Omani Mufti Criticizes OIC Inaction on Israeli Crimes

IQNA – The Grand Mufti of Oman criticized the inaction of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and the Arab League regarding the crimes of the Zionist regime.

In a statement, Sheikh Ahmed Al-Khalili said the crimes of the occupiers against the Palestinians continue despite the signing of a ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip, Arabi21 reported.

He said these attacks are being carried out despite the signing of the agreement between the parties under the supervision of some Arab and Islamic countries, so the question arises: where is the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, the Arab League and the concern of the Islamic community and why is no action being taken?

Referring to the continuation of the brutal aggression of the Zionist regime on Gaza and other Palestinian areas, despite the ceasefire, he expressed regret over the failure of these countries to condemn the ongoing aggression.

The senior cleric pointed out that the silence is not limited to the countries supporting the agreement, but also extends to the rest of the Arab and Islamic world, raising the question, “Where is the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, where is the Arab League, and where is Islamic zeal?”

Citing the words of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), the Grand Mufti of Oman emphasized that it is obligatory on all Muslims to stand against this aggression with all their might.
