in its internal affairs. The article stipulates a close relationship with Jews in other countries, referring to them as the “Jewish people,” meaning that the laws of the Jewish state would apply to these people, despite being citizens of other countries, based on the fact that they are Jewish. The article also stipulated the need to “preserve the cultural, historical and religious heritage of the Jewish people among Jews in the diaspora. It also implies that the responsibility of non-Israeli Jews in the diaspora falls on the Jewish state, thus constituting a flagrant interference in the responsibilities of the other countries towards their citizens, regardless of their religion.

The Knesset: A parliamentary vote to occupy history and the future

The Nation Law should take us back to the past UN resolution that was cancelled. This resolution was issued in 1876 and considered Zionism a “racist movement”. I believe that the time has come to restore this international law to the forefront of the Palestinian Arab movement in order to confront the Nation Law, which is irrefutable proof of Israel’s racist nature.

Takfir: a strategic asset for Muslim enemies

Imperialists and Zionists (in recent days joined by Hindu Nazis and Wahhabi obscurantists) have plagued the world for most of the last century. While couching their nefarious designs in beguiling language, their methods are shockingly brutal.

The imperialists use a number of tools to achieve their nefarious agenda in countries where they deem the government troublesome or unyielding. Some of the methods used in the past can be identified:

1. CIA/MI6-engineered military coups including the assassination of leaders refusing to comply with imperialist-Zionist demands;

2. Direct military invasion and occupation of a targeted country (usually one that has little capacity to fight back and win);

3. Use of sanctions to cripple a country’s economy, and more recently;

4. The creation, arming and support of terrorist proxies.

In the past, the imperialists’ preferred mode of operations was to engineer a military coup against a “troublesome” foreign leader resulting invariably in his assassination (Prime Minister Liaquat Ali Khan, Pakistan, 1951; President Jacobo Arbenz, Guatemala, 1954; President Ngo Dinh Diem, South Vietnam, 1963; President Salvadore Allende, Chile, 1973). Even if the leader was not killed (Mohammad Mosaddeq, Iran, 1953; President Sukarno, Indonesia, 1966), the country was taken over and controlled by the military, either directly or indirectly, to serve the political, economic, and strategic interests of imperialism. Given that in most post-colonial independent states, civil institutions, unlike the military, are not stable or strong, the imperialist powers — the US, Britain, France, etc. — have always cultivated and maintained close links with militaries in these states and operate through them.

In some instances, direct military action has also been resorted to. Vietnam in the 1960s and in recent times Afghanistan, Iraq, and Libya are examples of this type of intervention (the imperialists and their allies are still in Afghanistan but have failed to subdue the resistance). After their bitter experiences in Iraq, Libya, and Syria, the imperialists and their allies have changed tactics. They have now resorted to creating local proxies such as takfiri terrorist groups to embroil Muslims in internal problems. The takfiris are the Muslim world’s equivalent of the death squads the US had unleashed in the 1970s in Guatemala, El Salvador, and other Latin America countries, but with a religious twist.

The creation and support of the takfiris has served two purposes. First, it created a pretext for imperialist powers to justify to their gullible publics that there is an “external threat” to their existence and military action is necessary to confront it (fight them there before we have to fight them here!). Second, the creation of such groups divides Muslims along sectarian lines thereby weakening Muslim societies.

In the past, Muslims belonging to different schools of thought did not face any major problems in dealing with their differing interpretations and understanding of Islam. Why these have become such contentious issues today leading to wars and killings can be properly understood only if we consider the forces supporting them.

In 1997, a group of neoconservatives comprising hardcore Zionist Jews and Christian fundamentalists in the US produced a manifesto titled, “Project for the New American Century” (PNAC). It was broad in its sweep and brazen in its declarations. The document set out an agenda for the US, whose principal aim at the time was to “deter rise of new great-power competitors.” It called for establishing “Four Core Missions for US military forces. These were identified as:

1. Defend the American homeland;

2. Fight and decisively win multiple, simultaneous major war engagements;

3. Perform the “constabulary” duties associated with shaping the security environment in critical regions;

4. Transform US forces to exploit the “revolution in military affairs.”

These “core missions” would be achieved by making “sufficient force and budgetary allocations” for the US military. In order not to leave any ambiguity or create misunderstanding, the neocons spelled out the purpose of the mission. It was to “defend key regions of Europe, East Asia, and the Middle East and to preserve American preeminence” (emphasis added).

The regions identified in the PNAC document as far back as 1997 have subsequently experienced major upheavals from Ukraine and Southeast Asia to the Muslim East. For the purposes of this article, we will confine our discussion to the Muslim East.

In order to achieve their nefarious agenda, the neocons had also called for a “Pearl Harbor type” attack on the US mainland to convince war-weary Americans to support endless wars. This came about in what is referred to as the attacks of 9/11. While the official version of 9/11 has been widely discredited, we will not detain ourselves with its minute details, and who knew what and when in the US establishment. What is important for our purpose is that these attacks were used to launch the neocons’ agenda of endless wars.

The neocons had already ensconced themselves in important positions within the George W. Bush regime. Some of these figures can be named: Dick Cheney (Vice President), Donald Rumsfeld (Secretary of Defence), Paul Wolfowitz (Undersecretary of Defence), Richard Perle (Chairman of the Defence Policy Board), William Kristol (editor of the rightwing Zionist magazine, Weekly Standard), and a host of other Zionist neocons.

About a week after the 9/11 attacks, General Wesley Clark, retired four-star US army general and Supreme Allied Commander of NATO forces in 1999, revealed that he had gone to the Pentagon to meet top officials. After meeting Rumsfeld and Wolfowitz, Clark went downstairs “just to say hello to some of the people on the Joint Staff who used to work for me, and one of the generals called me in.”

According to Clark, the general told him, “We’ve made the decision we’re going to war with Iraq.” When he asked whether some information connecting Íaddam Husayn to al-Qaeda had been found, Clark was told, there was nothing new that way. “They just made the decision to go to war with Iraq,” the general told Clark and said, “I guess it’s like we don’t know what to do about terrorists, but we’ve got a good military and we can take down governments.” Then he said, “I guess if the only tool you have is a hammer, every problem has to look like a nail.”

Clark then listed seven countries the US was going to “take down” in five years, according to the general he met in the Pentagon, “Iraq, then Syria, Lebanon, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and, finishing off, Iran.”

What has transpired since 9/11 in the Muslim East shows that the neocon agenda is on track. The Ba‘thist regime of Íaddam Husayn was overthrown in Iraq (2003) and the dictator subsequently hanged (December 2006) — a fate he richly deserved — but Iraqi society has also been fragmented. A country where sectarianism was not an issue suddenly became the most pressing problem resulting in immense sectarian violence. A group calling itself al-Qaeda in Iraq emerged in 2004 ostensibly to fight the American occupation but in reality to advance the US agenda as did the original al-Qaeda that had operated in Afghanistan prior to the October 2001 American invasion. Many Muslims in their innocence believe Osama bin Laden was fighting the Americans. This may have been true after the Soviet forces withdrew from Afghanistan (and even that is doubtful) but prior to that date he was working with the Americans. In December 1989, for instance, Osama was brought in a CIA plane from Afghanistan to Pakistan where the Pakistani politician Imran Khan met him at the US Embassy in Islamabad.

Since the US invasion and occupation of Afghanistan (2001) and Iraq (2003), other countries on the Pentagon’s list have also undergone major upheavals: Somalia, Sudan, Libya, Lebanon (to a limited extent), and Syria. True, the imperialists and Zionists have not succeeded completely in their nefarious agenda but this was not for lack of trying. If Libya has been an unmitigated disaster for them, Syria has also not been a roaring success.

The reason for targeting Syria to overthrow the government of Bashar al-Asad was related to the resistance front against Zionist Israel. It is through Syria that help can be sent to Hizbullah as well as to the Palestinians. If Syria were taken out of the equation, the resistance front would be seriously undermined. It is not surprising why so much effort was invested in overthrowing al-Asad and destroying Syria.

The imperialists, Zionists, and their Arabian allies have partly succeeded in achieving their goal: Syria’s destruction. The ultimate objective of these moves was to weaken and undermine the Islamic Republic of Iran as a major pillar of the resistance front as well as a model for independent existence free from the political architecture imposed by the imperialist powers — the victors of the Second World War. The Islamic Revolution offers an example to all oppressed peoples worldwide to stand on their feet and not surrender to global bullies: the imperialists and Zionists. It is this example of independence and steadfastness based on self-respect and dignity that the imperialists and Zionists want to undermine and ultimately destroy because its continued existence and growing power would end their exploitative policies.

Even while decrying the lies and distortions of the Western corporate media, many Muslims have naively fallen for the West’s propaganda, especially about Syria. Al-Asad need not be one’s favorite ruler but the fact is that the alternative facing the Syrian people is so horrendous that they would rather stick with him for now. Regrettably, some Muslims have also become victims of sectarian propaganda that is churned out by countries like Bedouin-ruled “Saudi” Arabia that has now become an open ally of Zionist Israel.

We must also address the question of why the imperialists chose takfiri groups for this purpose. Having tasted the bitter fruit of nationalism, socialism, ba‘thism, berberism and many other -isms, Muslims realized that the solution to their problems lies not in adopting alien ideologies but in returning to the teachings of Islam. Muslims have witnessed fraudulent independence granted by the departing colonial powers. It has been a cruel hoax. Only the Islamic Revolution offers genuine independence and its example has inspired groups and peoples worldwide especially in Lebanon (Hizbullah), Palestine (Hamas and Islamic Jihad) as well as in South America. In fact, prior to the Islamic Revolution, the Palestinian struggle was stuck in the nationalist mould; it posed no threat to the Zionists but caused immense damage to the Palestinian people and cause. In late-1987, when Islamic Jihad and Hamas emerged on the scene, it led to the first Intifadah in Palestine. The Palestinian struggle was brought over to its natural Islamic mode. Islamic resistance in Palestine has achieved notable successes against the Zionist occupiers since then.

It is the resistance front that the imperialists and Zionists fear and therefore, want to undermine. Developments in the region, however, show that the resistance front is getting stronger while the conspiracies of the enemies of Islam are being exposed and defeated, “The enemies [of Allah] plot and plan, and Allah also plans; and Allah is the best of planners” (3:53).

The Arabian rulers have exposed themselves by their unrelenting hostility towards the Islamic Republic when they should have embraced it. These hypocrites put on the appearance of being Muslims but are in reality stooges of Zionism and imperialism. 

The Zionist-Imperialist-Arabian officials and their religious and civil employees have shown the world a consistency of blowing hot and cold against the Islamic awakening in Iran since its very inception 38 years ago. And if the past is an indicator, these talk-big loudmouths will continue to blow their own noisy trumpets against the Islamic base in Iran. 

The Muslims’ problem is not with imperialism and Zionism — these are the avowed enemies of Islamic awareness, Islamic emergence, and Islamic development. Most Muslims know this well. The Muslims’ problem is with the Arabian regimes that have an Islamic exterior (appearance) and an anti-Islamic interior (essence). These inferiority-afflicted regimes have shown all types of hostilities toward the Islamic comeback in Iran. In the course of the past 38 years, they have pursued policies and plots to sometimes intimidate and sometimes threaten, and yet at other times to overawe the standing-tall Islamic state. They were, in their munafiq ways, behind the wars that were directly and indirectly launched against this self-governing Islamic state. 

 At the onset of the Islamic change in Iran, these Arabian executives and officers could not offer themselves the time that was needed to evaluate and ascertain the direction of the newly established state. More than that, these Arabian political slaves of Zionism and imperialism showed their favoritism for the Iranian Shah hoping that he could survive the locking of hands between the ‘ulama’ and the people in Iran. When the master imperialist in Washington washed his hands of the Shah, these Arabian surrogate rulers were still hoping and bargaining on his return to Iran. Arabian mouthpieces and media networks went into a frenzy to discourage the Iranian and Arabic-speaking peoples from identifying the uncompromising Islamic Revolution in Iran. None of that worked. The Islamic momentum in Iran was a people’s momentum and the makeover and transformation of a jahili Iran into an Islamic Iran was here to stay and for good. 


Last month (February 22–23), the 38-year enduring Islamic Revolution/ Republic held an international conference to enhance the struggle of the Palestinians — their struggle for freedom, justice, and the right to return to their homes and cities in all of Palestine. This conference is not the first (it was the sixth such conference) and will not be the last. Consistent with the strategy of a truly independent Islamic state, Tehran from its very first days of Islamic self-determination espoused the liberation of the land and mind from Zionist colonization and proselytization. 

The USA, ever the Zionist minion, could never approve of a popular Islamic movement. The Arabian regimes had other things on their mind; they could not envision a non-Arabian government taking the lead and working night and day on a strategy that would rid the Holy Land of the ungodly Zionists. When Islamic Iran stands out in support of Palestinian rights it makes some Arabian fat-cat regimes resentful and others spiteful. These Arabian kingdoms and republics calculated through their gut-feelings that if the Palestinian cause was to be championed by non-Arabians (Islamic Iran) — at a time when Anwar al-Sadat’s Egypt had capitulated lock, stock, and barrel to the Zionist lord and the Shah became a wandering royal vagabond — it would only be a matter of time before their true political subservience would surface for all to see. This self-survival gut feeling now drives these political primitives into the lap of Zionists and the hugs of imperialists. Then and now they are doing everything they can to obstruct the course of Islamic Iran. 

On the other hand, there were masses of Arabs who were excited to see an independent Iran and an Islamic Iran take the lead. They were optimistic that this self-determining and non-aligned Islamic country with its spectacular revolution will usher in a new phase in an otherwise deteriorating part of the world. The intuition of the Arab peoples was positive as opposed to the gut-feeling of the Arabian regimes, which was negative toward the Islamic paradigm shift in Iran. And as is the case in most circumstances, those in power reacted first. With the help of their Zionist, British, and American masters, these Arabian regimes began an extensive two-pronged attack on Islamic public opinion. They used practically all of their institutions (media, academia, political, economic, etc.) to mug Islamic Iran with their vile propaganda. They gave it all they had to convince Arabs and Muslims that Iran is an outcast Shi‘i state and the Iranian people are nothing more than fire-worshipping Zoroastrians or sectarian Safawis. These regimes wanted this propaganda to take effect in the manner of a barrier to prevent the Arabs and Muslims from following the Iranian lead in getting rid of despotic dictators and tyrannical taghuts. This poisonous propaganda was infused with all the Sunni-Shi‘i buzzwords and nationalistic catchwords. The demons of division were resurrected out of which came the monsters of animosity and the hate that loves to kill (takfir). The Arabian regimes opened the Pandora’s Box of fitnah. These Arabian regimes (especially in the Arabian Peninsula) accuse Iran of instigating this fitnah. The fact is that they themselves set off this Sunni-Shi‘i and Arab vs. ‘Ajami fitnah. These regimes and their “scholars” went looking for some controversial statements in the Shi‘i context and history and they found some. Such controversial statements are found in every context and history — the Sunni one included. And then these official Arabians began to exaggerate and blow everything out of proportion. This led and leads to an internal Islamic hemorrhage that can only benefit Zionism and imperialism. 


The towering Islamic Revolution/Republic produced a model of factual and faithful independence. It rejected all types of foreign interference. It proclaimed that the security of the region is the responsibility of the peoples of the region and not that of the US or the Zionist regime or any other far-off or extraneous nation-state. This did not sit well with the regimes dependent on imperialism and Zionism; true and truthful independence would mean that they would cease to exist. Regional security becoming the responsibility of regional peoples would mean that the Arabian regimes dependent on the US, Britain, and Israel would have to part with reliance on Washington, London, and Tel Aviv. To counter this, the Arabian regimes went on a verbal offensive accusing Islamic Iran of “exporting its revolution” or “interfering in the internal affairs of their countries.” Instead of opting for their own independence and self-reliance, these Arabian monarchies tried (and are still trying) their best to keep public opinion from contrasting Islamic Iran’s independence with their own dependence on the US, Britain, and Israel. There are no foreign military bases in Islamic Iran; there are scores of military bases, installations, and operation centers in Arabdom. Islamic Iran has gone a long way in building its civil, industrial, and military infrastructure. The Arabian regimes are addicted to signing military contracts with all and sundry. No Arabian official has ever told us why they are so afraid of Islamic Iran and not so afraid of Zionist Israel! They haven’t explained to us why they cannot build their own infrastructure! Who prohibits them from having their own military industry! Is it Islamic Iran? Or is it the US, Israel, and Britain? 


When all this propaganda hot air gets them nowhere, these Arabian scaredy-cats go running to mama in Washington, London, and Tel Aviv. And guess what? The next step, we are told, is that “everything is on the table,” by which they mean war and they hint at using nuclear weapons. This, of course, is a shot of opium to the Arabian political addict who needs his Zionist-imperialist fix. The Saudi regime and its chickenhawks scared the Ba‘th regime into a war with Islamic Iran. Actually, it was the Zionists and the imperialists speaking through the Saudis and their hangers-on that if Íaddam does not defeat Islamic Iran, Islamic Iran will defeat Íaddam: either, or! This Arabian war of aggression on behalf of Zionism and imperialism resulted in a long drawn out conflict against Islamic Iran, draining the Muslim East of precious resources and sapping the Muslim generation of an important military potential had it been directed against Israeli aggression and warmongering. The Capitalist-Israeli-Arabian (CIA) alliance was ecstatic during those eight years when Muslims killed Muslims — depleting Iran and debilitating Iraq. 


Through all these years of combat and conspiracies, the Islamic Revolution/Republic has left an undeniable impression and a strong influence on the masses of Arabs and Muslims. When Islamic Iran terminated the Zionist embassy in its capital, other Arabian regimes were germinating Zionist embassies or missions in their capitals. How can thinking Muslims not take notice of this? 

When Islamic Iran supports Palestinian freedom fighters and Hizbullah, and the Arabian regimes speak for or cheer on the Zionist attacks on Palestinians and Lebanon, how can thinking Muslims not take notice of this? Islamic Iran has raised the consciousness of the Muslim public concerning the capitalist and imperialist theft of Islamic resources. Islamic Iran has been and will continue to raise the revolutionary temperature of Muslim and oppressed peoples in the Muslim East and in the oppressed south. Islamic Iran has elevated public awareness pertaining to the terrible trio: America, Israel, and Arabia. Islamic Iran lifted the spirits of the committed Muslims belonging to the Islamic movement in the world while at the same time it caused the sectarian zealots (Sunnis and Shi‘is) to come out in the open. 

As tardy as it is for some to confess, the Islamic Revolution in Iran is the first real success story of Islamic self-determination in contemporary history. As a sideshow to this groundbreaking revolution, Arabian rulers began to show up in masjids, on camera, and for publicity’s sake. Kings and presidents began to show up more frequently to the public during Ramadan. 

The US and Israel contributed to the popularity of Islamic Iran — not that they meant to do so, of course. Words of condemnation from Tel Aviv and Washington turned into popular adulation for the Islamic Revolution. Sanctions that were meant to bring the Islamic leadership in Tehran to its knees caused Islamic Iran to stand up on its own feet, and by relying on its own resources to stand tall among the nations. The US through its myriad policies in the Muslim East inferioritized the Arabians and superioritized the Zionists. Islamic decision-making in Iran broke out of that inferiority-superiority dichotomy by building an independent economy and a strong military. This military-economic independence of Islamic Iran scares the daylights out of the Zionists and their vassals. Islamic Iran does not go to Washington or London or any other capital to sign military contracts. Saudi Arabia and its Arabian juniors and jahili juveniles import everything from potato chips to computer chips. Not so with Islamic Iran. It has developed research and development institutions, it put scientific minds to work, it enhanced scientific investigations and discoveries, etc. It worked its will all the way to acquiring nuclear technology. In the meantime, the Arabian talkathon diplomats were busy concocting conspiracies and following orders. 


Islamic Iran has its space program; it has put satellites into orbit and others are being prepared for launch. Jahili Arabia orbits around its midriff and waistline. Islamic Iran may be working on developing intercontinental missiles; Arabian officials are hardworking on intra-Islamic fitnahs. Islamic Iran supports the Palestinians openly. The Arabian stab-them-in-the-back rulers support the Israelis clandestinely. The result: Israel could not defeat freedom fighting Palestinians and Lebanese in the last four war attempts. Israel when supported by Arabian regimes defeats Arabian armies, but Israel when opposed by Islamic Iran is defeated by Arab fighters. The Arabian fitnah-masters tried to draw Islamic Iran into sectarian wars in Iraq, Bahrain, Yemen, and Syria, but Islamic Iran showed great maturity by avoiding sectarianism and standing on principle in all these cases. 

The US, the workhorse of Zionist interests, is trying its best to connive against Islamic Iran with calls for renewed sanctions and the forging of an alliance between Saudi Arabia, Israel, Egypt, and Jordan. This will come to naught because there is a limitation to imperialist power and a limitation on people’s ignorance. The Arabian emperors have no clothes. Their alliance with Yahud (Zionists) and Naßara (imperialists) is out in the open. Victory may be less than a generation away. 


The “Muslim” in the “Arabian” will wake up one day soon. This “Muslim” will discover how jahili juvenile he was by always relying on an imperialist master and a Zionist boss to solve his self-inflicted problems. Liberated from his inferiority past, he will realize how obsessed he was with the false powers of the mustakbirin. The Arabian problem, in one sense, is that it cannot coexist with an Islamic power but can coexist with an anti-Islamic Zionist and imperialist power. Arabians are quick to go to war with themselves: from pre-Islamic Aws and Khazraj, Dahis wa-al-Ghabra’ all the way to today’s Iraq, Syria, Yemen, Bahrain, etc. And when it comes to Zionist Israel none of these Arabians can marshal an iota of courage! Arabians, in their political madness, cannot tolerate freedom for the “other” (Iranians) when they themselves are slaves! Therefore, Iran must remain under the yoke of Zionism and imperialism — Iran must remain a slave! If these Arabians had independent minds they would have spent all those trillions of dollars on building their industries and infrastructures instead of spending it on self-destructive wars, leaving hundreds of millions of Muslims poor, hungry, malnourished, ignorant, and displaced. 

A salute to Islamic Iran… and a slap to jahili Arabia!
