Tehran Friday prayer leader
The interim Friday prayer leader of Tehran has stressed that there will be no negotiation with the United States until Washington is reformed.

Ayatollah Sayyed Ahmad Khatami said, in his sermon on December 5, we neither send messages nor negotiate with a country that betrays even its own friends, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
The scholar noted,” There will be no negotiation as long as the US does not reform itself. Donald Trump imagines that he can bring Iran to the negotiation table but he too will not succeed just as the previous US presidents since Jimmy Carter failed.”
Still in another part of his sermon, Ayatollah Khatami referred to the Leader’s televised message addressing the Iranian people and said,” The Leader hailed Basij (voluntary forces) describing its culture as one of sacrifice for religion.”
“Also, the Leader emphasized that the propaganda machine of the enemy was activated following the 12-day Israeli imposed war portraying Iran as defeated but both Benjamin Netanyahu and Donald Trump failed as Iran emerged successful against the US and Israeli regime.”
He pointed to the collapse of the Israeli defense systems during the 12-day June war and said,” Enemy’s failure was decisive and they will be defeated again if they make another mistake.”
