Lebanese Islamic Action Front: Gaza Events Are Genocide, Not War

This comes amidst a heavy silence from the international community and the Arab world.
According to Taghrib News Agency(TNA), Al-Ja’id, speaking on behalf of national parties and forces, declared, "What is happening in Gaza is not war, but organized genocide. We are here to shout the truth in the face of blatant oppression, widespread crime, and a treacherous silence—a silence that is no longer neutrality, but complicity in the crime."
He emphasized, "We stand here with resolve, commitment, and action, not just words, alongside Gaza, Palestine, and a people who are defending, on our behalf, Quds, dignity, justice, Islam, and humanity."
Al-Ja’id highlighted the dire situation: "In Gaza, homes have become mass graves, children have turned into fragmented flesh, hospitals into killing fields, and places of worship into piles of rubble. Over two million people in the 21st century are deprived of medicine, food, water, and air, and the world watches."
He firmly stated, "This is not just a war against Gaza; it is a war against humanity. More dangerous than global silence is the official, shameful Arab silence, which, by closing crossings and preventing aid entry, has become complicit in this genocide. Should bread be withheld from a Palestinian child at an Arab crossing? This is a disgrace, not honor, nor religion, nor Arab identity."
Al-Ja’id also asserted, "From an Islamic perspective, we say: whoever disregards the affairs of Muslims is not one of them. From a national perspective, we say: Gaza defends the honor of the nation, and its fall will be the beginning of the fall of other Arab capitals. And from a human perspective, we demand an immediate halt to these crimes and brutalities."
Addressing the world and the people of Gaza, he declared, "We will not remain silent. From Lebanon, we tell you: your voice is our voice; your hunger is our hunger; and your steadfastness is our pride. You are not alone, and your resistance inspires the free people of the world."
Al-Ja’id concluded by referencing the martyrs of the Lebanese resistance, including "the martyred and truthful commander, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and his companions." He vowed, "From Beirut, a city that has sacrificed its dearest fighters for Palestine, from in front of the United Nations, we pledge to remain with you. Gaza will never kneel, Palestine will not die, resistance is invincible, and victory is a divine promise."
The organizers of the event underscored the continuation of popular and media movements in defense of the Palestinian people.
