Some day when the history of US- Israeli genocide in Gaza is written the Arab dictators’ role will be written as the worst ever treachery . The need of the hour is for a Caliph Omar who walked while his servant on the camel back to take over Jerusalem and not rulers depend on US and Israel with their evil agendas against Muslims.
In the television footages and social media people all over the world round the clock see the barbarity unleashed in Gaza. This cruelty unleashed since 8 October 2023 woke up people worldwide who come out in their hundreds of thousands demanding to end the killing and starving of Palestinians. Such peaceful demonstration were not allowed in the Middle East . In fact praying for Palestinian victims in Gaza is banned in Saudi Arabia- birth place of Islam .
For example US President Donald Trump , known for his outright condemnation for Arabs and Muslims, officially recognized Jerusalem as the capital city of Israel on December 6, 2017 and relocated the American diplomatic mission to Jerusalem from Tel Aviv.
This was a historic shame to Muslims worldwide who regard Masjid Al Aqsa in Jerusalem as their first Qibla- direction for prayer. The ensuing Abraham Accords, signed in 2020, confirmed Arab governments' own contempt for Islam and their repressed populations in return for various US favors.
Now President Trump remains an active partner with Israel in the slaughter of Palestinians in Gaza. Despite all his hostilities towards Islam and Muslims, Arab dictators gave a billion dollar reception to welcome Trump during his four day Gulf visits covering Saudi Arabia, Qatar and United Arab Emirates. He also snatched a record investment agreements worth $2 trillion with Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Qatar.
This was a historic shame for Muslim worldwide.
US-Europe and Israel never tolerate democracy in the Middle East. To cite an example in the free and fair elections held for the first time in 60 years in Egypt pro Muslim Brotherhood Mohamed Morsy was elected.
Egyptians were jubilant that dictatorship ended.
However
there were alarm bells in US-Europe and Israel. They got their Saudi, Kuwaiti and
UAE hit men to spend eleven billion dollars to create artificial food and fuel
shortage leading to peoples uprising which enabled the overthrowing of Morsy’s
government. Plotters promptly installed Egyptian
military chief and Defense Minister Abdel Fatah al-Sisi in power to serve US-Israeli interests.
Express his gratitude to Saudi Kind Abdullah and United Arab Emirates (UAE) President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed al-Nuhayyan for the support and assistance given by the two to oust legally elected President Mohammed Morsi’s government and the emerging Islamic movement in Egypt.
Today El Sisi’s tyrannical regime is maintained by US at an annual cost of 1.3 billion dollars .In return Sisi obediently supports US-Israeli conspiracies against Islam and Muslims and the genocide in Gaza . Sisi pressured Ahmed al-Tayeb, the grand imam of Al-Azhar, the world's foremost Islamic institution, to withdraw a statement condemning Israel's "genocidal starvation" of Gaza.
Saudi and UAE maintain close secret ties with Israel involving multibillion dollar joint investment projects. Abu Dhabi which triggered civil war in Sudan is home away from home for Israelis.
Explaining the situation columnist Mated Mansour said “defeating the Arab democracy movement left autocratic states hollowed out and often reliant on US and Israeli support to survive. Palestinians cannot expect help anytime soon.
More than a decade after the mass revolts that swept the region, the result is weak states, with contested legitimacy, only able to exercise power over their own citizens through mass violence - not dissimilar to the way that Israel is treating the Palestinians.
Today the gap between Arab rulers and their populations has never been wider, an unsustainable situation in the long term.
In the midst comes reports of Egypt, Jordan, Syria, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and the UAE supporting Israel in its recent attacks on Iran. This is a dangerous development which provoking Iran could set ablaze the entire region.
Recent events have reopened questions that had long been buried regarding the prospects for popular mobilization, which the region's autocrats have answered with yet more repression.
In several Gulf states, the waving of Palestinian
flags and wearing of keffiyehs have been strictly banned. Even prayers offered
in support of Palestinians have been suppressed by Saudi police in Mecca. The fact of the matter
is that the gap between Arab rulers and their populations has never been wider, a situation that is clearly unsustainable in the
long term.
While Latin American countries such as Brazil, Bolivia, Chile and Columbia have
recalled their ambassadors, or have severed or downgraded diplomatic ties with
the Zionist state, not a single Arab state that has "normalized" with
Israel has done so.
In an article titled The World Wonders! Where are the Arabs? Dr Mahboob A Khawaja said” history never witnessed such a decadent culture of Arab moral, intellectual and political behavior. When would they learn from the living history to distinguish between foes and friends?
Surprisingly,
some non-Muslims could do much more than the Muslims. The case against the
Israeli war criminal in the ICC was lodged by a non-Muslim state like South
Africa and not by Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, Turkey or Pakistan. The largest
protest rallies against Israel are seen in London, Paris, and Rome, Washington
and not in Riyadh, Cairo, Istanbul or Karachi.
No amount of condemnation is going to help the
victims of Israeli barbarity. Some practical action is needed. Every Muslim
must find out the way to play his or her role to help the Palestinians. .
Reiterating
these views Dr. Mahboob
A. Khawaja said blind terror and hatred of Arabs and Islam blends
the American and Israeli conquest plans for “Greater Israel”, a catastrophic
abnormality taking shape and form without any deterrence. Despite the so-called
International Law, the UNO Security Council and vigilant global humanity
wanting an immediate ceasefire in Gaza, crimes against humanity and forcible
displacement of 2.5 million civilians are daily events. .
History never witnessed such a decadent
culture of Arab moral, intellectual and political behavior. When would they
learn from the living history to distinguish between foes and friends?
Gaza
and West Bank are obliterated by Israeli war over 22 months of continued
bombardments of civilian infrastructures. Why would they buy weapons worth
$100B from the US as none of the Arabs have leadership or armies to fight? If
the leading Arab leaders had capacity and moral-intellectual foresight, they
should have challenged the insanity of war and protected the innocent masses of
Gaza. The Arab leaders appear morally, intellectually and politically
bankrupt said Dr. Mahboob A. Khawaja .
