Francesca Albanese smeared for exposing tech billionaires complicit in Gaza genocide

By David Miller

Genocidal Zionists are incandescent with fury at the continued solidarity with Palestine shown by international lawyer and UN Special Rapporteur Francesca Albanese.

The latest tactic is to have the Donald Trump administration announce sanctions against her.

“Albanese’s campaign of political and economic warfare against the United States and Israel will no longer be tolerated,” the Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, posted on X. “We will always stand by our partners in their right to self-defense.”

Rubio is one of the most pro-Zionist people ever to be appointed to the post of US Secretary of State and has received over a million dollars from Zionist lobby groups, “making him one of the top recipients of pro-Israeli donations”.

The sanctions announcement coincided with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's visit to Washington, DC. Rubio and Netanyahu met on the same day that the sanctions were announced, which must suggest very close coordination.

This latest effort to target Albanese comes after recent attempts (for example, by regime front groups, the ADL and UN Watch) to force the UN to remove her from her post failed.

The sanctions will freeze any assets Albanese has in the US and would likely restrict her ability to travel to the US.

Albanese is an Italian citizen. If the sanctions are fully enforced, they could also prohibit her from engaging in financial transactions within the European Union.

Albanese has been quoted as dismissing the US move as “mafia-style intimidation techniques”.

The sanctions follow Albanese's scathing report on 30 June in which she named over 60 companies, including major US technology firms like Google, Amazon and Microsoft, which she said were involved in "the transformation of Israel's economy of occupation to an economy of genocide".

The report called for the International Criminal Court (ICC) and national judicial systems to pursue investigations and prosecutions of corporate executives and companies. It also called on United Nations member states to pursue sanctions and asset freezes.

Albanese regularly receives death threats and endures well-orchestrated smear campaigns directed by Israel and its allies, and valiantly seeks to hold those who support and sustain the ongoing genocide in the besieged Gaza Strip accountable.

She lambasts what she calls “the moral and political corruption of the world” that allows the genocide to continue. Her office has issued detailed reports documenting war crimes in Gaza and the occupied West Bank, one of which is called “genocide as colonial erasure.”

Make no mistake the Zionists and their US allies are persecuting Albanese because she is effective.  In sanctioning her, they are trying to stop her ability to function. In fact, they are trying to isolate her so that it becomes thinkable that she could be imprisoned, disappeared, or even killed.

In apparent coordination with the announcement of sanctions on Albanese attack ads smearing the indomitable genocide opponent appeared on Google.

According to an investigation by Italian website Fanpage, starting on July 5, the Israeli regime launched a pay-per-click advertising campaign on Google to discredit the rapporteur: by paying Google, a sponsored page discrediting Albanese appears as the first search result.

Those who search for her name on the search engine no longer find the Wikipedia entry as the first result, but an ad sponsored by the Israeli regime accusing her of having “ repeatedly violated the principles of impartiality ” and having had “ contacts with terrorist groups, including Hamas .”

The page is funded by the Israeli regime's advertising agency, which works for Netanyahu, using commercial communication tools to manipulate the narrative about the genocide.

The mechanism is simple: just pay to push a page to the top of Google search results. It works with a pay-per-click system, where users choose specific keywords related to their products or services and create targeted text ads.

It’s not as if Google is neutral on these matters.  Its founder, Sergey Brim, has launched an attack on the United Nations as well, saying it was “transparently antisemitic” in an internal memo.

Brin’s comments came after a UN report issued by Albanese accused Google, and its parent company Alphabet — along with Microsoft and Amazon — of aiding Israel’s “ongoing genocidal campaign in Gaza” through cloud and artificial intelligence support for the Israeli military and intelligence agencies.

Brin also said that “throwing around the term genocide in relation to Gaza is deeply offensive to many Jewish people who have suffered actual genocides.” He went on: “I would also be careful citing transparently antisemitic organizations like the UN in relation to these issues.”

The internal memo was sent to staff at Google’s DeepMind AI division.

Brin is the co-founder of Google along with Larry Page.  Both are billionaires with Page ranking at 7th and Brin at 8th in the Forbes ranking of all of the world’s billionaires.

More importantly, both are Jewish and both are Zionists, along with 9.1 percent of the world’s billionaires (276 out of 3,028), compared with a global Jewish population of 0.2 percent.

The bosses of the other two tech companies in Albanese’s report are also listed high in the rankings – Mark Zuckerberg at second and Jeff Bezos at third.  Bezos is not Jewish, though Zuckerberg is.

It is worth reflecting that of the top ten richest billionaires in the world, five are Jewish. That is Larry Ellison, Mark Zuckerberg, Larry Page, Sergey Brin and Steve Ballmer.  Each is strongly Zionist.

It's extraordinary enough that 50 percent of the top ten billionaires are Jewish in a world where only 0.2 percent of the population is Jewish. But what of the others, the five non-Jewish billionaires in the top ten? Are they neutral on Zionism? Briefly, we can note their intersection with Jewish supremacist ideas.

Musk occasionally says things that Zionists don’t like, such as his recent apparent falling out with Trump over Epstein.  But any doubts he might have on Zionism are easily trumped by his military contracts and the propaganda tours offered by Netanyahu.

Bezos has made statements on the Zionist project, but Amazon is (as Francesa Albanese shows in her report) deeply embedded with the regime in enabling the genocide, despite mounting opposition from the Amazon workforce.

Arnault and family, the owners of Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy (LVMH) have investments in the Israeli-occupied territories, including in cybersecurity.

Warren Buffett both invests heavily in the Zionist entity and once hosted three Israel-bond dinners raising nearly $300 million for the colony.

Amancio Ortega is the founder of the Inditex fashion group, which owns Zara. There have been past calls for boycotts of Zara due to events involving franchise owners in Israel and past campaign events.

Billionaires do not have to be Jewish to aid the Zionist genocide, though it definitely helps. What is most striking about this data is how effective the Zionists have been in co-opting and (perhaps) strong-arming the Gentiles at the top of the billionaire class.

It is clear that to stop the genocide, we will have to de-Zionise the whole tech industry and the whole billionaire class.
